Oreo & Stuffs

This morning I came in and saw Oreo was hanging out on the dining room chair again. He got down and met me in the kitchen. I saw Stuffy was laying on the floor next to the box in the dining room corner. I called for him, but he didn't budge. I brought his food there for him to eat. Oreo went to sit and wait by the fireplace for me. I turned it on and suddenly Stuffy came to join us. The boys cozied up next to me and took their little cat naps. This evening I came in and Oreo was right at the door. He was ready to eat!  He led the way to the kitchen and nibbled on his dinner. I went to find Stuffy and he was laying on the couch in the bedroom. I gave him his dinner and went to go visit with Oreo, who was patiently waiting by the fireplace. They sure love to snuggle up to it! Stuffy joined us shortly after. Both boys laid on their sides, purring away. Stuffy got brushed and Oreo enjoyed his pets and chin rubs.

Hudson, Gabi & Prue

This evening I heard a new bark coming from the house as I walked up. Haha. I came in and let the little ones out quick. I let Prue out next and she sure was excited! She tried to sit a bunch of times, but her booty couldn't sit quite still long enough to touch the ground. Haha! She finally did a on second touch down so I said that was good enough for our first visit. She went out and pottied with the others. They came in and all did their happy dance for dinner. She cracks me up!  Everyone ate well for me. Then, we went back outside. Gabi didn't want to stay out too long. I don't blame her... brrrr! Hudson was off in the dark, chewing on a bone. I brought that one in with us later. Prue sat with me and got some heiny scratches, then wandered off to explore a bit. We headed inside and the pups settled down. Gabi got cozy on the bed and the other two worked on their bones. Prue let out a little grumble at Gabi when she walked by. I put them back in their beds for tonight and we'll test out a shorter time tomorrow during the day that they can be out and see how they do.

Murdy & Guthrie

Today Guthrie was pawing up against the glass when he saw me walking up. He and Murdy met me at the door to say hi. The boys helped me in the kitchen. Guthrie ate right away. I saw Murdy sneak in while I was scooping boxes. He quickly ran back out when he saw I was done. Guthrie was already waiting by the office to help get his toy. He didn't play for very long today. He did come by for some pets now and then. It was Murdy who was the playful one! Racing up and down his tower, hiding behind the ottoman, and sneak attacking the feathers, Murdy was just having a blast! He even ran to the kitchen and hopped up above the cabinets. Crazy cat!

Oreo & Stuffs

This morning the boys were hanging out by the back door. I came in and said hi, then got their breakfast ready. Oreo was on the floor next to me, waiting patiently. He ate his pill and got his food plate. Stuffy was waiting for his by the back door. After I finished, we met in the living room for some attention time. Stuffy didn't stay long again. This evening I saw Stuffy hanging out on the balcony. Then, I was surprised to see Oreo sitting on one of the dining room chairs! He was looking through the railings at me and made me laugh! Oreo quickly joined me in the kitchen as I got dinner ready. Someone had gotten sick in the kitchen so I cleaned that up, then got Stuffy his food. He got up and walked away, so I kept following him with his plate until he finally ate for me. Haha! Tonight the boys were both ready to cuddle up by the fire. We sat there and they got their pets and brushes.

Murdy & Guthrie

Today I saw Murdy through the door as I walked up. Guthrie was sitting right next to him. I came in and they walked me down the hall. Murdy jumped on the counter to help me get his food. I moved his bowl on him and he didn't like that I guess. Haha. I tried to get him to come to the laundry room, but he just sat on his spot on the island. I carried him over and he ate for me. Guthrie was already trying to get my attention as he kept walking over to the office door. He got his wish as soon as I finished cleaning up their room. After he got some playtime in, then he took a break to eat. Murdy took advantage of that and had his own playtime. He was sure spunky today! Murdy raced around and stalked the feathers. Then, he raced from the front door all the way up his tower, then down behind the tv, and up on top of the cabinet. I thought I was going to have to jump up and catch something, because he was waddling like he was going to make an attempt for the window!! Luckily, he thought better of that and I made him get down. Haha.

Oreo & Stuffs

This morning both boys were hanging out by the back door. Oreo was on his chair and Stuffy on the floor just below. Oreo came to brush his face against the back of my legs while I got his food ready. The boys ate and I tended to my things. Oreo was waiting for me by the fireplace. I turned it on for him. He snuggled up to me for his pets as we got cozy and warm by the fire. Stuffy came in for a little while, but later ventured off. This evening Stuffy was sitting in the bedroom doorway and Oreo was on his chair. Oreo got up on the counter to help me tonight. I guess he was a hungry boy! He got snacking on his treats, so I had to move them until he ate his pill for me. After dinner, the boys met me in the living room. Oreo got his pets and some brush time. Stuffy got some brushes, but then he went and sat off a ways. Oreo eventually wandered off to go sit by my shoes. Haha.

Murdy & Guthrie

Today the boys were waiting for me again by the door. I came in and Guthrie hopped up on the counter and got a few pets before I went to get his breakfast. Murdy got up there and sat on his little bed. I picked him up and put him in the laundry room to eat. He finished and I heard Guthrie meowing from the kitchen. I went out there and he was trying to get me to follow him to the office. He was more interested in playing than eating his food! The boys both got a little playtime in. Murdy eventually wandered upstairs. Guthrie hid behind the ottoman and would jump up to catch the feathers. Haha. He took a break after awhile to go eat.

This evening Stuffy looked like he just woke from a nap on his ottoman. Oreo was sitting on the floor next to it. I said hi to the boys, then Oreo came and helped me in the kitchen. I fed Stuffy where he was and they both ate for me. Oreo came over for a few pets, then he wandered off to go snack. Stuffy hopped down as soon as he was done eating to go get a drink. He then went and sat in the dining room. Oreo returned and got some more attention time.

Murdy & Guthrie

Today both boys were right at the door to greet me when I came in. They helped me in the kitchen while I got their breakfast ready. Murdy came down to the laundry room to eat right away. I scooped their boxes and saw that Guthrie had joined him. They were both ready for the feather toy to come out after that! Murdy and Guthrie both raced into the office to help me get it. I made sure they came out with me and closed the door. Guthrie chased and stalked the feathers. Murdy played for a few minutes, then ventured off to go sit upstairs. Guthrie wandered up there a little later, so I called for him and he came back down to get some pets. They were sure bored with me today!

Today Guthrie was pawing up against the glass while I unlocked the door. So cute! I came in and the boys met me in the kitchen. They sat on the counter to supervise. I delivered their food and Guthrie went to eat right away. Murdy came in while I was cleaning their boxes. I got their laser light out to play today, but Guthrie didn't seem super into it. So, I went to go get his feather toy and he raced into the office to help. Guthrie jumped around and stalked his feathers. Even Murdy played a bit too. He found my shoes to be especially amusing. Haha!
