This morning the boys were cuddled up in front of their heaters and looked very cozy. I brought the ointment out with me when I got them some water. I applied some to Flax's cheek. He worked on wiping it off when I got their breakfast. Haha. I took food out to the barn and saw that Booty must have returned. The food bowl was empty. When I got back, I spent some time petting Flax. Little Boney came over and swatted at my sweatshirt strings. Flax's ears were itching him, so he got up and headed outside to shake his head. Boney followed us and decided to hang out on the front porch awhile. This afternoon I saw Flax was sleeping in what looked like not a very comfortable position. He was half on his bed with his upper half on the ground. It was actually quite nice out today, so I'm sure he liked the cool ground. I woke him up and he repositioned. I didn't see his little buddy anywhere. I went to refill Boney's food dish. As soon as I grabbed a bag of food, I heard him come running! He sure likes his food. This evening the boys were in their spot, keeping each other warm. I turned on the heaters for them, then worked on getting their dinner. I gave Flax a treat to work on while I did that. Boney really liked the can of food I opened for him. He had it nearly half gone by the time I got Flax's ready! Flax was too comfy in his spot to work on dinner for now. Plus, Boney was too busy with his own food, so Flax didn't have to worry about him eating it!
