Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Kota was very talkative when I came to see them! She did her woo-woo at me while I got them ready for their walk. They hit the sidewalk running! Kota and Benny were busy exploring today, stopping to smell everything. Benny started barking at a new sign in someone's lawn that was flapping in the wind! He sure didn't like it waving at him. Benny has all kinds of new Christmas decorations in people's front yards to get used to. It was a very nice day out, so after our walk we spent a little extra time playing in the backyard. Benny didn't want to come in because he was having too much fun racing along the fence with the neighbor dogs!

Ginger, Tiger, Scout and Scotch

The gang heard the key unlocking the door and greeted me at the door with wagging tails! We went outside and enjoyed the crisp, evening air. Ginger and Scout did their job fast and ran back to the the door. Both were ready to go in, so I opened the door and let them in. Tiger lingered awhile outside and finally was ready to come back in. As soon as I opened the door, Tiger ran to the cupboard, sat down and looked at me as if to say, "OK, we are ready for our treat now"! I gave them each a treat, but in the end, I believe Ginger at hers and most of Tiger and Scouts treat too! We played in the kitchen for awhile, but then each went and took their place on the pillows and settled in for the night! Thanks for the fun night! See you soon!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Kota was telling me all about how she was ready for her walk! Benny stood with his front paws against my legs while I got them both hooked up and ready to go. He was super excited, running and barking as soon as we got out the door! On our long walk we passed a group of people outside who were just admiring at how cute Kota and Benny were. Benny's friends were all very talkative again today. That even got Kota excited when we passed by, so she'd start pulling as she bounced around with Benny. Benny was pretty tired by the time we were finishing up!

Dakota & Benny

Even after running around all morning, Kota & Benny were ready for their walk this afternoon! It got pretty nice out again today, so we went for our long walk. All Benny's friends were outside this afternoon. I think he was bragging to them about his adventure this morning, because they were all barking much more and louder than normal! We passed the house that they came out from behind this morning. There was a gate, but it was open and the backyard was actually open to a huge field behind all the houses. So they must have had a blast back there!

Buddy, Canshe, A/C & Angel

This morning A/C was ready for her attention! She let out a little meow and started rolling around on the floor. Canshe was sleeping soundly when I came in. She woke up when I pet her and meowed at me. She didn't get up from her comfy bed until she heard me open a container of food. After breakfast Buddy and I took a nice long walk. It was the nicest morning yet! He was so happy-go-lucky again today. He was running and prancing around! He would lag behind to check something out, then zoom past me as far as he could. He sure likes his morning walks! Tonight I found A/C all curled up on top of the couch. She came down as soon as I opened the gate. Buddy came out when I was feeding the kitties their supper. "Are we going for our walk now? I'm ready!" I grabbed his leash and collar. He almost came right up to me, but then he thought about it and went back to his hiding spot. But, this time he came right out for me! It was super windy out this evening and it scared him at first. Soon after he was back to his usual self, running about! When we got home I fed him supper. Tonight he wasn't shy and came right out to eat, even if I was in the kitchen! The kitties had finished off their yummy food before Buddy and I got back from our walk. I don't think Angel got any tonight! She was curled up under the couch as usual. I spent a little time with A/C and Canshe before it was time to go.

Charlie

Charlie was sitting in the closet this morning, meowing "hello" to me as I came in. He followed me to put the paper in the kitchen, then wove himself in and out between my legs as we made our way to his room! I picked him up and held him like a little baby. He rubbed his face on mine and snuggled until he was ready to play! I swung his string toy above him while he laid on his back and batted at it. Then, he ran circles around me and did his somersaults trying to catch it! I fed him breakfast before it was time to go. I'm going to miss our snuggle time!

Buddy, Canshe, A/C & Angel

This morning Canshe was up and ready for her breakfast. A/C was already waiting by the gate for hers too! I gave them their food and pet them both for a little while. Canshe hopped down from the table after she finished the little bit of food with her meds. I picked her up and put her by her plate with more just before Buddy and I left for our walk. It was already getting to be nice out so we took an even longer walk this morning. Buddy was just as happy as could be, prancing around with his tail wagging in the air. Tonight Buddy was sitting on the steps watching me curiously as I came inside. I fed Canshe and the other girls their dinner. A/C was waiting again by the gate for her attention! She started purring right away and rolling around when I came to pet her. I checked on Angel and she was curled up under her couch as usual. Next, Buddy and I took our walk this evening. It was still pretty nice out, so we got a pretty long walk in again. He looked for his puppy dog friends as we passed their house, but they weren't out tonight. When we got home I fed Buddy and cleaned litter pans. Then, I pet Canshe and A/C a little longer. They're both so sweet!

Prissy & Ally

Today I noticed someone had gotten sick in the dining room, so I got that cleaned up right away. I looked around for the girls, who must have been walking circles with me! I found them in the living room where I had just looked. They wandered into the front room by the piano so I followed. Both girls had made themselves comfortable in a bright sunny spot. I came to sit with them and Ally wasted no time to come get her attention! She was loving me up and purring away. I raised my hand above her a little ways. She'd sit on her hind legs, grab my hand with her front paws and pull it under her chin. It was so cute!

Zeus, Baxter & Zelda

Zelda was ready to head out again this morning. She ran out as the garage was opening. But this time she stopped to do a few big stretches and get a little attention. It was an even nicer morning out for the boys to go play. They did a little exploring, then came over by me for awhile. They wrestled around with each other and me! They helped themselves to rubbing their heads on me to get those itchy ears. It was hilarious! They got to spend another really nice day outside. Tonight I saw Zelda running into the garage as I pulled in the driveway. The boys stood by the gate to see who was home. Zelda let out such a loud meow when I came to see her! I pet her for a little while before letting the boys in for the night. She wanted to come in too! I let the boys in but they couldn't decide if they wanted to stay in or out! They went back and forth a few times before finally staying in. Then they were ready for their ear rubs! They got so excited. After they both ate their supper they started wrestling around again. As I was leaving I shut off the lights and little miss Zelda snuck in on me! I had to go get her and take her back to her spot in the garage. Silly girl!

Charlie

This morning Charlie and I got our snuggle time in. Then, we did a bunch of playing! I flicked some of his ball toys down the hallway while he zoomed after them. Later we played with his little guy on the string. I had him tearing around in circles all around me! He's so quick! He would do somersaults in the air to snatch it and wrestle it to the ground. We had so much fun with that this morning that we played with it again this evening. First I cleaned out his litter box when I got there. Charlie was helping me out and even giving me some attention! He kept meowing at me and rubbing up against my back until I finished. Then we got right to playtime! Before I left I fed him his canned food treat. He followed me in the kitchen and ran ahead to his spot in the bathroom, while never taking his eye off his plate! He's so funny!
