This morning I let Ruby out and she ran to the back door. She waited there for me to come outside with her. We walked out back and Ruby did her thing. Rusty came out and had his ball ready to go! We played a short game while we waited for Ruby. Then, we went in so they could eat. Salem got up from her spot and talked away while she got her pets. I went back out so Rusty and I could continue our game after I fed the turtles their breakfast too. This afternoon, both pups ran outside to join me. Rusty found a ball and we started his game, while Ruby was busy roaming around. Rusty lost interest in our game after awhile and he was busy exploring the yard instead. Ruby had gone inside to go lounge on her couch before I left.

Rusty & Ruby
This morning I let Ruby out and she zoomed out the doggy door quickly. Rusty found his ball, then came out with us. They did their thing, then it was time to head in for breakfast. Ruby nearly had her head in the bin while I got her food this morning. Guess she wanted to make sure I was giving her enough. Haha! She cracks me up. Rusty got his no-itchy pill along with his food. They both finished off their breakfast for me, then I went to see Salem. She meowed and got her pets before I took care of her things. Outside, Rusty and I got a nice long game of fetch in. Miss Ruby sat next to me for some snuggles and pets. This afternoon, the pups came outside with me. Ruby did her business, then was roaming around checking things out. Rusty had found his purple ball from somewhere, so we got another long game of fetch in with that. It was a very nice day! This evening, I let Ruby out and she leapt and bounded over to her food bowl like a baby deer. Haha! I fed them right away since she would clearly waste away if I didn't! Haha. Oh Ruby. They finished and she made sure to check Rusty's bowl for any stranded kibbles. No luck there. Next, she bounced her way out back and the pups did their business while I fed the others. Rusty wasn't up for much play tonight and made his way inside after a little while. When it was time, I got Ruby tucked in her bed with a bedtime snack.
Waldo, Otis & Mabel
Today Waldo was already sitting in the laundry room, waiting for me when I walked in! Haha. Otis was just down the hall. Both boys joined me in the kitchen while I got their food ready for them. They snacked a bit, so I went to peek in the bedroom to see if Mabel was in her spot. Nope! She wasn't on the bed today, so I looked around for her. She was hanging out under the bed in the guest room. I saw she was doing ok and let her be. After I cleaned the box and filled their water, I saw the boys were waiting in the living room for me. We spent the rest of the time playing with their kitty toy. They were laying pretty close together at one point, so they took turns swatting at it. Later on, I had Otis zooming around in circles and jumping at the toy! Both boys enjoyed a few pets too.

Rusty & Ruby
This morning the pups and I went out while they took their potty break. It was a bit chilly out this morning, so Ruby peed, then raced back inside. She waited by her bowl, ready to eat. I got both pups their breakfast, then went to feed the others. Salem was happy for her pets. Rusty was ready to play this morning, but still no sign of either of his favorite balls. I grabbed the newer red one and surprisingly, he settled. We got a nice game in this morning. This afternoon, the pups joined me out back. Ruby was quick to do her business. I turned around, and Rusty was standing behind me, wiggling his heiny. He was happy to show me he found his favorite red ball! Ruby explored, while Rusty and I got a nice game of fetch in. This evening, Rusty met me outside. Ruby was inside, waiting to eat. Haha. I fed those two, then the big kids. I went back inside to check waters, and Ruby was standing by her bowl again. I think she wanted a second helping. Haha! She came outside with me and did her business. Ruby sat on the porch by me for her pets, while Rusty played a long game of fetch.
Bella & Zoe
This morning the girls were ready to head outside. It was a bit more chilly out there today. Bella let me know she was ready to go inside. The girls and I went in and I got them their breakfast. Zoe had her little piggy toy and was being a silly girl! She came over and played a little tug, then would fetch it if I tossed it for her. Bella joined in the fun too. She got the toy and held it while Zoe tried to steal it away. Bella sat with me for some pets after that. We went back outside for a little while. The girls did a little more exploring this time. When we went in, they both worked on their breakfast for me. Bella finished her bowl off, and Zoe was busy nibbling.

