Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

Lacey started barking as she heard me coming to the door. Everyone raced to the kitchen, then to the back door. Tyler and Emma went outside to do their business and enjoy the nice day! Lacey came and hung out in the kitchen after I started to get their lunch ready. She came outside with me and went potty too. When we came in, Luke was waiting by the island. Everyone ate their lunch for me. Tyler and Emma went back out to play while Lacey snuggled up with me inside. She curled up and made herself comfy on my lap. Luke was sitting in the bedroom just looking out the window. When it was time, everyone came back inside and got a treat.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy & JR

Everyone was excited to get outside when I came this afternoon! They zoomed down the hallway, then would come sliding back around the corner to make sure I was coming! They ran to the back of the yard and started sniffing around. The boys wrestled around for a bit. Each took turns coming to get their attention and give me kisses! Buck found a nice stick to chew. The kids were relaxing in the sun while Chloe was still exploring. Later JR was picking on his sister and kept nudging her back! It was pretty funny. A squirrel was climbing down the side of the tree at the corner of the yard, so they all went running! It hopped down into the next yard. That little thing kept them entertained for quite awhile! They would all sit like statues, watching it's every move. If it would run across the yard, they would run along with it! They came inside when it was time to go and each got a treat while I got their peanut butter snack ready. The kids ran ahead of me into their kennels to wait! Chloe and Buck came in after me and curled up on their cozy beds.

Benny

Benny ran ahead of me, up to Kota's cage today to show me that she wasn't home this afternoon. Then he ran to the door and waited for his leash! Just the two of us, we headed on our way. Benny got us on a quick pace even without his sister leading the way. Things were creaking and flapping around in the wind today, which often made Benny jump! He barked at a garbage can for a minute after the lid made some noise. Benny took advantage of being able to stop as often as he wanted, since Kota wasn't there to hurry him along! As we turned one of the last corners, there was a loose dog across the street. I scooped up Benny and carried him until we were out of sight of the dog. Benny was excited to see that Momma was home!

Kita & Kitten

Kita barked twice at me as I was unlocking the door this morning! She ran back and forth to the living room twice, turning in circles as she got to the door. As soon as I hooked her leash on the collar, off she went! I refreshed the water, cleaned Kitten's litter box and filled both food dishes up then went to say good morning to Kitten. She was relaxing under the bed and stayed there as we chatted. Kita ran around outside all morning, enjoying the cool morning air. I had to come and get her, as it was time for me to go! I called her name and she came running around the corner. Kita had a great time outside today, and this evening was no different! But before she went out, I asked her if she was excited that mom and dad were coming home soon and she said "YES", just as I snapped the picture!! She spent the entire time outside, allowing for some quality time with Kitten! Kitten sat on my lap the entire time, so the picture I took was a close-up! We had a good time tonight!

Scout, Tiger, Ginger and Scotch

As I walked up the driveway, I could hear my friends announcing my arrival! All three greeted me at the gate, it was so good to see them again! I opened the gate and thought they would follow me outside, but it took a few trips back and forth to get all three outside! Ginger went first, followed by Tiger and then Scout! We stayed outside for a little bit, Scout and Tiger running around the yard. Ginger, however, was ready to get back inside as soon as possible! All three gathered at the door and back inside we went! I gave the dogs a fresh bowl of water and filled their food bowls, then I went out to talk to Scotch! I got a warm greeting and stayed to give some love and attention, I was even able to get a cute snapshot of Scotch! After I filled the food and water dish, I said goodbye to Scotch and headed back inside to give the dogs some treats! As soon as I grabbed the treat bag, all three raced over to be the first in line! We then sat down and took turns scratching and petting the dogs! It was time for me to go, so I said my goodbyes!

Benny & Dakota

Benny announced my arrival with a welcome bark and Dakota sang from her cage! As I let her out, Benny made laps around the couch! I put Dakota's leash and collar on and finally Benny came to a stop, just long enough for me to put his collar and leash on! They both pulled me to the door and out we went! It was a cloudy afternoon with a cool breeze, but we enjoyed our time! Friendly Benny said hello to all the neighborhood dogs, while Dakota kept us at a pretty fast pace! She doesn't like to stop as much as Benny! There was a time, however, when Dakota stopped and Benny was busy looking the other way and ran right into Dakota's back side! It was so hilarious! We made our way back to the house, Benny on the right and Dakota on the left side! When we got home, we did head outside to the back yard to play fetch and Benny decided that he was going to bring in the purple bone today instead of the green ball!

