Suzie, Katie & Blackie

This morning the girls sat and gave me kisses as I scratched their tummies. We waited for Blackie to finish his food, then Suzie proceeded to lick his plate clean. I noticed the girls hadn't eaten much of their food from yesterday, so I went in there and called for them. Only Suzie came in by me (Blackie did too) and she seemed a little nervous. As I sat there with her while she ate, I figured out what it was! I had moved the beeping smoke detector out to the garage so it wouldn't bother them. Well... I could still hear it! So I took the towels out there and buried it in between them. I didn't hear it again after that. I took one of the food bowls in to Katie so she could work on some food too. We spent the rest of the time sitting on the couch all together. This evening everyone came to greet me when I came in. After Blackie finished his dinner, I took the girls for a walk. We took a longer one again to make up for this morning. They bounced around in the living room after we got back. Blackie was so excited! He raced to the couch to wait for me. Then he claimed my lap and was being a sassy boy, not wanting to share me with the girls. They figured it out and moved to the opposite side of me though. When it was time, I got them each a bedtime snack.

Michael, Lucy, Sampson, Hailey, Bunnies, Kisses & Donkeys

Today I met Michael at the front door and let him smell me for a minute. He didn't want me to pick him up just yet. Instead, I walked him out holding his collar. He went potty while I tended to the donkeys. Tinkerbell came right up to me to say hi! Surprisingly, they each took a treat from me. Tink was following me around closely. Kisses hopped right up to wait for dinner. Next, I went back to feed Michael his dinner. I took care of Hailey and started in by Uno until he finished. Then, he trotted along behind me to go back outside. Uno was very curious and hopped up by my lap as I cleaned the cage. I think Uno was more looking for those cranberries than anything! Next it was time to see Matilda and Elliot. Matilda was such a good girl as I cleaned her eye up. Such a sweetie! I let Michael back inside, then went to visit with Lucy and Sampson for a minute. Lucy danced around me excitedly. On my way out I gave Michael one last pet on the head.

Frankie

This evening Frankie quickly ran out of the hallway to see me. She plopped down by my feet so I could get on her collar and leash. We headed outside so she could go potty next. It was really chilly out, so she didn't dawdle. When we got back in, she got a nice treat. Then we relaxed on the floor and she got a nice tummy rub and gave me lots of kisses.

This morning the girls came quietly running up to me with their tails wagging like crazy! Blackie ate his breakfast as the girls took turns getting pet. Suzie tried to sneak around me casually a couple times to go by Blackie's plate. I was on to her though! After Blackie finished, everyone bounced around as I grabbed the leashes. The girls and I took a nice long walk this morning. We took a different route today. We had to turn around at one point because a couple little Chihuahuas were trying to follow us! They were good and stayed in their yard though. This evening the ladies came over and were lavishing lots and lots of kisses on me! They knew what was coming after Blackie licked his plate clean. Well, actually Suzie did. Then, we headed on our way! After we got home I sat on the couch and Blackie claimed my lap right away. The girls sat with us for a bit, then they wandered off to bed. Everyone got a yummy treat before I left!

Miranda

Miranda peaked around the door quietly when I arrived to say hi. She grabbed her red toy and headed for the backdoor. We went outside and enjoyed the nice weather. Miranda ran around for a bit, then layed down to soak up some sun. She loved sunbathing when it was so nice out.

Frankie

When I arrived this evening, Frankie ran to the door excitedly to say hello. She quickly sat down so I could put on her collar. Then we headed out. She snooped around the grass for awhile until she found a place to take care of her business. She ran upto me when she was finished, and we headed back inside. I gave her a couple yummy chicken treats as a small snack. I sat down and she crawled on my lap, demanding I cuddle with her. She was such a sweetie.

This morning Suzie let out one little "how woo!" when I came in, then everyone ran over to see me. In fact it was Blackie that barked the most this morning, excited to eat! The girls were running circles around me, happy to get some attention. We waited until Blackie finished his food, then we made our way to the living room. It was a little too chilly outside this morning for a walk, so we stayed inside. Blackie snuggled up with me for awhile on the couch, and the girls had wandered off to their room. I went to go check on them after a bit. Katie sat up pretty on the bed and got all excited. Suzie came running in from the other room and jumped on the bed with her. I pet them for a bit until it was time to go. This evening I didn't get even a single peep out of the girls! Blackie was the only one barking, ready for his dinner. Suzie and Katie both came running to see me when they heard me come in. The sat with me, giving me kisses in return for snuggles while we waited for Blackie! We went for a longer walk this evening since we didn't get to go this morning. Blackie was waiting for us to come home again. They all got worked up and hopped excitedly on the couch with me for awhile. The girls wandered off to bed quietly when it was time and Blackie stayed curled up on a pillow.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today the kitties were sitting on their tower again, soaking up some sunshine. They both followed me and waited in the living room, Kimmie on the couch and Jerrie next to it on the rug. Jerrie went galloping back to his room when he saw me come out with the brush! Kimmie walked along with me, rubbing up against my legs. Jerrie laid on the floor and rolled to his side as I brushed him. Later, they both were sitting in the kitty tree again. Jerrie was on the middle tier, and Kimmie on the top. They started pawing at each other and playing! It was so funny! Kimmie played with me for awhile before it was time to go.

Miranda

I was so excited to see Miranda today. She ran up and gave me a hug, then went to find her toy. We went outside and she followed me around. She was loving the attention. I threw the bone for her a few times. She finally took care of her business, and we headed back in. She followed me to the door when I had to leave. She gave me a sad puppy dog face and made it hard for me to go. She was such a cutie.

This morning after a couple barks when I first got in, both girls ran up to me and sat with me while we waited for Blackie to finish his breakfast. It was Suzie that snuggled up with me the longest! They both started getting excited right away as I walked into the living room. Even Blackie was all worked up, happily barking and hopping around! I hooked the ladies up and we went for a nice walk this morning. Blackie was sitting in the window, waiting for us to come home. I felt bad that he couldn't come along. :( Everyone piled up on the couch with me when we got back inside. Blackie, of course, was first up there to wait for me to sit and cuddle up with me! The girls were perfectly quiet as I left this morning again. Katie followed me to the back room to get working on her breakfast. This evening only a couple barks again and I was greeted with wagging tails in the kitchen! The bark time when I arrive is gradually getting shorter and shorter. After Blackie finished I took the girls for another walk. They can hardly stand to wait for me to get their leashes on. Tonight Blackie went outside and I heard he was barking as we were leaving. He was happy to see us back. He ran and hopped on the couch to get ready for snuggle time with me! The girls had wandered off to bed, so he got one on one attention for awhile. Before I left I got everyone a treat and they were all perfectly quiet as I left!
