Gracie & Sadie

This morning the girls must have been a little sleepy. Gracie was first to come to the door to see me. After a minute Sadie came running to say hi too. I let the girls out right away for their potty break. Sadie had no hesitations. She came back to the door pretty quick since it was kinda chilly out there. I dried her paws off and she came inside by me. Sadie sat and got lots of pets. Gracie was still having fun outside and wasn't ready to come in yet. We heard a neighbor dog barking, so that made Sadie want to go back out. She zoomed out the door and the girls raced around the yard. They had fun out there for awhile until it was time to head in. It was pretty cold out this morning, so I let them stay inside. I gave them each some cookies before I left. They were very good girls!

Gracie & Sadie

This morning I came in and Sadie tried giving me her hello hug. She calmed down pretty quick, then got her pets. Gracie went right out but Sadie played her shy game for a minute. It actually didn't take long and she decided she was ready to go out. The girls were busy zooming from one end of the yard to the other this morning. Not sure what they were after, but they were sure having fun! A neighbor came out in their backyard and was throwing bread to the birds. Sadie makes a pretty good guard dog! She ran to the fence to bark at them, then came back to me like, "It's ok, I got you." Haha. I got the girls dried off and we headed inside. This afternoon was very nice out, so we spent the whole time out back. Sadie came out willingly right away. Yay! The girls were after the squirrels this time. They were busy jumping around in the tree in the yard, so the girls circled below like little mini sharks. Haha. This evening the girls greeted me at the door. I let them out back while I got their dinner ready. I see we have a little counter surfer! I know I saw two fortune cookies on the counter. Tonight there was only one, and I found a wrapper on the floor in the office. Hmmm... wonder who that could have been? Haha. I let the girls in and they both ate well. We went back outside to play some more after they'd finished.

Gracie & Sadie

This morning I came in and Sadie gave me her excited greeting. She settled after a minute, so then I pet her when she had stopped trying to jump up. Haha. I got Gracie outside for her potty break. Miss Sadie decided she wasn't up for that and rolled over in the living room. She laid there and made any attempts to pick her up very difficult. Sassy lady! It took a little coaxing, and even tricking her a little on my part, then she came out back for me. Goofy girl. They did their thing, then were both very good girls while they got their paws dried off. We came in and visited for a bit. This afternoon had turned out to be much nicer than the day had begun. We all went out back so the girls could play. They chased each other a bit and had some fun. Then, they spotted some squirrels frolicking out in the back of the yard and up in the trees. That kept the girls pretty entertained for awhile. They just sat there and watched them. Haha! This evening Gracie went out for her potty break and Sadie played hard to get. After a few minutes of goofing around, I got her to go out for me. When they came in, it was time for dinner. The pups both ate well for me again. After dinner I found one of Gracie's toys and tossed it down the hall for her. The girls were being sassy and jealous over the toy, so that was the end of that. Haha. I sat at the end of the couch and pet Sadie while Gracie played with her toy. The girls went out for one last potty break before bed.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar did his stretch in the living room when he saw me come in. He pranced his way to my side to get his hello heiny scratches. Then, we went out back. It turned out to be a very nice afternoon! The sun was nice and warm. Oscar was busy checking everything out today. He was all over the place sniffing and looking around. He saw his squirrel friends and watched them a bit while he took some time to relax in the grass. Someone was playing out front with their dog today, so he had to go talk to them too.

Gracie & Sadie

This evening I came in and the girls met me at the door. Neither one made a peep! I said hi to them and Sadie was eager to greet me. Haha. I went to let them out back but only Gracie wanted to go out for me. She came back quickly after she went potty, so I fed them their dinner right away. Both girls ate well and licked their bowls clean. After that, it took a little enticing, but Sadie came outside with us. The girls spent a little time out back doing their thing. When we came in, we got to spend some time visiting. Gracie was frantically looking for a toy for us to play fetch with, since that's what we always did. She couldn't find one though. She settled for some pets instead. Sadie was eagerly trying to climb in my lap for a bit, but eventually she settled and laid on the floor next to me while I pet her. The girls both got a bedtime snack before I left.

