Maggie & Moe

This morning I did just a quick visit with the girls. I let them out and they both went potty on the patio because the snow was too deep! They got their treats when they came in and I made sure they had plenty of food and water. Tonight the girls were happy to see me again and went right out for me. They were both full of energy! Maggie kept trying to sneak attack my face with kisses! Moe would hop up on the couch with her bone, then would go lay on her blankie, then come back again. Maggie was busy holding my hands with her paws and licking them. What a goof! I let the girls go potty once more and they came in and had some supper. This time Moe was hopping in my lap and licking me! Maggie saw that and took the opportunity to steal her bone. They went back and forth with the bone for a little bit, and even carried it around together. Eventually they settled down and snuggled up with me.

Wendy, Sassy, Twinkie & Bonkers

This morning I was running a little behind due to the heavy snowfall. So, the kitties were all waiting in the kitchen for me when I got there! Wendy and Bonkers were waiting on his little rug and Sassy was up on the counter while I got their breakfast ready. They each got their cookies, then it was time to eat! While they were busy eating I got the litter pans cleaned, food and water filled, and blinds opened. Afterwards they each got their turns to be pet! They will sure be happy to see you when you get home!

Auggie and Pattie

When I arrived this afternoon, both cats were already in their hiding spots! They must have known I was coming. I filled their food bowl and gave them a fresh bowl of water. I hoped that the sound of food would bring them out, but no luck! I went around the house trying to find them, but I had no luck with my search either. So, I went outside to shovel a path for the garbage can. Once back inside, Auggie did come out of his hiding spot. I found him sitting behind his usual chair in the bedroom. He did stay long enough for me to take his picture! Maybe tomorrow I will be able to say hello to Pattie!

Maggie & Moe

Tonight the girls came running to see me! They were very excited. Maggie didn't want to go outside at first, so I had to coax her out. They both quickly went potty and were ready to come right back in. While I was trying to get Maggie out, Moe was hopping around on top of the snow! They came inside and just wanted to snuggle and keep warm. They would come sit by me for a little bit, then curl up in their blankie by the fireplace. Moe had some dinner from her little bowl. Maggie was too occupied with licking my hands and trying to kiss my face! I went to fill Moe's bowl before I left and she had it halfway into the kitchen!

Wendy, Sassy, Twinkie & Bonkers

This morning Bonkers was already waiting in his spot and Sassy came running. Everyone got their cookies while I got breakfast ready. Sassy hopped right up on the counter and watched me closely. After breakfast, miss Twinkie was very snuggly and had me scratching her chin and rubbing her ears! Wendy came in by us to say hi too. Sassy was waiting patiently for her turn when I came back to the kitchen to clean their dishes. This evening Bonkers was lounging in his usual spot. Wendy and Sassy both came out and waited for their cookies. Wendy even snuck a couple nibbles of Bonkers' food! After taking care of my things, I went to spend time with each kitty. Bonkers purred away and gave my hand a couple licks. Wendy was meowing at me as I pet her, and rubbing her head on her toy basket! Sassy was loving up her turn and followed me around as I visited with the others. I had to search for Twinkie tonight. She wasn't in her usual spots. Eventually I found her sitting in the bathroom window. She heard me and peeked her head out from behind the curtain! It was so cute. I said goodnight to them all and see you in the morning!

Peek-a-boo!

