Dakota & Benny
This morning I took Kota and Benny for a nice long walk before they got their breakfast. Before we got on our way I let them out back to go potty quick. The neighbor was mowing his lawn, so Benny was chasing back and forth along the fence, then was ready to run around the corner when we went out front. On our walk Kota was hunting for fried worms on the sidewalk! She picked up a couple, then spit them back out. Guess they were too done. haha! Benny stopped under a tree and sat down to take a little break and enjoy the nice weather. This afternoon it still wasn't too terribly hot out, so we took another long walk. They were just as excited for this one as they were this morning! We walked past a spot in the sidewalk that had a large gap between the cement blocks. Kota crouched down to peer into it and hopped up in the air like she was excited and found something! Silly girl. There were a few sprinklers going this afternoon on our path. Kota and Benny both wanted to run for them and play in the water! We got a little wet and Benny was happy about that. When Benny was laying in the kitchen after we got home, he suddenly hopped up and started barking at the kitchen towel! Then he nudged at it with his nose. I guess he thought it moved! Tonight they played outside in the dark for a little bit before supper. Benny and I played some fetch while Kota was eating. We played outside some more after she was finished.
