This morning the girls were both excited when I came in. Who is it this time? Haha. I let them out back while I got their breakfast ready. Sadie was ready to come in. Gracie was still doing her business. She came in when she was ready. Gracie wasn't too interested in her food this morning. She picked at it a little, but then wandered off to the living room. I guess she was done! I let Sadie out and we headed outside. It was a beautiful morning! Lots of other pups were outside this morning enjoying the weather too. That kept the girls busy racing around the yard to say hi and see what the others were up to. This afternoon I came in and only saw Gracie in the hall. I looked in the office and didn't see Sadie there either. I finally heard her getting up. She was snoozing in the dining room behind the table. The girls came outside with me and spent some time lounging around. They had the right idea. Both girls found a cozy spot in the grass to relax and soak up some sun. Gorgeous day! This evening Sadie and Gracie were both ready to see me. They went out potty and came back in for dinner. Both ate well. After dinner, we went out back to relax. It was pretty quiet out in the neighborhood tonight. Sadie laid on the patio near me, so she could get her pets. Gracie sat closeby, but in the grass. Occasionally she'd get up and wander off to sniff at something. When it was time, we headed in and got them their snacks. They did great!

Gracie & Sadie
It was a typical day today. I came in and Sadie greeted me with her hugs. We headed out back for a quick potty break. The girls came back in and ate their breakfast. Both ate well. After breakfast, we went outside to enjoy the beautiful morning. It was much cooler out there today. The girls relaxed and lounged on the patio. Gracie would get up and make her way around the yard, sniffing around at things. This afternoon it had gotten much warmer, but was much more comfortable than it had been this week. The girls had some entertainment outside this afternoon. They were busy racing from one side of the yard to the other to check out sounds or say hi to neighbor dogs. This evening I came in and no one came to meet me. Gracie was standing down the hall, ready to head out back. I was wondering where Sadie was, then saw she was snoozing away in her bed in the office. She woke up by now and was ready for her potty break. The girls came in and both ate their dinners for me. After that, we went back outside to hang out. They were watching for birds and squirrels tonight. Lots of sounds in the area kept them busy racing around to check it out.
Rusty, Ruby & the gang
This morning I let Miss Ruby out and she ran ahead to her bowl. She stuck her nose in the container ans supervised to make sure I got the right amount of food out for her. Haha. Rusty was still snoozing. Ruby and I headed out while she did her thing. Rusty came out later and took his potty break next. I fed Salem and gave her her meds, while Sheba was busy following me around and meowing at me. The turtles got their tomato breakfast this morning and their heat lamp turned on. Sheba and I got a few minutes of playtime in before it was Rusty's turn. He was outside waiting with his ball. Ruby came back out with us since it was a nice cool morning. This afternoon was much more comfortable than it had been all week. The llamas were laying in the shade, so I turned their mister on for them. Ruby did her business, then the pups lounged around outside. Rusty had to do his grass roll of course. Sheba was waiting for me to come play. She had fun chasing her mouse toy around. She hopped up in my lap for some pets as well. Back outside, Rusty had found the tiny piece of purple ball that he had left and wanted to play with that. Haha. This evening Ruby heard me come in and she lined up at her dish. Rusty was too comfy in his chair. She and I went outside to turn off the mister and get her potty break in. Rusty came outside as well. I went back in to check on Salem and feed her her dinner. Sheba got her playtime and then Rusty got his. Everyone is doing great!

Rusty, Ruby & the gang
This morning I let Ruby out and she ran to her bowl for breakfast. After she finished, she and I went out for her potty break. Rusty must have still been sleeping. Eventually he came out to join us. I went in to feed the girls and the turtles. Salem got her medicine. Sheba was following me around and putting her evil ears on. (See photo haha) I think she was upset that we weren't playing yet. Haha. Every time I went into a different room, I'd hear her race from one end of the hall to another. Crazy cat. She got her mouse time in. She would jump up in the air to pounce on it. She was cracking me up. I went back outside to play with Rusty next. This afternoon the pups came out and lounged in the grass to sunbathe. Ruby snuck back in on me while I was turning the mister on. I made her come back out to do her thing. She sure had some energy to burn! She started zooming around and around the yard, and even leapt over Rusty! Haha. I noticed Justin was hogging all the cool misty water. He was standing directly in front of it, blocking the other two that were lounging nearby. I went inside to play with Sheba a bit. I found Salem napping on the doggie bed too. After I visited the kitties, it was fetch time for Rusty. This evening Ruby came bouncing over to her food dish. She gobbled it up, then it was time to head out. It took her some convincing, then she finally went potty for me. After she did her thing, I fed the llamas and refilled their electrolyte bucket. Salem got her dinner and Sheba got some playtime. Rusty waited at the door for me for his turn. Ruby was a good girl and went right to bed when it was time. She of course got her bedtime snacks too.
Gracie & Sadie
This morning Sadie was excited to greet me. I let the girls out back for their first potty break. After they did their business, it was time to come in and eat. I let Sadie into the garage for her breakfast. I heard her paw at the door to tell me she was finished. Gracie was hesitant to eat, but she did after a little coaxing. Both girls ate all their food for me. We headed back outside to enjoy the morning. The girls just lounged. Lazy morning. This afternoon I was greeted with a big hug again when I came in. Haha. The girls followed me outside and we spent the whole time out back. Gracie was off roaming around and checking things out in the yard. Sadie laid near me, relaxing. She'd get up and help Gracie explore now and again. But, she'd always come back for some pets. This evening I came in and Sadie did great! She didn't even try to jump up. (We've been trying to work on it.) It could be that I'm just old news now. "Oh, just you again." Haha! The girls went potty while I got their dinners ready. They came in and both ate well. After dinner, Sadie led the way and we headed back outside. It had rained a little earlier, so it had cooled off a bit, making for a beautiful evening. The girls and I sat out back to enjoy it. Both girls were busy checking things out. They had to run over and say hi to the neighbor dogs too. When it was time, we headed in and they got their bedtime snacks.