Crash & Genny

This morning Crash and Genny went running out in the backyard right away. Genny had picked out a new toy to prance around with today, her piggy! They played out there for a little while, then came in and had some breakfast. They both sat nicely for their treats! Genny likes to go stand over by the drawer that they normally were in whenever they come inside. She hasn't noticed that they're on the counter now! They were full of energy this morning. Crash wrestled around with me for a bit, then he did with his sister. He would run over and nudge her with his nose! Later we played some fetch with the piggy toy. They each took turns bringing it back. They went outside again for awhile. Crash ran around while Genny was rolling around and rubbing her head in the snow! Tonight Crash and Genny didn't stay outside too long, as it was getting very cold and windy out. They came in and just wanted to snuggle up! They both gave me kisses, then curled up on either side of me. Genny got her tummy rubbed and had her little leg sticking in the air! I pet Crash for a bit and looked back over at her. She rolled to her side and stuck her leg up, "I'm ready, my turn!". She's so funny! We chased around the living room for a few minutes and that worked up their appetite. They worked on their dinner, then got a bedtime snack!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Kota and Benny went potty out back quick before we took our walk. It was much colder today, so everything had refrozen. That made it easier for Benny to get around! Kota was having fun walking up and down the big snow piles again. On our way back, we kicked around a little frozen snowball. Kota would run up and pounce on it! Sometimes she'd even.pick it up and carry it along with us. Benny freaked out at a snowman we passed by today (guess he didn't see it yesterday!). A little boy was out walking too and had a little face mask on to keep warm. Benny wasn't too thrilled and Kota was just curious! He stopped and said how cute they were. Once we got home I let Kota play outside a few more minutes while Benny and I played fetch inside.

Wendy, Sassy, Twinkie & Bonkers

This morning the kitties heard me come in and started lining up for their morning cookies and breakfast! Wendy and Bonkers sat on his rug while Sassy hopped up on the counter in her spot. I had to go get Twinkie, who was sitting in her usual spot in the window. While they worked on breakfast, I was busy cleaning up and opening blinds. Afterwards, Wendy and I played with some of her toys for a little bit. We rolled a ball around and she'd run over to and swat at it. I sat with Bonkers and pet him as he sat on his rug with his front paws crossed. Sassy had been following me around, wanting her turn! Tonight Wendy and Bonkers were in the kitchen waiting for me. I think Wendy wanted to help Bonkers with his night time snack! After cleaning the litter and closing blinds, I went to go visit with Twinkie. She was sitting on top of the couch in the back room. Wendy came along and got her back scratched a little too. She let out a few meow meows as I pet her. Twinkie has been warming up to me more and more each time I see her. She was a little shy at first, but tonight she was really enjoying getting her chin scratched! Bonkers was next, and he even gave me kisses on my hand in return. Sassy kept walking into the kitchen and rubbed up against the cupboards. She was checking if I was coming to her next!

Crash & Genny

Genny and Crash played outside for awhile this morning when I arrived. Someone must have decided to play with the bowl on the coffee table last night! The seashells were all over the floor and the bowl was in the front room. I picked it up and put it on the kitchen counter so nothing gets broken. Crash was hopping around in the snow this morning, sinking in each time. They each went potty, then explored around for a bit. Genny started eating some snow! They came in and got dried off before their morning snack. Afterwards, Genny had some breakfast. Crash and I wrestled around while Genny was snuggling up to me to get pet. If i stopped petting her for a second, she'd paw at me to let me know she was still there! It was pretty nice out this morning, so I let them play outside a bit longer. Tonight as I was driving up, there were two deer standing in the driveway! They hopped away when I closer. Crash bounced around and gave me a few barks "hello!" as Genny was walking circles carrying her froggy again. They ran around outside for awhile at first. Crash licked my face while I dried Genny's paws off. We sat around their bed and I had one pup kissing each cheek! They're so sweet! I gave them each a big kiss from their momma. Genny sat up against me so I could reach her back better haha. When I got around to her belly, she leaned all the way back like I was her chair! We took a break while they ate some supper, then back outside to play some more!

Dakota & Benny

I feel like it's been forever since I've seen these two! Benny started running laps around the living room as fast as he could when I got there. I let them out back right away so they could go potty quick. Then, we got ready to take our walk. Kota and Benny were both trying to kiss my face while I got my shoes on! The sidewalks were pretty deep with snow yet, so we kept to the road. Kota was having fun hopping into and walking on the snow piles. We didn't take quite as long a walk as usual, but we did get pretty far! We had to slow down every once in awhile so Benny could take his time getting over the snow. Poor guy! He was getting chilly after awhile so we headed back home. I let Kota bounce around out in the backyard awhile longer. She came in and had a few bites to eat before I left.
