Jasmine & Banjo
This evening I came to take Jasmine and Banjo for a nice walk as the sun was going down. It was pretty hot out all day, but had cooled down just right for us. The puppies came running in the garage to say hi! I kept getting tangled in their leashes while I was hooking them up. They were running circles around me! We got on our way. Jasmine was getting excited every time she saw something on the ground and had to go investigate! Banjo would lag behind once in awhile as he was looking around at things or people in the neighborhood. Jasmine knew when he was and she'd stop and turn around to wait for him to catch up. Every once in awhile they'd both run up to me and stop, just for some attention! Little Banjo was getting pretty tired on our way back home and started slowing down. They both perked up when we got home and they ran into their yard to get a drink. They both followed me all over the place while I scooped up the yard. (Sorry no pictures tonight, it was too dark already.)
Dakota & Benny
This afternoon Benny was so excited he was chasing me around when I came in. Kota started crying when she heard me and was bouncing around when I let her out. I let them go potty quick, then we decided to take a nice walk. It was pretty hot out, so we didn't go too terribly far. We tested Kota's little pouch and portable water bowl today. I put the water bottle in the pouch and attached it to her harness. She wasn't diggin' that! She kept spinning around trying to check out this strange thing on her back! I took the bottle out and just carried it along with us, so she was just toting around my keys, the little bowl and their potty bag. Once she got walking she didn't mind so much, but every once in awhile she'd look back at it. We stopped under a shade spot and tried out their water bowl. They both liked that! We stopped one other time for a drink on the walk today. Benny still got tired and was happy to get back in his nice cool house! He even crunched on an ice cube today.
Look mom, we're trying out our water bowl!
