Flax

This morning Flax was laying out in the hallway when I woke him up. He got up and went outside with me right away. We went for a nice long stroll around the pond together. Then, he wandered back up to the house and curled up on his bed on the back porch. I sat with him and pet him for awhile. Flax would paw at me to keep scratching his head and back. Before I left he decided he wanted to come back inside for the morning. This afternoon Flax was up and ready to head outside again. I saw the horses were right by the fence, so we went over to say hi. They let me pet them while Flax did his business. When he was done, we went for another walk. We ended up back in the driveway and sat outside to enjoy the warmer weather. This time Flax stayed outside, so I got him his snacks and water dish set up out in the garage. This evening Flax and I were walking circles, never quite finding each other! When I arrived I thought I heard him barking in the garage. I went through the front and out to the garage, with no Flax to be seen. I stuck my head outside, hearing his barking again, this time sounding like it was coming from the back. After going out back and the barks fading, I went back out front again. Finally! There he was! He waltzed right in through the front door like, "I was looking for you everywhere!". He curled up on his bed while I got his dinner ready. Then, Flax enjoyed some more head and back scratched before bed.

Tyson & Morgan

Tyson came right up to the door to see me this morning. He followed me into the kitchen doing his cute little meow. I filled their food and water dishes, then cleaned the litter box quick. Morgan was pacing back and forth on the back of the couch. Tyson was happy to hop up and get a drink from the faucet for awhile. Meanwhile, I sat in the living room and gave Morgan attention. He kept walking back and forth, rubbing up against me. Then we had some static electricity going and would shock each other every time we touched! When Tyson was done drinking, I went to pet him for a bit too. When I started to scratch his chin, he did a somersault head first and rolled over, ending up belly side up! I made some whistling sounds like a bird and had Morgan running around all over looking for one. They're so funny! Tyson followed me to the door when it was time to go, not wanting me to stop scratching his chin.

Chelsea

This morning Chelsea girl was moving the blinds back and forth, then finally lifted them up with her head to see me! It was so cute. She followed me into the kitchen and inspected her food container to make sure I got the right amount. She quickly gobbled up her breakfast. Then she was doing her silly dance, "Can we go please? Can we? Can we?!". I grabbed her leash then started heading towards the door. Chelsea walked through my legs, then sat in front of me to make sure I hooked her up and brought her along! We went for a nice long walk again this morning. When we got home, we laid in the living room and Chelsea enjoyed a long belly rub. She was getting anxious for her treat time! She would sit up and start crying to me, then would bury her head in my arms. I finally asked if she was ready, then she jumped up and raced for the kitchen. Yummy treats! I turned her music on as she was working on her snack.

Chelsea

Tonight I was greeted with kisses on my hand when I got inside the door! I gave Chelsea, sweeyie pie a big hug before we headed into the kitchen. She helped me get her dinner and sat like a good girl at her bowl. She was waiting for me to sit at my usual spot at the table so she could get started. As soon as she finished, we went for a nice long walk this evening. We even ran for a little bit, which she thought was a blast! When we got back home, we sat in the living room. She pranced around and leaned her face against mine for a hug. I scratched her heiny for a bit. Then, she was being silly and hopping around, always coming back for a hug and back rub. She knew when it was treat time! She gazed up at the counted as I got her a couple treats, then turned on her music.

Flax

Tonight Flax was sleeping on his bed in the garage. He must have been enjoying his nap, because he didn't even wake up when I first got there! I went in and came back through the garage to get him up. He wandered right over to his bed and curled up while I got his dinner ready. After I finished I sat with Flax and gave him some attention. He groaned while I rubbed his head! He sure liked that. Before I left I spread out some treats for him to search for afterwards.

Frankie

Tonight Frankie came running over to her spot on the rug, sitting for me right away. She patiently waited while I got her all hooked up. She walked so nicely for me. We went for a nice long walk, around and around. She really enjoyed that! We kept going until she told me she was ready to go in, by heading back towards home. When we got inside she sat and waited for me to take her leash off. She of course got a treat for being such a good girl! We sat in the living room and she ran around excitedly, always stopping at my lap for attention. She gave me tons of kisses in return for it! She rolled over in my lap and got a nice long belly rub. I gave her a big kiss on the head and hugged her goodnight before it was time to go. I refilled her water and she got one more bedtime snack.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I could barely get inside tonight since two rugs were rolled up by the door. Jimmy was poking his head out at me, "C'mon hurry up! I want to give you kisses!". He bounced up and down when I finally got in. Buddy was curled up on the back of the couch and took his time getting down to go outside. They came in pretty quickly since it was cold out. Sugar emerged for dinner, then was ready to go out for her turn. She surprisingly, wanted to stay out for a little bit! She laid on her pillow and did a big stretch, reaching towards me. When she came in, she and Jimmy hopped up on the couch with me. Jimmy was jumping around like crazy, licking my face! Get got his dolphin toy for us to play with. Later, Buddy wandered over and pawed at my legs. He rubbed his face on my jeans as I gave him a long back rub. Everyone went out potty once more before bed.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda did a big stretch up against the wall when I got in. She was much more excited to play today since it wasn't raining out. She ran outside and grabbed her red bone that was laying on the patio. She began a game of tug with me right away! She fetched it for me a couple times, then went to lay in her spot by the fence. Later we headed inside and she got a nice back scratch before I left.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

The boys were happy to see me this evening. They both ran outside for a little bit while I got their dinner ready. They and Sugar all joined me in the kitchen to eat. Afterwards, they went back outside for a little bit since it was warm out. They came back in and Jimmy ran and got me his new reindeer toy to play with. He had fun fetching it again and again! He took a little break to snuggle with me and give me lots of kisses. Buddy was snuggled up on his bed by the window. Later, he went over by Charlie's cage and was sniffing around, eating bird seed. Charlie crawled down his ladder and joined Buddy! It was so cute! Everyone went back outside once more before bedtime, then got their yummy snack.

Wilma, Fezzik & Nikkos

Tonight the boys were just as excited to see me! They woo-wooed at me while I let them out, then danced circles around me to say hello. Wilma was too comfy napping on her bed to get up. She sat up and watched as I let the boys out, then decided to lay back down. Too wet outside! The boys raced over to one side of the yard and hung around by the fence. They came back to the patio to curl up. But soon they both stuck their heads up and took off again! I saw it was a little orange and white kitty in the next yard that was keeping them so entertained. They watched the kitty and barked at it a couple times. Neeky eventually came to lay on the patio again. Fezz wandered over to the back of the yard and stared out into the distance. It started to rain again, so Neeky wanted to go back inside. Fezz didn't mind at all, and even stayed out there for awhile. When he was ready, we all headed inside. For as wet as it was outside, they didn't get muddy at all. So it was a quick wipe of their paws before we went in. Wilma was still comfy snoozing away on her bed. She hadn't moved an inch. I went over to pet her for a little bit. Fezz kept busy chewing on different toys and rolling around with them. The boys spent a little time wrestling with each other. Later, Fezz crawled into his spot between the couches, head first. He's so silly!