Bella & Chico

This morning I let the pups out for their potty break. It was pouring rain out there, so they did their thing and came back inside pretty quick. Bella went and stood out on the patio under the cover of the roof for awhile and looked out to the yard. She sure wanted to go play and explore! The pups settled for coming in and working on their breakfast, taking breaks for some pets. This afternoon the rain had let up, so they got to go out and spend a little time out back. Chico didn't want to go out long. He came in and nibbled on some lunch. He had fun playing in the blankets on the couch for a minute too. What a goof! When it was time, I tucked them in bed with a peanut butter snack.

Shadow & Lucy

Today I came in and started getting food ready for the kitties. After I had set the canned food down, then Shadow emerged. He worked on his food while I went to take care of their box. Miss Lucy was up on her perch in the closet, meowing at me through the crack in the door again. Haha! I went out to the living room and Shadow came over for a few pets. He hopped up on the table by the treats and let me know he was ready for some snacks. I tossed him several to work on. After that, he went to the front room to sit in the window and look outside. Miss Lucy came out to see me after awhile and was ready to play. She was being her silly self, rolling around with her rope toy.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I let Zoie out to do her thing right away. She came in shortly after and I let Sadie out and followed Cole out back. Cole seemed to be in better spirits this morning and was a bouncy boy on the way to the door. He went out and was able to go slightly better than yesterday. He was still having to strain though. Poor bub. He did his thing and we went in so I could feed everyone their breakfast. The girls ate well for me, but Cole still wasn't up for it yet. This afternoon I went and got a can of food for him before I came by. The girls and Cole all went out back this afternoon since the rain hadn't arrived yet. Cole didn't have any accidents in the kitchen while I was gone, so that was an improvement! He was excited to get outside again. He was about the same as this morning as far as ease and ability to go. He relaxed in the grass with the girls until it was time to head in. I tried to see if he wanted to eat for me this afternoon, but he still wasn't having it. Hopefully tonight! This evening I came in and let the girls out front to do their thing since it was raining. Cole and I headed out back. He was still straining, but he still didn't have any accidents during the day, so he's still doing better than he was. I took care of the girls quick, then came back to feed the pups their dinners. Cole wasn't interested in his dry food yet tonight. I put just a tiny bit of canned food in there for him and that did the trick! Yay! He went ahead and ate about half his dry food for me. He stopped after that, so I added some more canned to it in hopes that he'd eat more for me after I left. The girls both ate well for me.

Bella & Chico

This afternoon I heard little Chico calling for me when I came in. Haha! I let them out and we headed outside while they did their business. The pups both came over to say hi for a bit. Miss Bella was busy checking out the bushes after that. Chico went in to work on some lunch. Bella found some sort of critter in the bushes and got all excited. Chico came racing out to help her look! Haha. I never saw what they were after but I had to make Chico go inside since he was a little too determined and was trying to dig. He calmed down after awhile and they both explore outside until it was time to head in. I got them both some peanut butter snacks before I left. This evening it was still quite nice out. It had rained a little bit earlier but stopped already before I got there. The pups both worked on some dinner and explored out back until the rain started in again. It was time for bed anyways.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

Well we had an eventful start to our morning. I let Zoie out for her potty break and went to get Cole next. He hadn't eaten his dinner overnight, so I knew something was up. I followed him outside to make sure he his bowel movements were looking normal. I noticed right away that he had some urinary issues. I went in to let Sadie have her turn and checked on the girls quick while I called the vet. I took Cole and dropped him off. This afternoon I picked him up with his medicine. We got him all checked out. All three pups got to spend some time out back enjoying the nice afternoon. Hopefully poor Cole will feel better soon. While they were out doing their thing, I moved Cole's bed to the kitchen. This evening I let the pups out back to do their business. I tucked the girls in bed, then came back and cleaned up the kitchen a bit. When it was time, the pups came in for dinner. Cole still wasn't feeling up to eating just yet, but hopefully he will overnight.
