Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This evening, everyone was barking when I got there! The little ones were bouncing around in their beds, so excitedly! I let them out and they all danced circles around me as we made our way to the door. It was still raining out tonight. They all went out to go potty. After I dried tootsies off, we headed inside for breakfast. Once they all finished, we went back out for awhile. No one really wanted to venture out into the rain, so they all hung out on the patio. Soon, Blackie was telling me he wanted to go in. He went and curled up in his bed. So cute!!

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out and called for Rusty. He wasn't about to head out into the rain today, so he just stayed in bed! Or, in his chair, rather. Ruby wandered out with me and I had her follow me out to the grass. She always looks so concerned when it rains! Poor lady. She was about to head back after she peed, but I got her to come back out and finish up. She went back in when she was done and sat in the bedroom. I visited with Salem a minute, then sat out by Rusty awhile.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let the boys out. Butler got his medicine quick. It was a rainy afternoon, so they hung out on the patio, under cover. Butler had fun rolling around on the couch out there. They would venture out once in awhile to check out some sounds or a barking dog they heard today. Then, they'd come back by me to shake off. Guess they wanted to share! Haha. They spent quite a bit lounging around inside this afternoon as well.

Winston

This afternoon I think Winston was napping before I got there. He did a big stretch while I opened the gate. I got his harness on and we headed outside. It was a dreary, rainy afternoon. We walked around a bit until he did his thing. Then, we headed inside. Before I even got the chance to take his harness off, he was busy rubbing himself along the floor! Guess he was drying himself off. Haha. I got his harness off and he continued being silly for a bit. Then, he ran and got his rope for us to play with.

Oscar

This afternoon I didn't have anyone greet me at the door. I started to get a little worried as I walked in! Once I got to the living room, I spotted my sleepy boy on the couch. He had the right idea, it sure was a good day for a nap! As soon as he saw me, he hopped down and ran over to say hi. I got a towel, then we headed outside. Oscar lounged on the patio for awhile in the dry area and watched the rain. Later, he ventured out to do his thing. Then, I noticed he was all excited about something in the plants in the corner of the yard! He was out there for awhile, then returned to lounge some more. I got him all dried off and we headed inside a little early to play. He grabbed his dragon toy and we played some fetch and a good game of tug. He was quite talkative about that! Haha.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning miss Stormy came to visit me in the kitchen. She tried to scoot away when I went to grab her for her meds. Not quick enough! Haha. She was not a happy camper about it this morning. She kept trying to squirm away and jump down while I tried to give her her medicine. I finally got her meds in, then set her down. I pet her and apologized. She stayed in the kitchen after that, until I finished getting their food. Sadi was up and crunching on some kibbles. I got her meds and cleaned her up, then let her eat a little. Both girls went to town on breakfast. We went to our spot after. I got Stormy to play with her shoe string this morning, since she wasn't interested in either of her toys. Sadi just sat and purred, as usual. This evening, Stormy was snoozing on her chair on the patio, listening to the rain. Sadi was sleeping soundly in her bed too. Good weather for naps! I woke her up for her medicine, then returned her to her bed.

Chloe

This morning Chloe was barking out the dining room window when I pulled up. She said hi, then I let her out. I brought her breakfast outside for her to eat. She stood in front of me for lots of snuggles and kisses! She kept trying to paw at me with her wet toes. Haha! When she wanted to, we headed back inside. We sat on her bed and she rolled over for some belly rubs. Then, she was throwing her paws around and being silly and playful. It was supposed to be rainy and stormy all afternoon, so she got to stay inside again today. It did end up raining all day. I went in to see the little lady. She was happy as always! I let her outside and she ran into the rain to quickly do her business. She came back in and ate her dinner while I kept her company. We sat on the patio for a little while after that. Then, we went in to play a bit. She was being silly, pawing at me and hopping and rolling around on her bed. When it was time, I had her got out potty once more and got her her snack.

Gracie, Molly, Emma & the kitties

This afternoon I saw Gracie was sitting at the back door. I made the mistake of letting her in through the bedroom door, instead of the dining room one, like I usually do. I think because we didn't do our routine, she got a little nervous and went right for the bed to hide. Silly lady. I got Emma to go out for awhile, but Molly wasn't gonna budge. I sat on the floor to talk to Molly a bit and see if Gracie would come out on her own. While I did that, Charlie came out from under the bed, and suddenly I was surrounded by kitties! Henry and Micah came over for some love too. I finally got Gracie to come out and see me, then we went for a short walk quick, just to build up her confidence. She, of course, instantly remembered me when I got out her leash. She was a happy girl then! This evening I let Gracie outside, while I got dinner ready for the pups. Molly and Emma ate inside and Gracie came in to eat as well. When they were done, the older gals went out for awhile. Gracie was going crazy, she was so excited to see me. It only took like 5 tries to get a picture of her, since she was jumping all over the place! Haha. Gracie and I sat outside for awhile, once the other two wanted back in. It was a very nice evening!

Rusty & Ruby

Today my little ducky friends were waiting for me! They were talking to me as soon as I got out of the car. I got them some corn to munch on, while I went in to see the pups. Rusty came from his room after I let Ruby out. We headed outside right away. It took Rusty a minute to figure out a path to take through the boards! Haha. Ruby cruised right on through. She went and did her business, then wandered around by the patio. Rusty was already rolling around in the grass and finding a spot to lounge. Ruby later joined him and laid around. It was a bit hotter out today, so Rusty wasn't feeling up for his game. When they had enough sun, both pups wandered inside. Ruby curled up on her couch and Rusty went back to his chair.

Winston

Little man Winston was ready for his walk this afternoon. I got him hooked up and we went on our way. We wandered around for awhile, until he did his business. It was a bit hotter out today, so we didn't take quite as long of a walk. We headed back inside to play awhile. As soon as the harness came off, he was jumping around all excited. He ran and got his little nylabone toy and was trying to get me to grab on and play tug. I told him that toy was too sharp for that! I did tease and make attempts to grab it, which got him just as riled up. We played a little fetch with it too. Next, he went to get his rope toy. Now that's better! We played with that awhile, until he went to get his green bone. It was a game of musical toys today! Haha.
