Harley, Wyatt, Zoey, Tut & Jack

This morning everyone worked on their breakfast when I arrived. It was so nice and warm out already! We went into the yard and I played a little fetch with Harley. Miss Zoey did her silly little dance as she ran over to give me kisses! Later I went to sit on the patio with her. Harley got jealous and was trying to climb through the sides of the chair to get on my lap (since that's the way Zoey came up)! I'm amazed she didn't get herself stuck! Tut wandered out with us a little while, but decided he didn't want to stay out. I let Jack out through the garage before I left. He will enjoy the gorgeous day! This afternoon I came in to find Tut lounging away comfortably on a chair in the living room. He came out with the dogs and I for awhile. Harley and Wyatt did a little chasing, then they each settled down with their own toy. Zoey just laid out in the grass and enjoyed the warm afternoon. This evening Harley and Wyatt did quite a few laps around the yard. Zoey snuggled up in the chair with me while they were busy. Tut was outside with us and he got caught up in all the action! Harley and Wyatt started chasing after him, so he ran up into the hammock tree. He sat at the little nook just barely above where they could reach! I got Harley to fetch her soccer ball for me, so we played with that for a bit too. They should all sleep well tonight!

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

This afternoon Bootsie was standing at the door as I let the pups outside. He followed me and wanted some attention. He rolled around on the ground next to me, stretching his paws out towards me. Bootsie was giving me little love nips on my knee to remind me to keep petting him! The dogs would zoom by us once in awhile. Buckley laid in the shade and chewed on his squeaky toy. The other three took turns coming to visit me in between their mad dashes to either side of the yard. Chloe laid by her tree and stared up at it for quite awhile. Later this evening I let the pooches out again and watched as they all raced for a flock of birds that were sitting in the yard! Bootsie came out and got some more attention. Then he sat by the pool gate for awhile and just observed everything. The boys were having fun chasing each other and wrestling around tonight. Later, we saw a dog running around loose. That kept the dogs very entertained! They all even started howling together. When it was time, we headed in and got them their snacks again. They've been very good puppies!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

The pups were all outside when I arrived today. They got to spend a long time outside while the girls cleaned. What a perfect day for them! I went out to visit with them for a bit. All three bounced over to see me. I had Buddy giving me kisses on one side, Jimmy hopping up to lick my chin, and Sugar snuggling up on the other side. I pointed out to Jimmy that his lab puppy friend was out. He looked over, saw her and raced over as fast as his little legs could carry him! He ran a few laps along the fence with her. This evening I let the kiddos all outside. Buddy was first at the door to come in and wait for his dinner. After they all finished, we all went back out since it was still pretty nice out. All three did some exploring. When they got tired, they curled up on their doggie bed together and enjoyed the evening air. They lined up in the kitchen when we got back inside for their bedtime snack.

Frankie

This evening, I flipped on the lights and Frankie ran so excitedly to see me. She plopped down at my feet and rolled over, demanding a tummy rub. I baby talked to her and she loved it. We headed outside and she was so good. She went potty for me as soon as we got to the grass. Strangely, she didn't want to sniff around like usual. She just came back by me like "Alright, let's go." We went back inside and I gave her a small treat. She was so gracious. Then she sat with me and took a nap.

Both kitties appeared when I arrived this morning and followed me to get their breakfast. The pups ate theirs quickly, then I started working on cleaning up the yard. Wyatt and Harley kept themselves busy, chasing each other around. Zoey hung out on the patio, curled up in her chair. After I finished, I went to sit with her for awhile. Soon, I had a puppy pile on my lap! I was laughing so hard. They all were trying to climb up for attention, even Harley. Wyatt ended up winning the spot for a little bit. I played a little fetch with Harley before it was time to go. Tut came onto the back patio as I was letting the dogs in. I pet him for a couple minutes as he sat on the table, watching a couple birds in the yard. Jack came out the front with me and got some attention in the driveway. This afternoon was really nice out, but a bit windy. The pups didn't mind at all! All three were having a blast chasing and wrestling around with each other. Zoey got so dirty from rolling around! Wyatt found his ball and decided to roll around on that. I stayed a little longer so they could enjoy the nice afternoon a bit more. This evening it was another race for my lap! All three were climbing on me. Harley and Wyatt soon got bored with that and took to chasing each other in the yard. That gave little Zoey some time to snuggle up with me. She gave me lots of kisses! We heard a husky in the neighborhood doing his signature howling bark. Wyatt and Harley went into the yard to listen closer. I checked the doors to see if Jack was waiting to come in before I left. I didn't see him, but when I got to my car, there he was, rubbing up against the front bumper! I called him and he came running with me to go let him inside.

