Tank & CJ

This morning I didn't see the puppy dogs at first. I made my way inside and still didn't see them, so I started to get worried. When I got to the garage I saw them through the window, standing at the gate watching for me! That made me laugh. Finally they heard me calling and came bounding in to see me. Tank did his silly "howrooroo" at me! We sat outside for a little while, then went in for breakfast. CJ ate well again while Tank got his belly rubbed, then they switched. This evening the pups lined up for their hot dogs, and Tank was talking away! Afterwards they ran ahead of me to the garage. Tank plopped down on my lap wanting his belly rubbed. CJ came over for a hug and was busy giving both of us lots of kisses! Tonight I noticed they had worked on some food after I left this morning. CJ kept wandering back outside to check something out. Then, Tank would join, then they would race back in for attention. When it was time I gave them the last chicken treats from the first bag.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda got to go outside and get her business done before any rain came. The dark clouds were rolling in fast, so I thought for sure we'd see some. But she got lucky today! Miranda made sure to bring out her black Frisbee again. We played tug with it for quite awhile until she got tired and went to lay in the grass. When it was time she came inside and I made sure to go grab her toys for her since she forgot them.

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon the three little ones went outside when I arrived. Roxy ran around and found a green kong stick toy to play fetch with. She even played a little tug with me when she was passing it off for me to throw. She got to play fetch all by herself for quite awhile since Biscuit was busy exploring the yard with Dilly. Later Dilly came and sat on my lap for awhile. Then, Dilly decided to play tug of war with Roxy for a little bit! The three of them seemed to sense the bad weather coming. They each just stood and stared off into the distance, listening and smelling the air. Before we went in, Roxy was tricking Biscuit as he was joining in her game, by bringing me a new toy to throw for him instead, then quickly running over to me the one she wanted. So silly! Miss Bert got to go outside for awhile next. She did her cute little heiny dance while she excitedly carried out a little hedgehog toy.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This morning the storms hadn't rolled in yet, so we spent some time outside. They came in and out a few times before breakfast. Once they got in they were some very thirsty puppies! All three were drinking out of the bowl at the same time, the boys even right next to each other! After breakfast and their meds, Sugar came and snuggled up in my lap on the couch for a bit. This evening it had started raining, so the pups were all back in as fast as they could! Jimmy played around with his little squeaker toy and snuggled with me until dinner. Sugar and Buddy worked on eating some dry food. After they all got their evening meds, they went back outside for a few minutes.

Tank & CJ

This morning Tank and CJ were ready for me. They sat nicely for their yummy hot dog treats. We sat outside and they got pet for a bit. Then, it was time for breakfast. They took turns as usual, one eating Tank's food while the other got loved on. CJ ate really well this morning since Tank was busy rolling around getting his tummy rubbed! They each got their chicken treat and ran off to enjoy it before I left. This evening it had started raining out, so we spent most of our time in the garage. They got their hot dogs, then I got them their canned food snack. Tank made sure to lick both plates clean. Afterwards, they took turns eating the kibble. CJ rolled around on the rug and pillows, being a silly girl. Then Tank plopped over at my feet for his tummy scratching. They were both so snuggly tonight and gave me lots of hugs and kisses!

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda peeked around the door at me as I opened it. Today she excitedly grabbed her black Frisbee to bring outside! We played some tug of war with it. Then, she went and laid in the back of the yard. If I got close to try and throw it for her, she'd quickly grab it so I couldn't! So, I found another toy to throw to trick her into leaving it for me. After I threw her Frisbee she ran and leapt to catch it. She wanted to stay outside and enjoy the beautiful day, but soon she came right in for me.

Sarge

I said hi to Sarge when I got inside, then let him out of his bed. I guess he thought someone came with me, because he kept looking back at the door and howling! I told him it was just me, then he relaxed and followed me out the door. As soon as we got outside he gave me tons of kisses! Next he laid on the patio for a few minutes to soak up some of the warm sunshine. He made me laugh when he was watching a fly, following it with his head moving in circles! When he hopped down off the porch to go potty, we saw a frog hopping around. That got Sarge excited! He followed it until it went to hide under the porch. Soon it was time to head in. Sarge was such a good boy and went right into his bed without me saying a word!

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon the gang was happy to see me as usual! Dilly bounced along with us to the back door. Dilly hopped up on my lap for awhile, as the other two were busy exploring. Then, all three raced off to the front of the yard. The neighbor Chihuahua was outside playing with a squeaky toy! Soon it was Bert's turn outside. She mostly wandered around the yard smelling around. Later she came and sat with me for awhile and pawed at me for me to pet her.

Tank & CJ

This morning the pups both ran outside to greet me. Once I got inside, they lined up for their hot dog snacks. We headed out back to sit outside and enjoy the warm morning. Tank and CJ both sat at my feet snuggling me while I pet them. After awhile we went to the garage so they could eat. Tank actually ate quite a bit for me. Then, he rolled over on my feet for a belly rub while CJ was nibbling on the food. She kept going back and forth between outside and the garage. They crunched on their chicken snacks before I left. This evening I was met with happily wagging tails in the kitchen. We headed outside for awhile at first. We could hear geese and what I thought was a peacock calling in the distance. Someone was shooting nearby and CJ seemed a little nervous, so we went in and I got them their hot dogs. Next we went to sit in the garage. Tank worked on his dinner while CJ sat between my legs and got pet, while giving me kisses in return.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This morning I came in and let everyone go potty quick before they got their meds. The boys got the rice while Sugar worked on some chicken. I put Charlie back in bed and forgot to check the clothes pins, so he snuck right back out on me! After breakfast we all went outside for awhile since it was already so warm out. Jimmy had fun chasing after a fly! Buddy was off searching for critters and Sugar came and relaxed on her bed. I got them each a bowl of food to work on in their beds since Buddy was guarding the food this morning. This evening we went outside for a little while before med time. After they finished eating I got them each an egg white. Sugar was quite the bouncy little girl when we got back outside! They all ran to see the neighbor and their dog playing outside.
