Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

Today Biscuit was a talkative little boy! He kept singing to me as we made our way outside. Dilly was bouncy bouncy as usual! She came over and gave me a ton of kisses. Eventually, she and Biscuit wandered off to go play. It was gorgeous out today! All three pups spent most of their time exploring around the yard. When it was Roxy's turn, she came out and started searching for a ball for us to play with. She even took a break from fetch today to wander around a bit too. When it was time, we headed in and got them some water and a treat. I'm amazed every time at Bert's hearing! Even in her room, she can hear the treat bag! She can hear it even if I'm being super quiet... I don't know how she knows!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon I let everyone out of their beds. Jimmy ran right over to Buddy's cage to taunt him, since he still had a treat he was hanging onto! Meanwhile, Sugar had gone outside right away. Buddy carefully brought his snack outside and quickly ate it before Jimmy could get it. Jimmy and Sugar sprawled out in the sun for awhile. Buddy wandered over to say hi to the neighbor puppy, then went on with his exploring. I let the pups have roam of the house this afternoon. This evening the boys were right at the door to greet me. Everyone went outside and we stayed out there awhile since it was so nice out! Jimmy ran along the fence with the neighbor dog at the back of the house for awhile. Soon we went back in and got their meds. I had to separate the food bowls tonight since Buddy was not happy at the very sight of Jimmy anywhere near him! They both worked on some dinner. Sugar sat in the kitchen, patiently waiting for her snack!

Buddy and Jimmy were dancing around the door when I arrived this evening. Buddy started barking, running for the backdoor so I would let them out. Sugar didn't come out until after I broke out the potatoes. She heard dishes clinking and knew what time it was. After the boys took their meds, Sugar ran to the backdoor, ready to go outside now. Jimmy went with her. Buddy stayed inside so he could grab a bite to eat. Once they came back, I sat in the kitchen with them for awhile. Jimmy curled up on my lap and fell asleep.

Baxter & Bubba

When I arrived today, Baxter was snoozing in the living room. He stretched and wagged his tail excitedly while saying hello. He followed me to the kitchen where I got his food ready. He was dancing in place, so eager to eat. He nearly inhaled his can of food. I went to fill up Bubba's food dish, came back, and Baxter's soft food had disappeared. He was licking his chops like "What? It was good." I sat with him in the living room for the majority of the rest of our time. As I was leaving, I open the front door, and there's Bubba. He meowed a hello at me and walked inside. I told him it was nice of him to join us. That made me laugh.

Frankie

This evening Frankie ran out of the hallway to see who was home. She saw me and quickly ran over, wagging her tail like crazy. I slipped on her collar and we headed out. She went potty for me right away, she even went a few times. I let her sniff around the grass a bit for fun. I know she likes to explore. We finally headed back in. I gave her a little piece of cheese and she inhaled it, then stared at me waiting for more. I couldn't help, but laugh. After that she sat by me for awhile, soaking up as much attention as she could.

Today the pups ran outside with me. Dilly bounced up and down and right into my lap for a bit! Biscuit came over to be pet too, then the two of them ran off to go play. Dilly kept sticking her nose under the shed to look around. Bert wandered around too, then came over to snuggle me. She happily went into her room and got a snack while it was Roxy's turn to come out. Biscuit kept getting the ball today when we were playing fetch. So, Roxy would wait until just the right moment, when he wasn't quite paying attention, to steal it! Then, she would run it over for me to throw again. If Biscuit wasn't putting the ball down, Roxy spent her time sniffing around instead. Dilly kept herself busy investigating around the yard. They all ran in when it was time and got their snacks.

Zeus, Zena & Baby

This afternoon the pups let out a couple barks as I made my way in to let them out. Zeus gave me a great big hug once we got outside. Zeus and Zena joined Baby for another gorgeous day to play outside! Baby spent most of his time lounging around again, sometimes in the sun and others in the shade. Zeus wandered around and explored. I threw a ball and kong around for him a little, but he would only run over to smell it, then would come bouncing back over by me. Zena got out a couple times to go stick her nose through the little hole in the fence, to try and sniff at the neighbor dog. They had lots of time to soak up the warm sunshine before we headed back in.

This afternoon Dilly was bouncing and Bert was prancing around with a pink toy in her mouth. It was another perfect day to play outside. Biscuit and Dilly were obsess with sniffing at my pant legs today! I couldn't stop laughing. Finally they ran off to play for awhile. Bert, Biscuit and I played a short game of fetch with the pink toy that Bert brought outside. Then we headed in to let Roxy out for awhile. The door blew open, then Roxy ran back inside quick to grab a tennis ball. Today all three went racing after the ball together when I'd throw it! They each did a little exploring too, before we headed back inside.

This afternoon was just perfect out! The pups and I headed outside right away. Everyone immediately curled up on the grass to lounge in the sun. Buddy even got a little warm, so he came to snuggle me for a little bit before he moved into the shade. This evening the puppies were gathered behind the door, waiting to see who arrived. They started bouncing around my feet as I made my way inside. They knew the drill, and raced to the backdoor so they could go outside for a bit. They didn't stay out for too long strangely, even though it was really nice out. They just took care of their business then wanted back inside for their potatoes. They sat behind me, wagging their tails like crazy while I warmed up the taters. They ate them up, then took turns getting a little bit of their own food. Jimmy was all for snuggling afterwards. Buddy actually joined us for a little too. Sugar curled up by the master bedroom, in her usual spot. Then when it was treat time, they got crazy excited again and raced to bed.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda peeked out the door as I was coming in. She danced around in a little circle as I scratched her back for a minute. We headed outside and Miranda made sure to bring her red toy along with us. She went and did her business, then plopped down in the shade for awhile. Eventually she came running over for a little attention before it was time to head back inside.
