Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper & Roly Poly

The gang gathered at the front door to say hi to me this evening! I bet they were all happy to see mom last night. We went outside to play for awhile before dinner. Couper zoomed up on my lap right away to give me kisses! Gracie was up on my lap next. Couper and Molly kept busy chasing and wrestling around with each other. Roly was going from one side of the yard to the other, barking at noises she was hearing. Sammy curled up with Gracie and I for awhile. They both enjoyed some nice tummy rubs! We headed inside for dinner. Couper was getting so excited and did a funny little dance while she waited for me to set the bowls down! We went back outside for awhile after dinner. Gracie and Sammy curled up with me again. Gracie actually laid behind me for a few minutes. I think she was getting chilly as the sun went down. Molly and Couper were nearby giving each other kisses. Roly came out with her bone after dinner and found a nice spot in the grass to gnaw on it. When it was time to go they all lined up for their cookies!

Spencer, Maddie, Izzy, Willie, Tilly, Natilie, Potsy, & El Nino

This morning all the pups were sound asleep as I walked up. In no time they were all up and ready to go out and play! The corgis went out first and waited by the fence for the rest to come out. El Nino got started right away with his laps along the fence. Maddie, Spencer and Izzy were all exploring and enjoying the nice sunny morning. Potsy showed up and had a little present! She had caught herself some breakfast. Nino went over to the fence and barked at her before returning to his running path. After awhile everyone settled down and laid in the nice warm sun to relax.

Spencer, Maddie, Izzy, Willie, Tilly, Natilie, Potsy, & El Nino

This morning everyone saw me coming up and started barking, ready to get outside! I let Willie, Tully and Natilie out right away, then got everyone else out to play. Nino was full of energy this morning! He started running as soon as he touched the ground. He was quite the little wiggly worm while I carried him over to their yard. He ran and ran around the yard, back and forth along the fenceline and up to me every now and again. Izzy wandered around the yard with Spencer right beside her. Maddie came over for a back scratch then explored. The corgis did their running around too. This evening everyone was ready to get outside again. The corgis gathered and greeted me at the fence. Potsy was wandering around the backyard and soon took to hiding under the porch. Nino was coming! He peeked under there and barked at her for a bit. Eventually he went and did his laps. When they were all finished running and exploring, I brought everyone in for dinner.

Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper, & Roly Poly

Everyone heard me unlocking the door today, so they all gathered to say hi! They did good again and there were no accidents that I could see anywhere! We went outside after I checked around. Couper hopped into the chair right as I was sitting down and I almost squished her! She moved out of the way enough and I quick stood up. Phew! Gracie and Couper both were busy giving me lots of kisses again today. It was pretty nice out and the neighbor kids came out to play. That had everyone going for awhile! Roly sure didn't know what to think. Later they heard a dog barking on the opposite side, so they all went zooming over there to check it out! When they couldn't hear him anymore, then it was time to chase around and wrestle! They were getting a little sassy with each other so I split them up a little to calm down. Sammy, Molly and Gracie snuggled up with me while the other two were busy exploring. Roly and Couper were digging around in that hole again. I'm not sure what they're looking for. To get their minds off it we went in for supper. Couper was last to finish again, but she's getting quicker! We played outside awhile longer after dinner. They all lined up excitedly for their treat before I left.

Cali

Today Cali did some more rolling around when I came in, and again as I made my way to the kitchen. She got busy working on her food while I took care of her litter box. It looks like she had fun playing with her red string while I was gone! Today we played while I was there. Every now and again she'd stop to come up and rub her head in my hand. She will be very happy to see daddy in a couple days!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning the kitties both ran to the front door when I came in to see them. Tyson walked ahead of me to wait bu his post at the sink. Toby laid in bed until I came to get him! He just rolled over to his side while I pet him and gave me a look like, "Can I have just a couple more minutes?". Eventually he rolled himself out of bed and ran to the back door. It was another chilly morning out, so he was quickly at the back door waiting to come in. We snuggled up on the couch while I pet Morgan for a little bit. Toby was busy sniffing other animals on me! After I got up to turn the sink off, Toby hopped up and was ready to play! We did a little fetch with his ducky. We played with his big dog next. He took it and shook it all over the place! This afternoon it had warmed up a bit, so after Toby went out to go potty we decided to go for a walk! We saw a couple other puppy dogs along the way. When we got back home, Morgan was waiting by the front door for us. After visiting with the kitties a little bit, Toby and i played with his toys for a few minutes before it was time to go.

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning both Tyson and Morgan came out of the bedroom to see me right away. Toby, of course, was still sleeping! I had to go get his little heiny out of bed. Tyson was meowing at me as I came out, wanting his sink turned on. It was too chilly out for Toby this morning. He did his business, then came right back in! After he ate his breakfast we played with his toys. He brought out his squeaky squirrel first, then we played with his big dog. This afternoon after I got Toby out of bed, we took a nice long walk! As we passed the cat tails, we heard something rustling around in them. We stopped to look and realized it was a bunch of little birds hopping around in there. When we got back home, Toby got to spend the rest of the nice afternoon visit out in the backyard playing. Morgan was still sleeping in the same spot on the couch that he was this morning. Tyson has made it a habit to wait for his sink to be turned on. Tonight he actually ran to the sink! Toby went potty outside while I filled food bowls and cleaned the litter boxes. He ate his dinner when he came in. We wrestled around with his big dog some more, then he got out his squeaky duck. He brought it over and kept pushing it on my shoulder to make it squeak! He cracks me up!

As I pulled in the driveway, I saw Potsy come running from across the street. She was a hungry girl! She meowed at me until I put her food down for her. I let the kiddos out to play in the backyard. Spencer and Maddie followed me with no problem. Nino was full of energy tonight! He zoomed around back and forth with the Corgis. He came running up to me, hopping up on the table then down and around trying to get my attention. He saw Potsy in the barn, so then he ran over to the gate and barked at her. Spencer and Maddie enjoyed getting their backs scratched! Spencer sat on his hind legs and pawed for more while Maddie did her little happy dance. Poor Izzy just sat by the back door, waiting to go inside! I fed everyone their supper and closed everything up tight so it would stay nice and warm for them tonight.

Cali

Cali was at the front door as usual today. She kept dropping and rolling right in front of my feet as I was walking around. I nearly stepped on her a few times! I had to do a little hop over her. She was very playful again today. She army crawled across the floor to get at the string. Cali swung at it, then scooped it up and rolled around hanging onto it. Later she partially curled up in my lap for some snuggle time. She took breaks to nibble on her canned or dry food, then more play time.

The gang was happy to see me again today! We went outside to play after I got there. Roly and Gracie both hopped into my lap as soon as I sat down and Gracie decided to take a little nap next to me. They gave me lots and lots of kisses! Later, the pups all started to wrestle around and they got full of dried grass! I saw Sammy was digging and biting at something in the ground, so I went over to check it out. I couldn't see what he was after, unless he was eating dirt... Roly came through the doggie door with her big bone before we headed in for supper. It took her a couple tries to get it just right to go through! Molly started to eat her dinner right away without me putting the garlic on it. She got half way through, licked the side of the bowl and looked at me, "Hey where's the good stuff?". She just stared at me after that, so I had to put some on for her to finish. We went back outside after dinner. Couper hopped up in the chair with me, laid on her back and started kicked all her legs around. Gracie came up next and they both fought over my lap and who would get to kiss my face first! They calmed down and kissed each other's foreheads like good girls. When it was time for their treats, Sammy sat on his hind legs like he usually does. This time Roly tried to do it too! She did pretty good!
