Kita & Kitten

Kita welcomed me as I turned the key in the door! She greeted me and then went into the living room as if to say, "C'mon in"! I gave her a few friendly scratches and then asked if she wanted to go outside and Kita ran to the door. She waited patiently as I hooked her to the leash and then went outside to enjoy the evening air. Kita had a good time outside, talking to the neighborhood dogs, catching up on what went on during the day! While she was outside, I went on the hunt to find Kitten, but I did not have any luck! I filled the food bowl, hoping that would bring her out. Kita barked to be let back in and when she came in, she enjoyed some fresh water. We then sat down on the floor. It was so cute, she came over to me and sat down next to me! She didn't feel like playing with her toys, so we just sat and watched T.V! See you tomorrow - sleep well!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Kota and Benny were ready for another walk. It was so nice out! Kota was full of energy and kept galloping along the way. We saw two loose dogs a ways ahead of us, so we took a different route. Later, as we were getting close to home there was another dog roaming the neighborhood! That one was headed toward us, but stayed on the other side of the street. Kota and Benny were both hot and tired by the time we got home. I got Benny a fresh bowl of cool water, and gave Kota some ice cubes in hers.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy & J.R.

This afternoon I saw the note and checked both gates before letting the gang outside. They were all so excited! After letting the babies out they all took off down the hall and slid around the corner to the back door! They ran out the door barking and followed one by one to the back of the yard. After running a few laps, they started to each find a spot to relax and enjoy the amazing weather. Chloe noticed a dog being walked and she ran to the fence. The rest followed shortly after! They each took turns noticing something and would lead the pack to the fence. Buck would lay in the sun for awhile, then cool off in the shade. At one point they all were laying in the shade by the patio. Everyone came by once in awhile for some pets. Buck and J.R. gave me some nice kisses too. They took a break to come inside and have some water. After we were back outside for awhile, we suddenly heard this loud boom like thunder! I think it made us all jump. All four pups stood straight up, then ran around barking at the noise! Later Tizzy had fun rolling around in the grass. J.R. went right in his kennel and waited while I got their peanut butter treats ready. As I was rounding everyone up, I noticed a lump in the covers on the bed in the next room. I peeked under and got to meet Bootsie!
