This morning I let Ruby out and Rusty joined us in the kitchen. He got his pill and Ruby ate, while Rusty then ventured outside. I put his food up so a certain someone won't get it. Haha. I went out with Ruby to make sure she took care of business. While they messed around outside I filled the electrolyte tank up with fresh water. Inside, I found Salem sitting on the guest bed. She must have known I was coming soon. She seemed to be waiting for me. Haha! I gave her some pets, then got the turtles their water and tomato breakfast. I called Salem when it was her turn. She followed me and went to her spot for her food and meds. This morning Sheba and I played with her mouse toy instead of the laser. She was having a blast with that! She would tackle it and tumble around. Rusty was waiting by the door for me to come out and play. It was a beautiful cooler morning for it. This afternoon the humidity made it hot out again. I turned the mister on and had the pups come out to potty. Sheba and Rusty each got their play times in. This evening Ruby was bouncing around as usual. She got her food and promptly licked her bowl clean. Rusty was going to wait again until later. Ruby took a little convincing to do her business tonight, but eventually she did. She kept trying to run back to the patio, but I kept on her. Haha! The big kids got dinner, then I went in to feed Salem. She got some pets, then I saw Sheba was staring at me, waiting. Goofy girl. We played with her mouse toy again. Then, it was Rusty's turn. A small storm had just passed through, so that cooled things off a little for us. When it was time, I went inside. Ruby is such a good girl!! I didn't even have to say anything, she just knew it was bedtime and wandered into her bed on her own.
