Daisy, Prissy & Ally

This morning Ally was in her usual spot, curled up on a dining room chair. I scratched her chin for awhile, then she stood up so I could get her back. After visiting with Ally for awhile, I went to search for Prissy. She was sitting in the corner behind the couch. She didn't want too much attention today, so I made my way up to see Daisy. Today she came running out of her cage! She sat by me briefly and let me pet her. Then she went on her way, exploring! She nudged her way through the cracked door into the other bedroom. Daisy got bored with that and came back into her room. She hopped around in her tunnel, then came to sit by me. She crawled around behind her cage and in the corner at the end of the bed. Daisy did a lot of hopping around today. She took a break yo give her face a bath! When it was time to go, I grabbed her bag of food. She stood up on her hind legs at my feet to see what I was up to! She went right in again and got working on her food. I said goodbye to the kitties on my way out.

Daisy, Prissy & Ally

This morning I went to go visit Daisy and the kitties. Prissy was curled up on a bench in the front room. She popped her head up as I came in the door and said hello. I visited with her for a few minutes, then went to look for Ally. She was snuggled up on the couch. She did a big stretch then met me halfway! Se enjoyed a little back scratching for a bit before I headed up to see Daisy. Daisy stood up on her hind legs to sniff at me while I opened up her cage. She sat in there for quite awhile at first. I put a treat at the base of her cage to entice her to come down. Soon after, she made her way out to see me! She came up and smelled me while I pet her. Then, she did some roaming around. She hopped around in her little cardboard cave, then over to the hall, and finally under the bed. She curled up in the corner for awhile, taking a break from her exploration. When it was time to go, I filled her food bowl and gave her a couple treats. As soon as I grabbed her food bag, she ran to my feet, then into her cage. She didn't even wait for the treats!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This evening Jimmy and Buddy came to say hi at the door as I came in! They quickly went potty and came back in since it was cold and rainy out. We got their yummy tatoes ready, and they got working on theirs before a sleepy little Sugar joined us! Charlie bird was having a blast climbing around his cage and looking at us, tilting his head from side to side. Then he'd go back in to get a bite to eat too! Sugar and Jimmy went out after dinner. Sugar disappeared back into her nice cozy warm bedroom. Jimmy came in and was racing around and around the living room! He got his little white teddy so we could play fetch. Buddy took this time to get a back scratch from me. Otherwise, Jimny would be hogging me to himself and wouldn't let him come up. Their pal little J and dad came in for a minute. So Jimmy started zooming around the living room with him! They said goodbye, then the pups got their bedtime treats before it was my turn to go too.

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

Tyler and Emma were excited to go outside this afternoon. Lacey was a naughty girl today... I found a little doggie pile when I came in. So while the food was being prepared, I got it all cleaned up. Lacey sat on the couch, ears flat and crouched down as small as she could make herself. I think she knew and felt bad! The big pups didn't stay out long since it was raining a little. But after they finished lunch, they still wanted to go back out. I took Lacey out back quick, then after a few minutes, they were ready to come in again. Luke came out and decided to be social today! After he said hi, the dogs started messing around, so he headed back to his room. Emma was so full of energy! She rolled over for a belly rub, then was pouncing down on the ground with her heiny in the air. She was playing with me, then Tyler, and Lacey too! Lacey can sure act tough like a big dog! It was so funny! Then they all settled down and the big pups gnawed on their bones.

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Kota and Benny were ready to go. It was raining out today, but was light enough for awhile that we were able to get a long walk in. Not too many of Benny's pals were out this afternoon, so when he finally heard someone bark hello, he got very excited! He started bouncing around right away. Kota was able to get very close to a couple birds today. So she and Benny would both make a run for it when they got close enough! Benny also tried pouncing on a wrapper from a plastic bottle. It was so windy out, that there were plenty of things blowing around that caught their eye! By the time we were getting close to home, the rain was starting to blow and come down a little harder. Right at the last corner, that pile of dirt had run all over the sidewalk, grass and street, so we all walked through a little mud. Kota and Benny waited patiently though, while I cleaned off their paws before heading inside.

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

This afternoon I let Tyler and Emma go outside as I got their lunch ready. Lacey stayed on her pillow on the couch until I let them back in. Then, I took her out potty. They finished their lunches, then Emma raced to the garage door, wanting to go back out. She and Tyler were goofing around on our way to the backyard! Lacey was waiting in the bedroom for me to come back in. Luke was curled up in his usual spot on the bed. Lacey and I snuggled up in the living room. She rolled over right away for her tummy rub and kept scootching closer! It was super windy out this afternoon, so the house was making creaking sounds. Every time she heard a sound, her ears perked up and her nose started working like crazy! She would sharply turn her head towards the direction she heard it. She got up with me to go get Tyler and Emma, who were ready to come back in.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I came in this afternoon and let all my little buddies out. We headed outside, where they all ran about. Jimmy went to the corner of the yard, laid down and enjoyed the warm sun shining on him. Sugar sat and stared at me excitedly! She ran around and found her own spot to relax. Buddy was doing his usual searching in corners and holes for little critters. They spent the afternoon outside again. This evening they came running to the fence to see who was home! Sugar ran, barking all the way to the back door to come inside. They all went in and waited in the kitchen for their yummy tatoes! Afterwards, we decided to go play outside some more. Jimmy ran along the fenceline with the neighbor dog. Buddy was busy back in the corner of the patio, crawling behind the storage box. Sugar just sat in the grass or did a little exploring in the nice warm evening air! When it was time we all headed inside for their treats. Then it was off to bed!

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

This afternoon Lacey was leading the pack at the door to see me! Tyler and Emma both playfully ran around, getting ready to go play outside. Lacey sat on the couch, curled up on a pillow while I got lunch ready. I visited with Luke while the food was cooling off. After the big pups came back in, Lacey and I went outside quick. She did her business, then looked up at me as if to ask if she could be done! I said "Ok!", then she ran to the door and waited with her tail wagging. They all finished their lunches, then the big kids were ready to go back out. Emma was being playful and crouched down on her front legs while I opened the door. She And Tyler galloped out and played by the fence with the horses again. Lacey wanted to stay in today, so she got a nice long tummy rub! Then she curled up in my lap until it was time to let Tyler and Emma back inside.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I let the pups out of their kennels this afternoon, then outside we went! They got another beautiful afternoon to enjoy outdoors. They went to their favorite side of the house to go lay and soak up some sun. This evening the pups were running around as I pulled in. We hung around outside for awhile yet since it was still so nice out. We headed inside to give the boys their meds. Afterwards, Sugar and Buddy ran to the door to go back out! They all played around some more out there. Jimmy picked up a toy and ran around with it, shaking it from side to side. He and I played fetch, while Buddy was searching and Sugar worked on some dinner. When it was time to go they lined up for their bedtime treats!

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR and Bootsie

This afternoon the pups all went racing out of their room to the back door. Once I caught up to them, Tizzy came running towards me, hopped up and did a slide across the top of the coffee table! They went running for their favorite tree. Chloe and JR both sat and stared up into the branches. I started talking to them, so then they all came running to say hi! Buckley was roaming around and later laid down in the cool shade under another tree. Tizzy went over to join him for a bit. A butterfly caught her eye, so she jumped up and bounced around, chasing after it! We heard the guys pull in, so I got the pups back in the house until they got back to working. They needed to cool down a bit anyways, so I got them a fresh bowl of water. As they were drinking, Bootsie decided to come out for some attention too! He hopped up on the kitchen table so I could reach him better. Then I noticed Chloe was sitting in the chair in the corner! Silly girl! Just as we were about to head back outside, daddy got home. Then they all got excited again!
