Sophie & Roxy

Today I came in and the girls were snoozing in their beds. I can't blame them, it was freezing out today! It was sitting around 20 degrees. Brrr! They came in and their fur didn't even feel cold, so they must stay pretty warm in their little house. I filled their bowls and the girls came over to say hi. After a little bit, they took turns going to get a bite to eat. Sophie came up for some snuggle time after dinner and Roxy took a nap in her chair. I got them a couple treats on their way back out today. All is well!

Noell & Navi

This morning Noell met me in the kitchen. Navi joined her shortly after. Navi sat by the fridge and watched me get their food ready. The girls went to eat while I filled their other dishes up. Navi finished and I had her follow me down the hall. She hopped up and checked out the bowl. I put her back up a few times, but she didn't have to go. The girls met me in the living room. Noell came over for a few pets, then wandered on down the hall. Navi and I had fun playing with her fish and her scratching post. Before I left, we tried to get Navi to go again, but had no luck. I also filled up her treat toys for her.

This morning the girls both met me in the kitchen. They were ready for their breakfast. The girls sat by their food bowls, waiting patiently. I got Navi her probiotics and made sure she ate from that bowl. After they finished, the girls followed me down the hall. Navi came in and hopped on the toilet to check things out. She didn't do anything, so I put her back up there a few more times. Nothing. We went to our spot and Noell came over for some pets. Navi sat and watched. The girls were pretty bored with me today. Maybe tomorrow they will want more attention. I had a good laugh at Navi today. Sunlight from the back door was shining in on her tag. Since she was moving, the spot of light was dancing around and she was trying to catch it. Haha! I took Navi back to the bathroom and set her up there several more times. She didn't want to do anything for me today. Hopefully they use it while I'm gone.

Today I came in and the girls were busy racing to the other side of the yard to bark at something. I called for them and they eventually came running to say hi. The girls came inside and I got them their dinner. They both went to eat right away today. Sophie later came to sprawl out across my lap for her tummy rubs. Roxy laid on her doggie bed for awhile. She hopped up to get a few ear rubs, then went to lounge on her chair. Sophie wandered around checking things out. I think the girls are ready for mom and dad to get home!

Micah, Henry, Houston, Charlie, Smudge & Finn

I finally found Charlie today! Yaaaaay! Today I came in a little earlier since I saw the temps were supposed to drop as the day went on. Finn met me at the door and followed along as I went to turn all the faucets back on. Smudge was hanging out on the couch in the front room and Micah was actually up and about today. He was sitting by the Christmas tree as I went around. I checked around for Charlie as usual, and finally I spotted him in the closet today. That made me happy to finally see that he was alive and well. Haha! Next, I cleaned boxes and got Micah his food. I got a little bit down for Finn and Henry today to keep them occupied. Since they left him alone, Micah ate very well. To my surprise, even Smudge came in to get a little snack today!

Today we started a little warmer, but then the temperature steadily dropped as the day went on. Brrr! The girls were snoozing in their cozy bed when I came by. I let them in and filled their food bowls. Roxy came and hopped on the couch by me. Sophie went to eat right away. Roxy lounged in her chair after a bit, and then took a break to eat as well. Miss Sophie decided to steal her sister's spot on her while she ate. Naughty! Haha. I called Sophie to come over by me. It didn't take long before Roxy raced over to steal her chair back! Silly girls. Sophie lounged with me for awhile and got her belly rubs. When it was time, the girls got their treats and headed out back.

Micah, Henry, Houston, Charlie, Smudge & Finn

Today I walked in and I think I startled Finn. She was stretching up against the wall by the door. Haha. I spotted Henry and Houston as I walked in as well. I see the kitties had found some new things they pulled out to the living room. Finn got her hello pets, then we went to check for the others. Micah was lounging on the bed again as usual. Finn hopped up by him and nuzzled his head with hers. So cute! I didn't see Smudge or Charlie today. After I cleaned up and pulled their food down for them, I went to get Micah his dinner. Since Finn didn't scare him today, he actually ate quite well. Houston and Finn were busy wrestling around on the floor. Soon, Micah was finished and Henry and Finn took care of the leftovers.

Today the girls were out lounging in the grass by the front gate. They were enjoying the gorgeous day we had outside! They jumped up and were bouncing around by the gate when they saw me coming. The girls came in and I filled their dishes. Today, they went right to work on their food. After that, Sophie hopped up on one side for attention, and Roxy on the other. Roxy didn't stay long and went to go sit in her chair. Sophie wiggled around and rolled over for her belly rubs. I noticed her collar was missing today, so I went out to go look for it. Luckily, I checked their house first, because there it was. Haha. I got the girls their snacks when it was time.

Hudson, Zel & Gabbie

It was only in the 20's when I came by this morning. Brrrrr! The pups met me at the door and went out for their potty breaks. Needless to say, they were quick about it! They all danced around in the kitchen while I got breakfast ready. Hudson came over for his pets while he waited on the girls to finish. I let him out back after, but the girls weren't having it! They just looked at the open door and.... nope! We hung out inside while Hudson played. I could hear him having fun chatting with the neighbor dog. Haha. I made the girls go out for one last potty break before I left. They sure didn't want to put their toes on the cold ground! That made me laugh. It warmed up a little later today. I let the pups out and they did their thing. After dinner, we went out for a little bit. The girls stayed out longer than this morning, but still wanted to go back in after a short while. They sat and snuggled, taking turns grooming each other. Hudson had a blast playing out back until it was time to come in for bed.

Today I came in and Finn was first to greet me. Henry was right behind her. She followed me around this morning as usual, trying to check on everyone else. Smudge was in the same spot I left her in yesterday, lounging on the couch in the front room. Micah also was in his usual place, all cuddled up in blankets on the bed. Houston and Finn were messing around with each other as they waited for me at each stop. Finn was all about getting her share of attention! She hopped up next to me on anything she could. The cats have been having fun knocking over the ladder in the living room for the past couple days. Haha. After I finished filling their food and scooping their litter, it was time for Micah to eat. I went and got him and filled his dish. Finn was in a hurry to jump up there, and sent a bowl flying off the counter in the process! Haha. I think some paint flaked off the bowl, otherwise no harm done. But, that freaked Micah out, so even with some coaxing, he didn't stay long to eat today. I put most of his portion back and let Henry and Finn have a little bit of leftovers.