Gracie & Sadie
This afternoon I was greeted with big puppy dog hugs! Haha. Sadie was just a little excited. The girls followed me and we headed out back. They both came over for some pets at first. Eventually, the girls wandered off to go explore. It was pretty hot out this afternoon, so it wasn't long before they retired to the porch to lounge. This evening I came in and Sadie was trying to give me hugs again. Haha. I tried to distract her so she wouldn't. I let them out back to potty, while I got their dinners ready. When they came in, they were ready to eat! I put Sadie out in the garage until Gracie was finished. They both ate well for me. After dinner, we headed back outside. They roamed around a lot more this evening. We had a small storm come through a little bit before I came, so things cooled down some. Sadie got pretty excited when a runner came down the path. Haha. When it was time, we headed in and I gave them each a bedtime snack.
Noell & Navi
This morning Navi met me in the kitchen. I went out back to water the plants and Noell was hanging out on the patio. She rolled around and stretched her paws out at me. She got a few pets before I went out. The girls waited while I got their breakfast ready. Then, Navi helped me scoop their box. She was ready to use it as soon as I finished. Haha. Back at our spot, the girls came over for some pets. I grabbed their mouse toy and we played with that for a bit. They both grew bored with that pretty quick. I got the laser light out and they both ran some laps. I think we woke someone up too. Oops!
Rusty, Ruby & the gang
This morning I let Ruby out and Rusty joined us in the kitchen. He got his pill and Ruby ate, while Rusty then ventured outside. I put his food up so a certain someone won't get it. Haha. I went out with Ruby to make sure she took care of business. While they messed around outside I filled the electrolyte tank up with fresh water. Inside, I found Salem sitting on the guest bed. She must have known I was coming soon. She seemed to be waiting for me. Haha! I gave her some pets, then got the turtles their water and tomato breakfast. I called Salem when it was her turn. She followed me and went to her spot for her food and meds. This morning Sheba and I played with her mouse toy instead of the laser. She was having a blast with that! She would tackle it and tumble around. Rusty was waiting by the door for me to come out and play. It was a beautiful cooler morning for it. This afternoon the humidity made it hot out again. I turned the mister on and had the pups come out to potty. Sheba and Rusty each got their play times in. This evening Ruby was bouncing around as usual. She got her food and promptly licked her bowl clean. Rusty was going to wait again until later. Ruby took a little convincing to do her business tonight, but eventually she did. She kept trying to run back to the patio, but I kept on her. Haha! The big kids got dinner, then I went in to feed Salem. She got some pets, then I saw Sheba was staring at me, waiting. Goofy girl. We played with her mouse toy again. Then, it was Rusty's turn. A small storm had just passed through, so that cooled things off a little for us. When it was time, I went inside. Ruby is such a good girl!! I didn't even have to say anything, she just knew it was bedtime and wandered into her bed on her own.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang
This morning I let Ruby out and she was racing around the house, all excited to eat. Rusty came and got his pill and worked on his food as well. When they finished, we made our way out back. Ruby was full of energy this morning, bouncing around like a little baby deer! Just having a blast! Haha. I topped off the water tank while the pups did their business. Sheba followed down the hall and waited in her spot for breakfast to be delivered. I found Salem lounging on the guest bed. I carried her into the bedroom to her spot to feed her and give her meds as well. The turtles got their sticks and fresh water. I turned their light on for them so they can bask away in the "sunshine". Haha. Sheba was now following me around again, desperately trying to get my attention. We played for a bit before I went out to play some fetch with Rusty. This afternoon the humidity returned, so I turned the mister on for the llamas. They enjoyed that. I went in to get Ruby, then had them come out to do their thing. Sheba got a little play time, then I went back out again. Rusty was at the back door, just waiting for me to come play. He got a few throws in before he was pooped from the heat. Time to head in and cool off. This evening Ruby came running, as usual. Time to eat! Rusty wasn't interested at the moment, he was ready to play. So, if put his food up for now and will put it down after Ruby is in bed. I got the llamas their dinner and they all came racing. Chloe was curious and gave my head a sniff while I dumped the water out of her bowl from the rain this morning. Haha. Rusty and I got our fetch time in before bed. I tucked Ruby in and fed the kitties as well.
Noell & Navi
This morning Navi was first to come greet me. Just in case I forgot, she showed me where her empty dishes were. Haha! She waited in the kitchen while I got their breakfast ready. Noell was just hanging out in the living room. I scooped their box quick, then met them at our spot. I grabbed out their fishy toy and both girls were chasing after it. We tried to be quiet, but their tags were jingling away. Haha! Oops! Noell got bored with the fishy, so I got out the laser light. She ran a few laps, then disappeared down the hall. Navi took her turn chasing the dot next. After awhile, she went and sat in the front window to check out the neighborhood.