Kita & Kitten

This morning when I was unlocked the door, I heard the rattle of Kita's collar as she stood waiting to say hello!! She stretched, yawned and then started doing circles all the way to the back door! We enjoyed the cool morning air and I took a cute picture of Kita facing the sun! Back inside, I was excited to see if Kitten would come out to play again, but she gave me some tired, little meows like she had stayed up too late last night!! Oh well, maybe tonight she will be rates up enough to play!! Sure enough, Kitten was coming out of the bedroom when I opened the door this evening!! I went over to pet her for a few seconds, and Kita made sure it was only a few seconds and she barked at me, wanting to go outside! So I followed Kita into the kitchen and let her out and when I turned around, there was Kitten! I sat down on the floor and she "rammed" into my hand and flopped on my legs, enjoying the love and attention. She thanked me many times with her little meow and some rough kisses! We heard Kita whining outside, wanting to come in for some attention too! She went over to her water dish for a drink, then joined Kitten and I on the floor in the living room! Kitten continued to do somersaults at me as I was trying to take a picture of her, it was hilarious! Finally, she stayed long enough for me to snap a photo. Kita, on the other hand, is a professional! She loves to pose for the camera!! We had a fun night tonight; see you two in the morning!

Ally, Prissy & Daisy

This morning when I arrived, Ally had moved one chair down!! She immediately jumped down and came over to me and rubbed her head against my hand! We then went on a little hunt for Prissy and found her relaxing on a stool on the sun! She purred as I scratched her head and posed for a pretty picture!! The up the stairs I went to say hello to Daisy. She was relaxing on the second floor, but came down the ramp, knowing it was time to play!! She ran around the room, through her tunnel and even jumped on top of the bed!! After she got tired of hopping around, she came over to me and enjoyed some scratches behind her ears. Then it was off to play, dashing through her tunnel and down the side of the wall to the big pillow. She knocked that over and played hide-n-seek again!! It's so funny how at times you can only see her little ears in the corner!! It was time for me to go, so I got Daisy settled back in with her fresh water, food, hay and a few treats! I went down to say goodbye to Ally and Prissy. I gave each a few scratches then I was off! Thanks for the fun, see you next time!!

Flax

This morning, Flax was laying in his big, cozy bed when I arrived. He greeted me with a hearty bark and then went right for the door. Outside, we enjoyed the beautiful sun and cool morning air. Another quiet and peaceful day, perfect for a long venture! We strolled around the little creek, Flax taking one side and I on the other. We walked side by side in the frosty grass, and a few times Flax tried to cross over to my side, but he realized there was too much water, so we continued on together! Finally, he was able to get across at a dry area, then we journeyed over to the little pond. We definately took advantage of such a beautiful morning for a long walk! After we made it around the pond, Flax was ready to come in, so we made it back to the house and went in for some water. We sat on the floor and I gave him a few more scratches and then it was time for me to go! See you next time, Flax! Thanks for the great time!

Kita & Kitten

This morning, Kita quietly greeted me by the door and yawned as she slowly went to the back door! She must have had a fun night with Kitten and her toys! While she was outside in the cool, morning air, I refilled her food and water dish, along with cleaning Kitten's litter box and giving her fresh food! I then went and layer down on the floor and talked to Kitten, who was resting in her usual spot under the bed! We chatted for a little bit, until Kita barked she was ready to come in! I could hear Kita greeting me as I was grabbing the mail! She was excited when I came in the house. She ran to the back door and did some little jumps! While she was outside, I prepared a few little surprises in her dinner bowl. When she came in, I had one little piece left so I asked her to do some tricks! When Kita shook my hand, she put both her paws in my hand at the same time!!! Then she tan back to her food and showed down! Then it was play time! We played with her toys and her red ball. I went back to the bedroom to say hello to Kitten and there she was, sitting on top of the bed!! She meowed and rolled over. I sat and she enjoyed some scratches and continued to meow. There were times she would almost head-butt my hand and flop over! Kita sat patiently in the room while I gave some attention to Kitten! It was then time for me to go! I said goodbye to both and wished them a goodnight!
