Maggie & Moe

The girls heard me coming and met me at the door. They hopped along with me all the way outside, saying hello. They each grabbed a rawhide on the way out and pranced around with it! Then it was time to chase each other around and around. Maggie found a good spot to lay down and chew on her bone. Miss Moe kept crouching down next to her trying to instigate some more chasing. Then suddenly they'd both spring up and zoom around as fast as they could! They got their treats when they came inside and both had some late night dinner. Maggie curled up next to me once she settled down. Miss Moe still wanted to play! She brought me her purple ball and we played some fetch. Later they decided to wrestle!

Luke & Maycie

Luke and Maycie heard me outside coming up to the house and started barking. They both jumped up by the gate to say hi! We went outside right away before Maycie got too excited. I couldn't find Luke's red ball tonight. He wanted to play fetch so bad! He kept circling around the yard looking for it, then would run up to me and cry like he thought I was hiding it! Eventually he found some sticks to play with and he zoomed around the yard for a bit. Then he and Maycie chased each other around to keep busy! Maycie started pulling sticks out from behind the little tree next to the patio and crunched on those. Luke found a plank of wood behind the dog house and they tried to get that from each other! Luke laid down and chewed on that for awhile. Maycie got a sudden burst of energy and ran back and forth across the yard as fast as she could!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning Morgan was right at the door again. He followed me around and did his "meh meh" sound. Toby had moved all the pillows around so he was snuggled in a little pocket of coziness! Tyson hopped up by the sink and meowed at me when I came over. I turned his water on, then grabbed Toby's jacket so we could go for a walk. As soon as I grabbed it he kept running around playing keep-away with himself! Instead I grabbed his leash and he was fine with that. He's so funny! After I got his coat on we went for a long walk. This afternoon Toby was sprawled out on the bed and rolled over for his quick belly rub. He got up and zoomed off to the living room. Tyson wanted his drink again so I got that running. Toby didn't want to go for a walk, so he played out in the backyard instead. Tonight Toby was a little sleepyhead! I went in and gave him his tummy run before going to turn the faucet on for Tyson. Usually he follows me out, but this time I had to go back and get him! He still didn't want to get up, until I grabbed his kitty! Then he chased me around the living room. He would shake it around, crouch down hanging onto it ready to run away from me, and even rolled around with it! After playing hard it was time for supper. He ate while I cleaned the litter boxes. Morgan decided to come help me. After Tyson was finished with his sink, he just curled up on the counter and cleaned his face. Toby went potty quick before bed and came in for a few more minutes of play time!

Buckwheat

This morning my little buddy came running out to see me! He hopped along down the hallway with me. After he went out potty he came back inside, excited for his treat. He knew what was coming next! His favorite! I hooked his leash up and he made a break for the front door. He stopped and looked at me to make sure I was bringing him this time I went out. He pranced happily down the driveway. He would stop every now and again to make sure I was still coming! This afternoon Buckwheat startled me! He was in a new spot next to the dresser, sitting up and wide awake! He popped right up and went to the kitchen to help me get his dinner ready. After dinner he did his business then came back in and danced around for some attention! Tonight Buckwheat was in his usual spot under the bed, snoozing away. I woke him up and he did a few big stretches on his way out. He wasn't ready to go potty yet, so we snuggled up in his chair. He ran over to me and stood up against the chair waiting for me to bring him up. He went potty quick before bedtime.

Mandy, Aeryn, Oscar and Izzy

The girls were barking “welcome back” as I turned the key this evening! It was so good to see Mandy and Aeryn again! A few, quick scratches for each girl and it was outside to go potty. While they were out, I filled their food bowl and gave them a fresh bowl of water. Aeryn barked to come back inside and both girls ran to their bowls. Mandy would take a few chunks of food and then bring it over to the carpet to eat; silly girl!
Mandy met me at the door tonight, as Aeryn stayed on the couch relaxing. I greeted each of them with some scratches and then went outside with them for a quick potty break! When we came back inside, both girls jumped up on the couch. Each enjoyed some scratches before I tucked them in for bed. Goodnight, see you both in the morning!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

Both kitties were sleeping on the back of a couch this afternoon. I pet Morgan and he started talking to me with his little half meows! I called for Toby but he was too comfy on his pillows to move. Once I came in to see him he hopped off the bed. Tyson and Morgan had both followed me into the bedroom to get Toby! He went outside to go potty quick, then it was time for a walk. I put his adorable little coat on and his heiny just sunk real low like, "What have you done to me?!". He even walked funny for a minute! As soon as we got out the door he forgot he even had it on. When we got home he sat by the tree and posed for a picture for me! Tyson was rolling around on the kitchen floor and Morgan had gone back to his nap on the couch. Tonight Morgan was right at the door to say hi before curling up in his spot on the couch again. Tyson saw me and made his way over to the kitchen sink to patiently wait for me. Toby was curled up in bed and rolled over for a tummy rub. After he went outside to go potty, he came in and ate his dinner. I turned the faucet on for Tyson and he had no problem crawling right in the sink and getting his head all wet! After dinner Toby spent some time sniffing at the other animal scents on me. He wasn't interested in playing with his toys, so we chased each other around the house. Sometimes he would run as fast as he could away from me, and others he would run right at me like playing Chicken! Then just before we'd meet, he would swerve around me. We settled down for a few minutes and he snuggled on the couch with me before bedtime.