This afternoon I let the kiddos all outside to play. It was very nice out! Buddy had brought a bone out with him to work on. All three went to the side of the house to lounge around in the sun. After a little while, Jimmers came over to sit by me. When it was time to head in, they all got a treat. This evening all three pups were bouncing at my feet when I got inside! I let then all out to do their business. It didn't take long before they were at the back door, ready to come in for their potato snack. After they finished, we went back out for a bit since it was still pretty nice. The three of them huddled up on their doggie bed together. So cute! I don't think they liked the wind too much, so we went back inside. Jimmy and I played a little fetch, while Buddy laid on my lap and worked on a rawhide.

Miranda

Little Miranda and I played some fetch today. She loved how nice it was outside. She seemed so happy. Everytime I would throw a toy, she would run after it with such a huge smile on her face. When she wanted to relax, she came over and sat beside me. I gave her a big hug and lots of attention. She was all smiles the whole time.

This morning I got breakfast ready for both the dogs and cats. Zoey was last to finish, so miss Harley thought she could be sneaky and try to steal her food! I caught on too quick though and got her started playing some fetch. She and Wyatt had a blast chasing around with the kong toy again. Little Zoey enjoyed some more cuddle time in the chair with me. This afternoon Jack came out from hiding in the bushes just as I was about to close the front door. I let him in and he decided to go have a bite to eat. Tut came outside to visit with us this afternoon. He sat on the grill most of the time and watched the pups chasing around. The sun was shining, so all three dogs laid out and warmed themselves. I kept Harley entertained, kicking her soccer ball for her to fetch until she got tired with it! This evening Tut came in as I was letting the pooches outside. Little Zoey danced around and gave me kisses for a little bit. I asked Harley to go get her ball, then Wyatt quickly raced out to go grab the tennis ball to protect it from her! Anytime she got in the vicinity of it, he would quickly run to grab it. What a goofy boy! I had Harley busy anyways, chasing from one end of the yard to the other after her soccer ball.

The boys were right at the door when I arrived. They were both bouncing around in excitement, getting each other more and more riled up! I tried to keep them calm, as Buddy soon started coughing. It wasn't until they got their tatoes that they finally settled down! After dinner we all went outside for a little bit. It was a little cool out, so we didn't stay out too long. Inside Jimmy and I played a little fetch. Buddy hopped up by me and curled up on top of the pillows with his bone. Later, Jimmy snuggled up in my lap, giving me kisses. Everyone got a yummy bedtime snack before I left.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Sparkles & Blackie

Blackie was happy to see me as usual this morning! He worked on his breakfast while I let the other three outside. Next it was their turn! Sparkles came to visit with me again while they were busy eating. She was super snuggly today! Hudson got jealous when he was done eating and tried to chase her away. He then claimed my lap for awhile. Zel worked on her bone for a few minutes, then she and Gabbie curled up on the couch together. Sparkles was nearby, watching for her chance to come by me again. She was able to while Hudson snuggled with the girls for a bit. He of course, noticed soon and chased her off again. I let Hudson outside again, and had to carry the girls out because they didn't want to go back into the cold! After they went potty for me again, I let the little shivering ladies back inside right away. Blackie kept running from one side of the house to the other! He wasn't sure what door I would come out of next, so he had to race to find out. He's such a sweetie pie. I went back out to get Hudson, and saw he was frozen in a pose at the other end of the yard. He was so focused on whatever he was looking at, that he wouldn't even look at me when I called for him! I had to go out and fetch him. He was looking at the neighbor "Blackie". While I was cleaning off his paws to go in, his Blackie was nudging his nose at my arm trying to get my attention!
