Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon I let the pups all outside when I arrived. I found the water dish for Charlie and got him some fresh water. I spent the rest of the time outside with the kiddos. Jimmy and Buddy saw a tree service truck by the neighbor's across the street and bounced around barking at it! They spent most of their time on the side of the house until it was time to head in. This evening the boys greeted me at the door. Sugar came running from her room and we all went outside for a bit. I came back in and started to get the meds ready for the boys until they were all ready to come back in. Jimmers and I played some fetch after they finished. Then, we spent some more time outside before bedtime. They raced into their room when it was time and each got a yummy treat.

Miranda

This afternoon, I found Miranda sitting behind the door, patiently waiting for me. She jumped up and gave me a hug, stretching at the same time. She ran to the backdoor so I could let her out. She bolted out the door and hunted down one of her toys. Meanwhile, I grabbed the other one and threw it. Everytime she would bring me one of her toys, I would throw the other. She was racing around like crazy. Then we took a break. She plopped down beside me for some attention before we headed back in.

Michael, Lucy, Sampson, Hailey, Bunnies, Kisses & Donkeys

Today Michael bounced about after I took him outside with me. Kisses was curled up in some hay when I passed the corner of the house. All three started making their way over to see me. They each got two more treats, which was the last of them. Michael was bouncing up and down on the patio when I returned, ready for his dinner. He finished pretty quickly again today and went back outside for awhile. Uno stayed mainly on the top of his shelf today while I cleaned. He did a cute little stretch, sprawling himself completely out! I didn't see Hailey today while I was visiting Elliot and Matilda. Those two were all snuggled together so cutely! Lucy and Sampson were jumping around with excitement when I finally came to see them! They both kept peeking in the window at me while I filled water bottles.

Michael, Lucy, Sampson, Hailey, Bunnies, Kisses & Donkeys

Michael was happy to come outside with me today. He did his business while I visited with the donkeys and Kisses. They each got a couple treats again today. Tinkerbell and Coco both peeked through the door while I was filling the food bucket. Guess they were hungry! Michael came back inside with me to get his dinner. He finished super fast today. He went back outside while I finished up. Uno made a bigger mess than usual today, so I put his hay bowl up on the shelf next to him. He pushed it right back off! "That doesn't go up here!" I had a good laugh at that. When I went to see Elliot and Matilda, I heard a meowing coming from under the bed! Hailey came out to see me and rubbed up against me while I pet her. She wasn't quite sure how to feel about it. She was purring while rubbing on my side, and hissing all at the same time! It was quite entertaining. I've been cleaning Matilda's eye really well and today it barely had any dishcharge to clean up. She was just as good a bunny as she always is! Elliot chomped away on his carrot while we were in the bathroom cleaning up. Michael came back inside while I went to see Sampson and Lucy. Sampson kept jumping up and smelling where I was holding Matilda. Lucy was happy to get a few pets before it was time to go.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda greeted me at the door, bouncing around, she was so eager to get outside. She grabbed the nearest toy and we headed out to enjoy the nice weather. It was a little chilly, but Miranda loved that sun. I threw her toy for her a few times, then she just relaxed in the grass, soaking up some sun. Then she trotted over and sat beside me so she could get some attention. She loved having her back scratched.

Papoose, Deets & Chata

This evening when I arrived all three of the puppies were barking and bouncing around excitedly. I opened the gate and let them out back. They zoomed around until they all took care of their business. Then it was playtime. Chata kept tugging on my sleeve, demanding I play with her. Deets was chasing her around and trying to wrestle with her. Papoose was just relaxing in the grass, chewing on something. It looked like a rock, but was probably a bone. I figured better safe than sorry, so I was going to have a look at it. Before I could grab it from her, Chata quickly stole it away. I kept telling her to drop it, and I think she thought I was telling her to lay down because she would plop down right by my feet and roll over. It was so funny! After all that, we went back in to warm up. Chata kept trying to sit on my lap and give me kisses. Then they each got a yummy beggin' strip before I had to go.

Michael, Lucy, Sampson, Hailey, Bunnies, Kisses & Donkeys

Michael came right to the front door to come outside with me when I got there. He hopped around, waiting for a quick pet before I went to see the donkeys. Kisses made her little goat call when she saw me. All three wandered closer again today as I walked up. They quickly lined up for their treats! They were happy to each get two today. (I just wanted to make sure they lasted.) Lucy was crying for some attention and today Sampson chimed in with her! Back inside, Michael waited at his spot for his yummy dinner. I tended to Uno first, then Hailey's box and food before letting Michael back out. Uno snuck past me today and did a little roaming around while I cleaned his cage. He came running back for his treats! While Michael was outside again, I went to see Elliot and Matilda. They were excited to start working on their carrot! Elliot stood on his back legs when I walked in with it so he could smell it better. Before I left I went out to pet Lucy and Sampson for a bit.

Chelsea

This morning Chelsea was excited to see me coming to the door. She checked to make sure I filled her food cup just right, then worked on her breakfast. Afterwards, we went for a nice long walk. She watched the geese and ducks on the pond as we walked past. When we got home, she laid near the kitchen, just to be ready for when it was treat time! I laid next to her and pet her. She rolled over so I could get her tummy too! She hopped up quick as she could when she knew it was time to get her snack. She politely did all the tricks I asked her to do!

Chelsea

This morning Chelsea was right at the door waiting for me. She trotted along with me to the kitchen to get her breakfast. After she finished, she stood in front of me and asked the question with her eyes. We went for our long walk this morning. She turned around before I did at our usual spot. She knows our routine so well! On the way back we passed a couple yorkies that were out in their yard. They barked and bounced along their fence with us. Chelsea got excited too and wanted to say hi! This evening I heard the blinds as soon as I got out of my car. I could see her watching me through the front window while I grabbed the mail. As soon as she saw me head for the house, she was at the front door again, making the blinds move! Chelsea quickly finished her dinner so we could get on our way. We went for another long walk since it was still pretty nice out. She looked for her sheltie friends who are usually out in their yard when we go by. When we got back home, Chelsea snuggled up with me in the living room. She kept giving me her face hugs against mine. She was excited for treat time, so she kept huffing at me and throwing my arm up with her nose as she'd walk by. "C'mon, get up!" She's so silly! She of course got her bedtime snack before I left.

Michael, Lucy, Sampson, Hailey, Bunnies, Kisses & Donkeys

This afternoon Michael let out a little bark as I was unlocking the door. Then, he trotted over to me and waited for me to let him out. He danced around excitedly outside as I pet him and talked to him a bit. As I passed the corner of the house, I saw all three heads pop up and they started making their way over to the gate! Kisses was first to come get her snack today. She then hopped up by her bowl to wait while the Tinkerbell and Coco came over to nibble their treats from my hand. Tinkerbell watched closely as I got their food out. Michael was hopping up and down when he saw me come back! He waited patiently by his plate while I got his dinner ready. I still didn't see Hailey today, but I know she must be snoozing somewhere because she's still eating and using her litterbox as usual. Uno made me laugh today. He was sitting in his litterbox when I came in. Then, he hopped up to my lap when I opened the door and was sniffing up at me like crazy! Either he smelled something really good on me or was just wanting his treats! Elliot and Matilda were snuggled quietly together in their cage again today. Matilda was very patient with me as I cleaned her eye out really good. They were excited to get working on their carrot treat as I put it in there for them. I let Michael inside, then went to visit Lucy and Sampson before I left. Lucy was busy rolling around in the grass, so when she got up her back was covered in it!