Waldo, Otis & Mabel
Today I came in and Waldo was first to greet me, as usual! He was quite talkative today, telling me all about what they've been up to. Haha. He pawed at the counter, letting me know he was ready to eat. Otis came by the kitchen once he heard me opening cans, then made his way through the living room. He waited until the plates got set down before venturing in to eat. Mabel was in her spot on the bed, watching me cautiously. I cleaned their box quick, then went to go say hi to her. She hopped down and made a break down the hall to go hide in one of the other rooms. The boys had snacked on their food and were now ready to play. I had both of them chasing after the butterfly toy for awhile today.
Oscar
Today I came in and spotted Oscar doing a great big stretch in the living room. He trotted over to say hi when he was done, then we went out back. Oscar wanted a few more pets and heiny scratches before he wandered off. He sniffed around the yard for a little bit, then found a spot to relax in the shade. He had lots of wildlife entertainment this afternoon! Haha. Oscar lounged and watched the moos grazing nearby. A couple birds came and had a little argument on the fence. Then later, I saw Oscar had his sight locked on a squirrel that was sitting on the top rail of the fence. I told him to go get it and he got up and moved to where he could see better. He curled up and watched some more. Later on, another squirrel came and they were chasing each other. That got Oscar racing after them as they shot straight up a tree! He stood up against the tree and whined for a minute. He would keep walking away, then would turn around and stare at the tree. Maybe he was hoping they'd come down since he was further away? Haha.
Bella & Zoe
This morning it was beautiful outside already! I let the girls out right away. The grass was a little dewey, so they got some wet tootsies walking around out there. Haha. Bella came and sat by me for her morning pets, while Zoe was busy exploring. Bella wandered out after awhile too, and checked things out. Both girls lounged on the patio until we headed inside for breakfast. I got them their last egg, which they were excited for! They ate well for me. This afternoon was still incredibly nice out. I let the ladies out for their potty break, while I got them some new rawhides to work on. They laid in the grass to work on them. I love how they have to lay right by each other. Haha! Bella got some sunbathing in the rest of the time. This evening the girls got up to wait for me by the gate when I came in. I opened the door and they zoomed outside. Such an awesome day today! We spent our last visit hanging out in the backyard again to enjoy the weather. Zoe was busy on patrol, roaming back and forth along the fence. Bella had fun rolling around in the grass. She had both her ears flipped back when she sat up! I couldn't get the camera out quick enough. Haha. She lounged in the grass and watched the people out in the neighborhood. When it was time, we went inside and I got them their dinner and a couple bedtime snacks.
Rusty & Ruby
This morning was beautiful outside. I let the pups out for their potty break. They came back in for breakfast and worked on that while I went to see Salem. She meowed away at me while I pet her. Rusty came in to show me that he had his purple ball and was ready to play! I followed him out after I fed the turtles quick. Rusty and I got a good game in, while Ruby was busy exploring. This afternoon the pups came outside when I arrived. Rusty forgot his ball, so he wandered around and explored a bit. Ruby rolled around in the grass and got a little sunbathing in. I kept on her to do her business, but she had to find just the perfect spot. While she did that, I fed one of the big kids some leaves, since they were right over by me. That was fun. Rusty had ventured inside by now. I thought maybe he was getting his ball, but he didn't come back out. After Ruby did her business, she and I sat on the patio and she enjoyed some pets. I went in to see what Rusty was up to. He wasn't in his usual chair. I found him in the bedroom, snuggled up in his doggy bed. Salem was napping on mom and dad's bed. This evening I came in and Ruby was already waiting for me at her bowl. I fed the pups quick. Once they finished, they came out and did their thing while I fed the others. Rusty was searching around for his ball. I found the newer red one and we played a short game. He just wasn't satisfied with that ball though. I went in and helped him look for the other ones, but I couldn't figure out where he put it. Maybe in the morning!

Rusty & Ruby
This morning Ruby zoomed outside while Rusty and I followed. She quickly did her business and raced back inside. I opened the door to find her by her dishes, patiently waiting for her breakfast. Rusty went and waited for his as well. While the pups worked, I went to see miss Salem. She was a lovey girl again this morning, and was happy for her attention time. She even would come into the other room to talk to me while I got the turtles their breakfast. The pups were waiting in the front room when I had finished. Ruby was busy working on her bone. This afternoon, the pups came outside with me. Instead of a ball, Rusty pranced his way out back carrying a rawhide! Haha. I told him to find his ball so we could play a little fetch. He couldn't find either of his favorites, but I saw the newer red one out in the yard. I threw that for him and he did race over to it. But then, he just looked at me. "This isn't my ball!" It took awhile of him searching, but he eventually gave in and we played with that one for a bit. This evening, the pups went out for their potty breaks before dinner. After they ate, they came outside while I fed the big kids. Ruby was racing around being silly. She found the rawhide outside and bounded around with that, and on inside the house for awhile. Haha. Rusty found his purple ball and we played with that until it was time to head in.
