Ginger, Scout & Tiger
Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy
This afternoon I let the three little ones outside while I cleaned up a small accident in the kitchen. When I got back out, they all were bouncing up at me to say hi! This time both Dilly and Roxy took a turn on my lap for some attention. Then, they wandered off to go explore on this gorgeous day! Later Roxy brought me her ducky toy. She played a little tug with me in between throws. She sure likes that toy! Next it was Bert's turn outside. She ran around with Dilly and Biscuit, from one side of the yard to another to bark at stuff. Dilly spent most of her time inspecting underneath the shed. Bert ran and pounced on her hedgehog toy, then ran around with it. She playfully shook it around, then brought it over for a little game of fetch.
Jerrie & Kimmie
This morning Jerrie was lounging on his chair comfortably. Kimmie was sitting in the window, enjoying the warm sunshine. Kimmie followed me around while I took care of their things. Back in the front room, I started brushing Jerrie for awhile. Kimmie finally made her way back in by us and she went and hid behind the curtain. After I gave Jerrie plenty of brushing time, I started to play with Kimmie. She would stick a paw out and randomly swat in different areas trying to catch me! It was so funny! Jerrie must have been really comfortable, because he didn't move from his spot the whole time I was there.
Baxter & Bubba
Today the boys were asleep in the living room again. They both woke up and stretched when they saw me. Bubba followed me around until I got to his food first this time. He must have been extra hungry today. He nibbled on his food while I fixed Baxter's. He had eaten every bite of his food from yesterday. He usually ate a decent amount, but he actually ate it all for once. What a good boy. He danced around on his paws back and forth while he watched me fix his food. Finally I gave it to him and he was in heaven, chowing down like it was his birthday. Meanwhile, I took care of the cat litter and refilled his water bucket with fresh water. When he was done, he went into the living room and sat down, watching me in the kitchen, through the opening above the sink. I kept talking to him and he would tilt his head at me like "What? I don't get it."