Buckwheat

Buckwheat was sleeping so soundly on his bed this morning. He did big stretches all the way down the hall as he followed me. He got up and went potty while I got his meds and morning snack out. I accidently dropped a whole piece of the salami and he paused to look at it for a second as if to say, "Jackpot!". I got it before he did and he got his smaller pieces. Afterwards, we decided to go for a walk since it wasn't too chilly out! After he got his leash on he hopped happily all the way to the door. We snuggled in his chair for a bit when we got back home. He ran to the door with me again when I was leaving. He even let out a "Hey you forgot to bring me along!" bark after I had shut the door. He sure likes his walks! When I got him up for his dinner this afternoon, he did a couple big stretches as he came out from under the bed. He didn't want to brave the tile floor today and let me know! I picked him up and took him to the kitchen with me. After his dinner he roamed around outside for awhile. When he came back in he got a little friendly with his bed in the living room! Goofy boy! Tonight Buckwheat came stretching his way out from under the bed to see me. He didn't have to go potty right away, so we snuggled up in his chair for awhile. He had me rub his back, then his tummy while he cleaned his paws. He was pawing at my hand again tonight; so cute!

Buckwheat

This morning Buckwheat got up and was excited to see me as usual! He went potty then ran with me to the fridge to get his morning snack. Today was finally warmer out, so after he got his meds we decided to take a walk. He ran an bounced all the way to the door after I got his leash on. He was breathing heavy he was so excited! When we got back home we even had a few minutes to snuggle in his chair. When I leave he usually walks with me and stops at the hallway to watch me go. Today he ran all the way to the door with me. He thought we were going for another walk! This afternoon Buckwheat got up and was ready for his dinner. He pulled a bunch of his food out to get the good stuff like usual. Silly pup! He went potty and came in ready for a back scratch. He walked to the hallway with me and said goodbye til later. Tonight Buckwheat was snoozing on the floor right next to his bed. After I got him up he raced down the hall and barked at me, "Are you coming?!". He quick did his business outside for the evening. Buckwheat bounced happily along behind me as I went to turn on a light. Then he went to his chair and barked excitedly for his evening snuggle time! He curled up with me and got a nice long back scratching and even a tummy rub. He would sit up against the side of the arm rest so I could get his belly. Then, he was giving me high fives!

Ginger, Tiger, Scout and Scotch

Three cute little faces were peering out at me through the window when I arrived this morning. They greeted me with barks and wagging tails. The must have had a good sleep, as all three were stretching as I opened up the gate! Today, it was Tiger who lead the way to the door to go outside! All three ran around and went potty, but little Ginger was the first to head back to the door. I let her inside and stayed awhile long with Scout and Tiger. Finally, after greeting the neighbors, we headed back in for breakfast and a little morning treat! Scotch was roaming around and came over and sat in my lap to enjoy some scratches. Back inside, I sat down with the doggies and I took turns scratching each one! A fresh bowl of food and water brought my morning to an end! See you at lunchtime!
This afternoon, I was welcomed into the home with warm greetings from all three! Ginger led the pack to the door to go outside. Their friend, the squirrel, was out today, so we all ran around the back yard for a good portion of the afternoon. Ginger was ready to go inside after a little bit, so we decided it was maybe a little too chilly for a walk! They sure got in a lot of exercise, chasing their friend! The snack cupboard must have been calling their names, because all three ran to it as soon as they came inside! I checked on Scotch, who was enjoying a peaceful nap in the little bed by warm fan, so I just refilled the food dish and turned off the light! The doggies and I played for a little bit longer, but then it was time for me to go; enjoy your afternoon!

Ginger was the only one to greet me at the gate this evening, as both Tiger and Scout were still lounging in their beds. They finally got up and said hello! It took a little coaxing to get them outside, but finally all three joined me in the cool, evening air. Scout said hello to someone who was walking by, so both Tiger and Ginger had to check it out too! After potty time, it was back inside for dinner and a treat! All three gathered at the treat cupboard and anxiously waited to see what treat I picked for them! After a yummy snack, we all hung out by their beds. At one point, all three went over to the window and looked out, as if to see if Mommy was home yet. I reassured them she would be home very soon and gave them some extra scratches! Thanks for the good times!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny was running laps around the living room when I got there! I let them both out to play in the backyard. Kota gave me lots of hugs and kisses again while Benny ran circles around me carrying his ball. Shortly after, Kota went back to trying to get whatever is under the shed like yesterday! She sprang around in the air like a little deer! Benny and I played fetch a little bit, then he helped Kota. They both were sticking their noses underneath the shed with their heinies in the air! Later we went inside and chased each other around the living room. Benny got pooped out from all the chasing, so he curled up with me for a back scratch. Kota wanted one too!
