Jezebel & Biscuit

This afternoon both pups greeted me at the door with barks of excitement. Jezebel immediately ran and grabbed her nearest toy, and brought it to me. We all headed outside to enjoy the gorgeous weather. At first Jezebel wouldn't leave my side. It was like she was permanently attached to me at the hip, she was so cute! She kept jumping up and wanting hugs. Biscuit would get jealous and do the same, running over to join us. I sat down for a bit while they ran over to the far corner of the yard, sniffing around. Then they came back over by me for more attention before heading back in.

Jimmy, Sugar, Buddy & Charlie

This morning all three pups met me at the door. Jimmy was jumping up at me happily. I let them all outside so they could get some fresh air. It was so nice out, the three of them just curled up in the grass and sunbathed beside me. Then the puppy next door gave Jimmy a workout, racing him along the fence. He came back over by me when he was tired, and gave me kisses. This evening when I arrived Buddy came running to see me. He kept coughing every now and then, but usually just when he got really excited. Poor baby. I let the babies outside before they took their meds. Afterwards, Sugar started scratching on the door and apparently wanted to go back out. Jimmy and Buddy followed her lead. They all went potty again and came back by me a minute or two later. We went inside then Buddy and Jimmy started eating a little bit. A few minutes later it was bedtime and they all bolted for bed.

Miranda

As soon as arrived, Miranda jumped up and quickly said hello. She ran and dug out a toy from under the couch and went to the backdoor. We went outside and played fetch. She was so cute, she had such a big grin on her face while racing after each toy. Then she came and sat down by me for a nice back scratch before going in for a drink.

Oliver & May

Oliver and May met me at the door this morning with such huge grins. We said our hellos, then they followed me around as I prepared their breakfast. Oliver finished before May for the first time. Then he followed me to the kitchen so we could get his piece of cheese. May went straight outside once she finished. Oliver followed. We actually spent most of the morning sitting outside in the sun. It was really relaxing, they both looked like they were going to fall asleep. This afternoon the pups and I played outside again. Oliver was so excited, he kept charging me and jumping up for a huge hug! The golden retriever next door was sitting in the hole under the fence watching us all play. May and Oliver occasionally went to go say hi to him. Then I played fetch with Oliver for a bit while May wandered around, rolling time and time again, getting completely covered in grass. This evening the pups were so happy to see me, they were right at my heels as soon as I was in the door. They practically inhaled their supper, then both of them made for the living room. They both curled up on one of the chairs and took naps. They seemed pretty worn out. I think they were playing a lot today. Their were toys scattered all over the living room floor.

Baxter & Bubba

This morning I spotted Baxter all curled up on his doggie bed in the living room. He woke up as soon as I came in, then he came over to see me with his tail wagging. He didn't eat much while I was gone, but I topped off his food bowl anyways. Next I got Bubba's food out. I looked down and there he was looking up at me. He had eaten all of his food. While Bubba ate, I sat with Baxter so he would eat for me too. When he was done, he just sat right by my feet, wanting some attention. Then Bubba wandered over. I kept reaching down and petting him and Baxter would get jealous and try to scare him off. Then Bubba started playing in his litter box. It was so funny! He was swatting at the litter and quickly jumping out of the box. I was laughing so hard!

Oliver & May

This morning the pups met me at the door sleepily. Oliver gave me a slobbery smooch when I bent down to pet May. First I got out their breakfast for them. May ate hers up instantly. Oliver wanted to wait a few minutes. I put his food out again and he finally got to it. May was right there vacuuming up all his dropped kibbles. Once he was done, I gave him his cheese. He ate it in one bite. This afternoon, I was surprised the pups didn't jump me at the door like usual. I found May sleeping in the computer room on a puppy bed, and Oliver came out of the hallway. I sat down on the couch and Oliver jumped up with his upper torso on top of me, sniffing my face and hair. I was cracking up! When he was bored with that, he wandered off outside. Then May took his spot and climbed up on the couch next to me. Oliver spent most of the time outside after that, barking at random people walking by. This evening the pups ran to greet me at the door, barking and wagging their tails excitedly. They followed me straight to the kitchen, then to the pantry so I could fill up their food bowls. They were pretty anxious to eat their dinner. They gobbled up their food in a minute, then May went and got a really long drink. Oliver was pretty paranoid the rest of the night. He kept randomly running to the window and barking at the darkness. May would look at me like "What's he doing?" Eventually he scuttled away and crawled on the bed. Meanwhile May kept me company in the living room.

