Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I came in this afternoon and let all my little buddies out. We headed outside, where they all ran about. Jimmy went to the corner of the yard, laid down and enjoyed the warm sun shining on him. Sugar sat and stared at me excitedly! She ran around and found her own spot to relax. Buddy was doing his usual searching in corners and holes for little critters. They spent the afternoon outside again. This evening they came running to the fence to see who was home! Sugar ran, barking all the way to the back door to come inside. They all went in and waited in the kitchen for their yummy tatoes! Afterwards, we decided to go play outside some more. Jimmy ran along the fenceline with the neighbor dog. Buddy was busy back in the corner of the patio, crawling behind the storage box. Sugar just sat in the grass or did a little exploring in the nice warm evening air! When it was time we all headed inside for their treats. Then it was off to bed!

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

This afternoon Lacey was leading the pack at the door to see me! Tyler and Emma both playfully ran around, getting ready to go play outside. Lacey sat on the couch, curled up on a pillow while I got lunch ready. I visited with Luke while the food was cooling off. After the big pups came back in, Lacey and I went outside quick. She did her business, then looked up at me as if to ask if she could be done! I said "Ok!", then she ran to the door and waited with her tail wagging. They all finished their lunches, then the big kids were ready to go back out. Emma was being playful and crouched down on her front legs while I opened the door. She And Tyler galloped out and played by the fence with the horses again. Lacey wanted to stay in today, so she got a nice long tummy rub! Then she curled up in my lap until it was time to let Tyler and Emma back inside.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I let the pups out of their kennels this afternoon, then outside we went! They got another beautiful afternoon to enjoy outdoors. They went to their favorite side of the house to go lay and soak up some sun. This evening the pups were running around as I pulled in. We hung around outside for awhile yet since it was still so nice out. We headed inside to give the boys their meds. Afterwards, Sugar and Buddy ran to the door to go back out! They all played around some more out there. Jimmy picked up a toy and ran around with it, shaking it from side to side. He and I played fetch, while Buddy was searching and Sugar worked on some dinner. When it was time to go they lined up for their bedtime treats!

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR and Bootsie

This afternoon the pups all went racing out of their room to the back door. Once I caught up to them, Tizzy came running towards me, hopped up and did a slide across the top of the coffee table! They went running for their favorite tree. Chloe and JR both sat and stared up into the branches. I started talking to them, so then they all came running to say hi! Buckley was roaming around and later laid down in the cool shade under another tree. Tizzy went over to join him for a bit. A butterfly caught her eye, so she jumped up and bounced around, chasing after it! We heard the guys pull in, so I got the pups back in the house until they got back to working. They needed to cool down a bit anyways, so I got them a fresh bowl of water. As they were drinking, Bootsie decided to come out for some attention too! He hopped up on the kitchen table so I could reach him better. Then I noticed Chloe was sitting in the chair in the corner! Silly girl! Just as we were about to head back outside, daddy got home. Then they all got excited again!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny hopped up against my legs as I came inside. He and Kota raced to the door and waited for me to get their collars on! Lots of people were out again today, working on their yards and gardens. Kota tried chasing after birds whenever we'd get close enough. She wouldn't take her eyes off them! It was another very nice day out for us. By the time we got home they were both warm and tired! I got them some fresh cool water to drink, then it was time to go.

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

This afternoon Tyler and Emma were at the door, but Lacey stayed behind on the couch! Tyler and Emma went out potty while I got their lunch ready. After they came in, Lacey got excited and went into the garage with Tyler. I had to switch his bowl into my other hand to get her to go out. Then it was the girls' turn! After lunch Tyler and Emma went back out in the fenced area, then Lacey and I went out back. Tyler and Emma were racing around and around! Then Tyler flopped down and rolled around in the grass. Emma was dancing around by the fence, barking at the horses to play with her. Then the neighbor dogs came out, so they all ran around together! Emma got really excited when all three horses were right next to the fence. Today Lacey actually wanted to stay outside for a bit! Instead of running to the door after her business, she did some roaming around the yard. Then later, she and I sat on the patio instead of staying in, since it was so nice out!

My three pals were waiting at the door for me this afternoon. Tyler started making laps around the living room, prancing excitedly with his big paws! He and Emma went to play outside while I got their lunch ready. Lacey waited until the big pups were back inside before she was ready to go out back. I walked out on the grass with her and she followed long enough to do her business. Then, she ran back to the door to go inside. She caught me off guard today and jumped up, spilling out some of her kibble while I was pouring Emma's food out into her dish! Oddly enough, she was too focused on the bowl above her, and didn't notice me picking up the pieces off the floor! Tyler and Emma got to play outside a little longer after lunch while Lacey snuggled up inside with me. I passed by the bedroom and noticed Luke just sitting on the floor in an odd, human-like pose! He just sat there and stared at me as I stared right back at him! Haha!

Dakota & Benny

Benny was hopping around at my legs as I walked in the door today. He and Kota were ready for their walk! It was nice out and not too hot with the breeze, so we got our long route in. There were lots of other dogs out walking their humans today too! Benny got overly excited since he actually got to see all these dogs. Usually he can only hear them! Kota enjoyed some lunch once we got back home before going back into her bed.

This afternoon was so nice out, so the pups got to enjoy the day outside. They all went out and curled up in the nice warm sun by the side of the house. Jimmy was so comfortable that he sprawled out. Buddy was roaming around, searching for critters. Then he came over by me for a back rub and started rolling around in the grass! I put Jimmy's collar on and let them enjoy the gorgeous day. This evening the pups were bouncing at the gate when they saw me! I let them all in since Sugar was anxious to get inside. She went right for her spot under the bed. The boys were barking at me that it was time for their potatoes! I got their meds ready, then Sugar joined them. They all cleaned their plates. I talked to Charlie for awhile and he would tilt his head to look at me. The boys were working on their dinner until it was time to go. They all got their bedtime snacks then ran to their beds.

Sammy, Molly, Gracie & Couper

All the pups were bouncing up and down at my legs when I came in today. Molly was even singing to me! We all headed outside today since it wasn't quite as hot out. Couper and Gracie were first up on my lap as usual. Sammy and Molly were both lounging in the grass. Some kids were walking by the fence, so they all suddenly jumped up and ran over there! Gracie and Couper came back to their spot, to give me lots of kisses. They took turns snuggling up with me, then running around the backyard. We had a little visitor today, a tiny bird busy building its nest! Gracie and I watched as it carried twigs into the corner where its nest was hidden. Later, everyone went inside when it was time for supper. They did their little dance and followed me around as I held the bowls. After I got them each to their own, they worked away. Gracie finished first and visited with me. Molly and Sammy were done next. Molly went to her usual spot on the couch and waited until it was treat time!
