Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was right at the door to see me. Stuffy was peering down at me from the stairs. Both boys met me in the kitchen. I gave Oreo his pill, then got the boys some food. Oreo got his prescription diet with a little regular food mixed in, and he chowed down. I gave Stuffy his regular food and he ate for me too. Yay! After he finished eating, he got his antibiotic. The boys waited for me in the living room while I scooped their box and filled their treat toy. I think Stuffy is going to keep his distance from me until his meds are done. Haha! Poor guy. Oreo came over and worked on his treats. Once he got them all out, then he came over by me to get his pets and chin rubs.

Duncan & Lily

This evening the pups both came to see who was home. They looked at me for a minute, then I asked if they wanted to go potty. They both got all excited and made their way to the door. They went out and it took a little coaxing before Lily and Duncan would leave the patio. I stayed out there with them and eventually they did their business. After that, we got their dinner ready and both pups licked their bowls clean. After dinner, we went to the living room and the pups got some pets. Duncan hopped up next to me and sat with me. Lily was busy being goofy and rolling around on the floor. Later on, we went back outside for awhile. The pups did a little exploring in the dark. When they came in, they got a little more attention time as they settled down and got ready for bedtime. Lily curled up in some blankets that were on the floor. Duncan came and sat on the couch and got all comfy too.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening the boys were both waiting in the dining room for me. I went to the kitchen and Oreo sat beside me while I read notes. I tried to give him his pill on a treat, but he wasn't having it. He wanted his food like I normally give him! Haha. We compromised and I gave him a little meatball with his pill in it. Once he finished that, I got the rest of his food for him. Stuffy also got his pill and he did great for that. He turned his nose up at his food. The boys sat by their treat toy, asking me to fill it. I had to ok with mom first, so we held off tonight. I turned the fireplace on for poor sick little Stuffers. He liked that and curled up by it. The boys both enjoyed some pets while we sat by the fire.

Noell & Navi

This morning the girls came to greet me as usual. We went and got their dishes right away. Noell didn't eat her bowl of food again. I tried a different brand of food this morning than the one I did yesterday. I also didn't put in as much water. She liked that one today! Noell sat and chowed down while I filled their other dishes. The girls snacked while I went to wait for them at our spot. They came out and wandered over for some pets. After that, the girls both wrestled around with their mouse and fishy toys. Noell was pretty into it today! Before I left, Navi helped me fill their treat toys. She had one almost empty by the time I finished filling the next one. She's good at that I guess! Haha.

Noell & Navi

This morning Navi was in the kitchen meowing at me as I walked in. Noell was in the dining room behind her. The girls escorted me to their room to get their bowls. I noticed Noell hadn't eaten much of her food. I got them some fresh food and got Noell her drops. They ran ahead of me to their room again while I delivered their food. Noell used the potty box quick then sniffed at her bowl, and wandered out. Navi sniffed that bowl too, then moved on to her bowl to snack. I scooped their box, then met the girls in the living room. They chased their laser light for a couple minutes. Since the light was dim, I got out their fishy toys instead. They hung out with me for awhile, but didn't do too much pouncing or chasing after their toys at first. They just watched. Noell wrestled around with hers after a little while and Navi came over for some pets.

Bella & Chico

This morning I came in and let the pups out. I set their food down while they were out doing their business. They both came racing back in to say hi. Bella sat by me for quite awhile to get some attention. Chico was busy working on his breakfast. After he finished eating, he went to go sit in his chair. So, Bella took her turn to eat since he was done. After she ate, we headed outside. It was already so nice out this morning! The pups roamed around a little until it was time to head back inside.

This afternoon I came in and let the pups outside. Miss Bella was acting silly and didn't want to come out of her bed. Not sure what was up with her. I coaxed her out with a treat. I made sure they had plenty of food and water, then I joined them out back. It was a beautiful afternoon and the sun was nice and warm. The pups came to visit me for some pets before laying out on the patio to soak up some sun. Chico got up and did some exploring, so I followed him around to make sure he didn't make any escape attempts. Haha. Miss Bella got to spend the nice afternoon out back. This evening I let Bella in and went to get Chico. It was still very nice out this evening. Chico ventured outside for a bit, so I grabbed the flashlight to keep an eye on him. He was hanging out in the corner that I suspect he likes to escape from. The pups came back inside with me and both sat by me for lots of pets and back scratches until it was time for bed.

Noell & Navi

This morning the girls both came into the kitchen to greet me. They followed along as I went to get their bowls and got their breakfast ready. Noell went to work on her food. Navi decided to hop in the litter box while I was in the middle of scooping it. Haha! She climbed right over my hand and the scoop. Little goof. I waited until she was done, then finished my task. The girls joined me in the living room for some playtime. I had them both wrestling around and pouncing on their mice. They then started wrestling around and chasing each other! They zoomed all around the room and down the hall. They were full of energy today I guess. Noell eventually returned and came to visit for some pets. Navi came back later on and climbed in my lap for some snuggle time too.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This morning I came in and let Ruby out of her bed. She raced to the back door to wait for me. Rusty was making his way to follow us. The pups did their thing. Ruby was leaping and bounding back to the door, ready to eat. They both ate their breakfast for me and Rusty got his meds. Salem also got her medicine, after some pets of course. I filled her dishes and scooped her box. The turtles got their fresh food and water. Ruby settled down with a rawhide in the front room, while Rusty snoozed in his chair. I put Ruby back in her bed when it was time. This afternoon Rusty was already out back when I arrived. He came in with me to get Miss Ruby. The pups and I hung outside awhile since it was another nice afternoon. I tried to get Rusty to play some fetch with me, but there was only the full red ball out back. It wasn't his favorite, so after a couple throws he was done. I tried to help him find his favorite ball, but we had no luck. This evening I had the pups come outside for a potty break before dinner. They both ate well for me. Next, I went to visit Salem a bit. She was happy to get some attention and told me stories while she got her pets. I gave her her last dose of medicine in the pen, then scooped her box and filled her water up. She got a few more pets before I went back by the pups. They were both snoozing already, Rusty in his chair and Ruby in her bed in the corner.

This morning Ruby came out and did her business. Rusty ventured out for a potty break too. Ruby was racing circles around me this morning and zooming all over the place! The pups came in and I got their breakfast ready. Ruby gobbled her food down, but Rusty wasn't so hungry at the moment. I put his food up until Ruby was back in her bed. Salem got some pets and meowed at me while I filled her dishes and cleaned her box. She was a good girl and let me apply her meds. This afternoon was absolutely beautiful outside! The pups and I headed out and we hung outside for awhile. Ruby sunbathed on the patio. Rusty brought me his ball a couple times for some fetch. But mostly, he was busy exploring. This evening the kiddos came outside when I called for them. Ruby was all excited as usual since it was time to eat! I fed the big kids, then it was time for Rusty and Ruby. After they ate, I gave Salem her meds and some attention time. The pups were hanging out in the front room when I got back. I had miss Ruby come outside for one last potty break before bed.
