This morning little Annie was curled up on her bed, wagging her tail at me. She was just a little shy, but wagged her tail more and more as I pet her and talked to her. I got her leash on and we went for a little stroll around the neighborhood. When we got back, she curled up next to me and nudged my hand with her nose for me to pet her. Soon she was sprawled out on her back, getting a nice long belly rub! This afternoon as soon as I opened the door, she excitedly ran to me! We got her leashed up and took another long walk around the neighborhood. I wanted to take her over by the water fountains, and saw there was a goose just sitting in the road. I thought as we got closer that it would fly away, but it didn't. It opened up its mouth and started hissing at us! So, I immediately turned Annie around and we quickly headed the opposite direction! Back at the house, Annie hopped up on her bed and rolled over for some more belly rubs. She was almost falling off, so I held her head with my other hand. I think she fell asleep, but her eyes were still open. She suddenly jumped and scared me! This evening I got Annie's benadryl, dinner and other goodies together. I brought them in and she finished them all for me. After dinner she and I went on another walk out back. She got a few more belly rubs inside before I left. She is such a sweetie!