Baxter & Bubba

This morning when I arrived, I didn't see either Baxter or Bubba right away. I figured they were outside or in the bedroom. First I started filling Bubba's food, then all of the sudden I see a little orange head peeking around the corner. Bubba heard food, and apparently he was hungry. I set up his food for him and he hopped up and started chowing down while I took care of his litter. Then Baxter wandered out of the bedroom to say hello. I gave him a big hug and he wagged his cute little tail. After that I sat with him while he ate a little bit. He kept turning to me and making sure I was still there, then he would go back to eating. Once he was done, I checked on Bubba. He hopped down and started rubbing up on my pants and meowing at me. I gave him a little attention before sitting down with Baxter in the living room. Then before I left, I gave Baxter a yummy treat.

Oliver & May

This morning when I arrived, Oliver jumped up on the window, barking to say hello. I squeezed my way through the door and said hello back to both of them, giving them hugs and kisses. I gave them their breakfast first. May ate hers all up right away. Oliver took small bites, so it took him a little longer. Once he was done, I gave him a yummy cheese treat with his medicine secretly hidden inside. He gobbled it right up. After that, I took a seat with the two of them in the living room. Oliver jumped up to give me a smooch, then curled up on a chair of his own. May hopped up on my lap seconds later, cuddling with me and keeping me nice and warm. This afternoon, surprisingly Oliver didn't jump up on the window when I arrived. He actually waited patiently inside the door until I came in. They both greeted me again with wagging tails. Oliver saw a person walking, through the window, then bolted through the doggie door to go outside and bark at them. I couldn't help but laugh! May curled up on a chair and got cozy, then Oliver came back in and did the same on the other chair. I gave them a treat before I had to leave. This evening they patiently waited for me behind the door again. I stepped in and Oliver gave me kisses, while May sniffed the bottoms of my jeans. She could tell I was with other doggies earlier. I let them eat after that. They ate a lot faster than this morning. They were hungry puppies. Once they were done, May curled up on one of the steps, while Oliver curled up next to me on the couch. He was such a snuggle bug. Then May got lonely and curled up by my feet for a bit, before wandering over to one of the chairs.

Jimmy, Sugar, Buddy & Charlie

This afternoon I let the pups outside to play for awhile. The ran back and forth, racing the puppy next door most of the time. Jimmy and Sugar would come over by me and make sure I was still there, then quickly run back over by the fence. This evening, it was extremely cold outside. I had to scoot Buddy out the door. He was not happy about the cold. They quickly took care of their business then rushed back to the door. They ran in and gathered in the kitchen, eagerly waiting for their potatoes. After that, Sugar and Buddy ran off and did their own thing, while Jimmy kept me company, attacking me with kisses. A bit later, they heard the word 'treat' and gunned it to their beds.

Jezebel & Biscuit

When I arrived this morning, the pups greeted me at the door with their tails wagging excitedly. Jezebel jumped up and gave me a big hug. I let them outside after the warm welcome. They both took care of their business, then sniffed around for a bit. Jezebel grabbed a toy and started shaking it like crazy. Biscuit patrolled the border of the yard, seeing if the neighbors' dog was out again. They both eventually ran over by me and let me know they were ready to go back in. Then they both snuggled up with me in the living room. They were such cuddle bugs!
