Dakota wasn't too much more hyper than normal today. She was talking to me while I was getting their leashes put on. It was still pretty nice out when we went for our walk, but the clouds were rolling in. Kota had very runny stool today and was squatting for a bit after. She was keeping her eye on a robin though while she was going! I got some of Benny's itchies for him when we got back. He sure liked that and was wiggling around a lot when I was scratching his back. They both got pretty tired out from the walk today, so hopefully they won't be so hyper when you get home!

Mattie, Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie
I came in this afternoon to let everyone out. It had gotten nice out, but the storm clouds were already rolling in. Mattie didn't want to go outside for me. She was laying in the bedroom with her head towards the corner by the nightstand. I thought that was a little odd, so I stayed by her and just watched her a little bit to make sure she was ok. She seemed fine, and even perked up when I got her a treat. Like normal, she didn't want me to stop petting her! I had to go let the other 3 in because it was starting to rain. They all got a treat before I put them back to bed.
Maggie & Moe
Maggie and Moe were ready to go outside this morning! It was really nice out when I came. Moe got out there and laid right down in her little bed on the patio to sunbathe. Maggie was laying out in the grass by the side of the house. The girls ran around and chased each other for awhile, then went back to soaking up the sun! When it was time to go, Maggie didn't want to come back inside because it was too nice out! I went out by her and she rolled over and got a quick tummy rub before I picked her up and brought her in.

Maggie & Moe
The girls were pretty sleepy this morning! It looked like they had fun last night after I left though. The pillows on the couch were all over the place. I let them both outside and they tip-toed around in the soggy grass. They came back inside and said hi for a few minutes, then Maggie decided to go back to bed. Moe brought me her piggy toy and put it in my lap a couple times. This afternoon I got them all ready for our walk. Moe led the way and Maggie kept close to my side as we went along. We were going to turn onto a new street and Maggie suddenly stopped and wouldn't budge! I thought maybe it was the garbage can laying in someone's driveway that might have had her spooked, so we went the opposite direction. A little while later she did it again. I couldn't see anything this time and she wouldn't move, so I picked her up and carried her! After I put her down she walked just fine. Towards the end of our walk Moe was losing steam and hung back by Maggie and I. They were both pretty tired when we got back! Tonight I let the girls out again and they ran around the backyard for awhile. I gave them their treat when we got back inside. Moe started eating out of the little bowl and spilled a few kibbles. She would try to paw them out from between the two bowls! It was very cute! Maggie snuggled up with me on the couch for awhile before she went to bed.Dakota & Benny
Benny's collar was right where you told me! I did notice yesterday that it looked like he'd had a bath. I didn't say anything just in case he didn't. :) They were excited for another walk today! Kota was jumping all over me and Benny while I tried getting his collar on. It was really windy out and lots of things were flying around again. A newspaper was floating by us and Kota grabbed onto it and jumped in the air with it and let it fly again! After that she saw another robin hopping around and tried chasing it. An older gentleman was out getting his mail when we were coming up. He was saying just how beautiful Kota and Benny were! They both were pretty tired out after our walk today. When we got back Benny laid flat on the floor with his mouth open and tongue hanging out! I don't think I've seen him that tired after our walks yet!

Mattie, Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie
Everyone was overly excited when I came in tonight! They all ran out and went potty quick. The little ones came back in and started bouncing up and down by me. I hadn't even got their food container out yet! Sugar was telling me how hungry she was while I got it ready. I gave Jimmy and Mattie their meds before they got their yummy suppers. They made quite a mess of the hard food trying to get out just the good stuff! Charlie bird was making some new sounds while he was out tonight. I couldn't quite make out what he was saying. I gave Mattie and Jimmy both some attention. Sugar and Buddy had disappeared into the bedroom after they ate. I gave the puppies all a treat before bedtime. They're all doing great!
Maggie & Moe
The girls both ran to the door as soon as I came in this afternoon! Moe started dragging her piggy rope toy towards me. I let Maggie out while I tried to get Moe to come out with me. I went outside and Maggie was standing close to the house under the overhang. Guess she didn't want to get wet! They both went potty and then got their treat when we came in. They both started to calm down pretty quick after they said hi. Maggie ran off into her bed in the bedroom for a little while. I wonder if she gets nervous when it rains so hard. Tonight when I came Moe brought me her piggy rope again! It's so funny to watch her drag that around. It was done raining when they went outside, but they didn't go too far into the grass. Inside they said hi and then started stealing each other's rawhides and would bring them over by me. They started tiring out a little and both laid in their beds by the fireplace. Maggie would go back and forth between her bed and I. She sprawled out and got her belly rubbed, then decided she wanted Moe's rawhide again!
Dakota & Benny
I waited a little longer today before going to see Kota and Benny, hoping that it would stop raining. It had stopped by the time I got there and the sun was trying to peek out a little bit. Kota was sure happy to see me and wouldn't stop "woo-ing" at me until we got going! I couldn't find Benny's collar today, so he got a shorter leash for his walk than what he's used to. It was very windy out, so there were leaves blowing around that Kota kept watching. We could hear all the frogs croaking while we were walking, but not really any other dogs today. A robin was hoping around on the sidewalk in front of us, and Kota tried to sneak up on it like a little kitty! When we got back Kota finished her food before I left. Benny was acting a little shy after we got back and he hasn't really done that before. Not sure if he's just nervous about all the stuff being moved around inside the house or what.

Sadie, Chloe, and Patches
This morning I played with Sadie for a bit when Chloe came over and demanded attention, so I did my best to rub both their tummies at the same time to keep them both happy. It was so cute. They were rolling around on their backs, Chloe was purring and Sadie looked like she was going to fall asleep. It turned out to be a very nice day and didn't rain like it was supposed to, so I went back to let Sadie outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. She ran and ran. She even showed me her soccer ball, then her volleyball. She was enjoying the nice weather just as much as I was.
