Raven, Joe Friday, Murdock & Bunny

Today I got in with no trouble! Raven was lounging on top of the chair by the window. I went upstairs and saw Joe Friday and Bunny right away. Friday was sleeping where Raven was yesterday and Bunny looked as if she never moved! Someone had an upset tummy again today. I got that cleaned up after I did the litter pans and filled their bowls. I looked over the railing once and saw Murdock standing under one of the side tables. I went back down after I was finished to find him. I saw there was a bump in the sheet that was covering the back of the couch, so I lifted it up and there he was! I let him smell me since he looked a little scared. In no time he was licking my hand and started rubbing his head against my fingers! I went back into the living room, sat on the floor and called him out from behind the couch. He came out and started rolling around all over the floor. He would stop and then reach for my hand or scootch closer so I could pet him. Friday came down to get some lovin' too!

Moose, Mick, Timber & Taki

Mick and Timber came to greet me as I came in this afternoon. I let them all out right away and Taki came to help me. Taki followed me around all over the place and even started talking to me! Timber brought her rawhide outside with her and was dancing around with it. Moose gave me a big bear hug while I was out with them. It was raining, so no one wanted to stay out very long. They all were very hyper this afternoon! Mick hopped up in the chair with me and didn't leave my side. Taki came and sat at the top of the chair for a little while and Timber and Moose were both on either side of me. Moose found a little toy squirrel and wanted to play. He kept trying to get Timber to play with him, but she wouldn't have it! While those two were messing around, Taki decided to play with Moose's tail! This evening when I came in Timber and Mick came running! I let them all out again and this time it was even colder and still raining, so they all hurried up and came back inside. They all got their treats and took them nicely for me. Taki was following me around again and talking to me. I went up to clean the litter pan and Mick and Moose waited for me outside the gate. Everyone was very playful again tonight. Taki was having a ball playing with the strings on my sweatshirt. Moose kept bringing me his little squirrel in between teasing Timber. I gave them all their rawhide chews before I left and they got right to work on them! As I was leaving, Taki went in my path and started rolling around on the laundry room rug and purred loudly.

Raven, Joe Friday, Murdock & Bunny

After I finally got inside today, I went up to see the kitties. I saw Raven was sleeping up on his perch and Bunny was snuggled up in the corner. I noticed Raven has had a nice shave since last time I saw him! I turned around and Joe Friday was rubbing up against the wall by the stairs. He came over to say hi to me and followed me around a bit. I said hi to them all and then cleaned out their litter pans and filled their bowls. Joe Friday came in by me and started eating right away. When he was finished, he went to lay in the slide bed up by the window. I gave Raven and Joe Friday lots of attention! Bunny was a little shy yet, so I didn't bother her too much. I didn't see Murdock at all while I was there. I retried the door again before I left and have it down now, so I shouldn't have any more problems!

Dakota & Benny

Benny was really hyper today! When I first came in he was running circles around the living room until I let Kota out of her cage. I let them both outside and they immediately started tearing around the backyard! Benny got muddy almost instantly as he was running back and forth along the fence with the neighbor dogs. Once in awhile he would take a break and run to the other side of the yard with Kota. She kept running from side to side and looked out toward the front yard. Her stool was more solid today. Benny went back to running his laps and Kota found something else to do. She found some branches that had fallen out of the tree and started carrying and tossing them around! Then she started breaking it into little pieces. I had Kota come inside and I got her all cleaned up before I attempted Benny's paws. He didn't want to come in for me, he was having too much fun! I had to trick him with a ball and carried him inside to the sink. He's such a good boy for that! Kota nibbled on her food a little bit while I dried Benny off.

Dakota & Benny

Dakota wasn't too much more hyper than normal today. She was talking to me while I was getting their leashes put on. It was still pretty nice out when we went for our walk, but the clouds were rolling in. Kota had very runny stool today and was squatting for a bit after. She was keeping her eye on a robin though while she was going! I got some of Benny's itchies for him when we got back. He sure liked that and was wiggling around a lot when I was scratching his back. They both got pretty tired out from the walk today, so hopefully they won't be so hyper when you get home!

Mattie, Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I came in this afternoon to let everyone out. It had gotten nice out, but the storm clouds were already rolling in. Mattie didn't want to go outside for me. She was laying in the bedroom with her head towards the corner by the nightstand. I thought that was a little odd, so I stayed by her and just watched her a little bit to make sure she was ok. She seemed fine, and even perked up when I got her a treat. Like normal, she didn't want me to stop petting her! I had to go let the other 3 in because it was starting to rain. They all got a treat before I put them back to bed.

Maggie & Moe

Maggie and Moe were ready to go outside this morning! It was really nice out when I came. Moe got out there and laid right down in her little bed on the patio to sunbathe. Maggie was laying out in the grass by the side of the house. The girls ran around and chased each other for awhile, then went back to soaking up the sun! When it was time to go, Maggie didn't want to come back inside because it was too nice out! I went out by her and she rolled over and got a quick tummy rub before I picked her up and brought her in. 

Mattie, Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Jimmy met me at the door this morning! Mattie and Jimmy went outside right away. Buddy and Sugar were all snuggled in the bed. Sugar kept trying to bury herself underneath the blankets! I let the other two back in and got their breakfast and meds ready. Buddy appeared and was standing up on my leg until I put the bowls back down! Mattie didn't feel like getting up to eat so I put one of the bowls over by her. Buddy went outside for a little bit after he ate. They're all doing good this morning!

Maggie & Moe

The girls were pretty sleepy this morning! It looked like they had fun last night after I left though. The pillows on the couch were all over the place. I let them both outside and they tip-toed around in the soggy grass. They came back inside and said hi for a few minutes, then Maggie decided to go back to bed. Moe brought me her piggy toy and put it in my lap a couple times. This afternoon I got them all ready for our walk. Moe led the way and Maggie kept close to my side as we went along. We were going to turn onto a new street and Maggie suddenly stopped and wouldn't budge! I thought maybe it was the garbage can laying in someone's driveway that might have had her spooked, so we went the opposite direction. A little while later she did it again. I couldn't see anything this time and she wouldn't move, so I picked her up and carried her! After I put her down she walked just fine. Towards the end of our walk Moe was losing steam and hung back by Maggie and I. They were both pretty tired when we got back! Tonight I let the girls out again and they ran around the backyard for awhile. I gave them their treat when we got back inside. Moe started eating out of the little bowl and spilled a few kibbles. She would try to paw them out from between the two bowls! It was very cute! Maggie snuggled up with me on the couch for awhile before she went to bed.

Dakota & Benny

Benny's collar was right where you told me! I did notice yesterday that it looked like he'd had a bath. I didn't say anything just in case he didn't. :) They were excited for another walk today! Kota was jumping all over me and Benny while I tried getting his collar on. It was really windy out and lots of things were flying around again. A newspaper was floating by us and Kota grabbed onto it and jumped in the air with it and let it fly again! After that she saw another robin hopping around and tried chasing it. An older gentleman was out getting his mail when we were coming up. He was saying just how beautiful Kota and Benny were! They both were pretty tired out after our walk today. When we got back Benny laid flat on the floor with his mouth open and tongue hanging out! I don't think I've seen him that tired after our walks yet!
