Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny was zoom-zooming around the living room when I got there. Kota talked away as I got them ready! Today we passed a little girl outside with her mom. She said, "Hi doggies! Momma look at the cute doggies! Awwww!". She was quite the cutie pie. We had some new dogs outside in their yards along the way, or at least ones we haven't seen in a long time. Kota and Benny both got excited! Benny barked and Kota jumped up and started running! Once we got home I let them play in the backyard for a few minutes. They came in and Kota worked on a little lunch.

Ethel, Lew, Danner, Jenny & Fiona

This morning Fiona met me at the door. The others barked for a minute from the garage, then came running to say hi. Ethel had eaten most of her dinner from last night and was up and moving around like normal. Fiona and Lew were bouncing up and down as I brought out their food bowls. After they all ate, we spent some time outside. They ran around and explored some, then were ready to head back in. I sat down on the floor in the living room with them and was getting all kinds of kisses! Jenny was attached to one side and Danner was rolling around on the other. Fiona stuck her head under my arm and Lew just climbed right in my lap! Fiona disappeared and returned with a red Kong toy. I tossed that down the hallway a few times for her. Then, she and Lew were goofing around and play wrestling. Everyone was so excited! They each got their treats before it was time to go.

Ethel, Lew, Danner, Jenny & Fiona

This morning it was nice and warm out, so I let the kiddos run around for awhile outside right away. Jenny and Lew were hanging out by the trailer, sniffing around. Danner and Fiona wandered around by their fenced in area and Ethel kept close to the porch. I rounded them up for breakfast except for Lew again. He wanted to keep exploring! When he was ready I fed everyone. He didn't want to eat for me at first, but he did later when I tried again and gave him some privacy from the others. I guess he just wanted some lovin'! I let Ethel hang out in her room for a bit so she could work on her breakfast too. Since it was so warm out I kept everyone in the garage for the day. Tonight I opened up the doggie door and they all came running out, one by one! I fed them supper right away; they were all so excited to eat! I had Ethel go in her room so she could eat. She must have been tired and decided to curl up on her bed. After dinner, the other pups roamed around the backyard. It was still so nice and warm out! Lew hung out inside for awhile and laid on his bed. I checked on Ethel, who was sleeping soundly. She was hanging off the bed a bit, so I scooped her up and made her more comfortable. Then she sat up and had a couple treats along with the others.

Bailey

This morning Bailey was wiggling her heiny at me as soon as I came in again. She went potty quick, then came in to eat her breakfast. She was in a playful mood. Bailey kept squatting down on her front legs and 'roo-roo-ed' at me! Then she would run up and give me a kiss or paw at me to pet her. She even started rolling around on my lap or next to me! She sat next to me for awhile and got her back scratched. Later, she chased her tail in a circle real quick! She settled down and curled up in her chair for a bit. I got her some treats and rawhides after she went potty one last time this morning.

Bailey

Bailey's little tail was wagging a mile a minute when I came in tonight! I let her out potty quick, then fed her dinner. After she finished she went right to the kitchen and bounced around, wanting her treats! We played in the living room with her toys for a bit. She jumped down on her front legs and was talking to me! I hid a treat in my pocket and it didn't take long for her to find it. Afterwards, she kept sticking her nose in my pocket looking for more! She gave me a couple kisses, then would run into the kitchen and peek around the corner at me. I gave Bailey some more treats before I left.

Ethel, Lew, Danner, Jenny & Fiona

This morning the gang went outside to stretch their legs in the backyard. Lew, Fiona and Jenny all went racing around! Lew decided to crawl through the fence on me. He was right there with everyone else when it was time for breakfast though! After they ate I gave them their treats. Jenny didn't catch hers, so Fiona quickly scooped it up. After cleaning I got a bunch of kisses from everyone. Fiona suddenly ran into the laundry room, pounced on the pillow and carried it into the living room! This evening someone had decided to play with the contents of the basket. Everything was strewn about! Fiona was prancing around carrying a plastic cup. I'm guessing I know who the culprit is! I let them all go potty out back quick before dinner. After I cleaned up they got their treats. This time several were having trouble catching their treats, so some got a couple! I let them all run around outside in the backyard for awhile. Fiona and Lew were exploring around by the fence. Jenny ran off the porch to go join them! When they came in they got pet for a bit, then got some more treats! Oh and thanks everyone for the people treats! They are quickly disappearing!

Ethel, Danner, Jenny, Lew & Fiona

I could hear the gang barking as I came in the house this evening. It took them to hear me talking to Ethel before they came running! I let everyone out back and they ate their dinner. Danner was a sneaky little guy and bolted for Fiona's food! Later I read the note on the counter, so I'll try feeding them separately next time. Jenny and Fiona chased each other around the backyard for awhile. Ethel kept close and followed me around. Everyone came back inside while I cleaned up Ethel's room. It looks like someone was having fun with the gloves. They were laying out in the living room! I tucked them away at the bottom of the basket. Jenny sat by the gate until I finished. I came out and Danner was rolling around on the floor! They lined up for their treats as I got Danner's meds out. Later I sat on the floor by Danner and soon after was surrounded by everyone! Even Ethel came over for her attention. Each snuggled up under an arm or got as close as they could. I was getting kisses on both cheeks and on my chin all at once! I put Ethel back in her room and she proceeded to curl up on her bed. Everyone got one last treat before I left.

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon was much chillier out than we've had in awhile. Kota and Benny were ready to go! Benny could hear the neighbor dogs barking as I got them leashed up. He was getting excited and talked back to them. Kota and Benny were racing each other at the start as usual. It was a pretty quiet day. Not too many of Benny's friends were out today. We got a long walk in and I let them run around out back for a couple minutes when we got home. Kota took a couple nibbles of food, then went to lay in her kennel. This evening I let them run around in the backyard. Kota almost didn't want to go out since she was too busy smelling other dogs on me! Benny heard some dogs barking out there so he had fun zooming around. There were a bunch of people outside back behind the house that kept Kota interested as well. She would run around, then stop to listen for them. I let Benny in to dry off his paws first. Kota was opening the door but couldn't keep it open long enough to get through! Once it was her turn, Benny was barking and running at her, being a little instigator!

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

The gang all met me at the door this afternoon. I let Tyler and Emma out back. Tyler hesitated like he wasn't sure if he wanted to go out and get wet! I took Lacey out back and put her in the grass, but she didn't want to to potty. She kept cuddling up to me and wanted to head back inside. I let them all in while I got their lunch ready. Lacey was staring up at the counter and the others were making laps around the kitchen. After they finished their lunch, Emma wanted to go back out. I let those two out back and found Lacey waiting at the back door. I took her out again too, and she finally went after I came out in the grass with her. She sure doesn't like the rain! Tyler and Emma were still having fun outside. Luke came out for some attention. He and Lacey came into the living room with me. Lacey was getting her tummy rubbed and would squirm around on her back! I let the big dogs back in and everyone got a snack before I left.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon the pups were ready to go outside. Once they got out there and saw it was raining, everyone quickly went potty and were ready to come right back in. Jimmy was happy to see me and was bouncing up and down for me to pet him. They ran around inside for a bit and each worked on having some lunch. I gave them a treat and put them back to bed when it was time to go.
