Today I let Winston out and got his harness on. I realized there was no leash around that I could find. So, I ran down to my car quick to grab one. Winston was at the door waiting for me to return. I got him hooked up and away we went. It was a beautiful day out there! We got a nice long walk in around the property. We saw quite a few other pups out walking their humans too. When we got back, Winston got a toy and we played for a few minutes before it was time to go back to his room.
This afternoon Oscar greeted me at the door. We headed out back right away to enjoy the beautiful afternoon! Oscar found a spot to lounge in the grass for awhile. It didn't take long before he was busy exploring the yard. There was someone out front that he had to go bark at later on as well. Oscar was enjoying the cooler weather today, and that got him in a playful mood! He found his ball and came over to squeak it at me. Haha. We had fun chasing around for awhile until he pooped out. He relaxed in the shade until it was time to head in.
Today Oreo was on his way through the dining room to come see me. Stuffy was staring down at me from the top of the stairs. Oreo led the way to the kitchen and was busy loving up on the cabinet door while he waited for his food. Haha. When I finished scooping their box, I saw Oreo was sitting at our spot, already waiting for me. He meowed at me to come join him! I sat down and Oreo snuggled up next to me. He purred and loved up his chin rubs. I called for Stuffy several times, but he was comfy lounging on the stairs I guess. I went up there and gave him his turn for chin scratches.
Today Oscar came stretching his way out of the bedroom when I got there. He came over for a couple heiny scratches before we headed out back. It was quite a nice day out today! Oscar found a spot in the grass to lay flat out and do some sunbathing. He retired to the shade when he got warm. After that, Oscar came to see me for lots more heiny scratches! He told me when he was ready to head back in. I tried to get him to play a bit since we had some time. He played a very lazy game of tug! Haha. Soon he just sprawled out across his ottoman. He just wanted to be lazy today I guess!
This afternoon I got Winston out and put his harness on. Poor guy had to rock a pink leash today! Haha. He didn't seem to care though. :) We made our way outside and he did his business. It wasn't quite as hot out today, so we went for a nice long walk. When we got back home, I got a cookie out for him and put him back in his room. I had tried to get him to play for a few minutes before that, but he was more focused on getting his cookie!
This afternoon Oscar was lounging on the couch when I came in. He hopped up and met me at the back door. We went outside and he got right to work at pacing the yard. He was busy checking everything out this afternoon since it was pretty comfortable out. Eventually he found a spot in the shade to relax for awhile. We headed in when he got warm and I got him some fresh water to cool off. Oscar worked on his food while he had me for company. Before I left, he got his snack.
This evening I came in and almost waited to see if Oreo would come running down the stairs. I headed into the living room and saw that he was just sitting there, already waiting for me! Haha. Stuffy was lounging on the ottoman, looking quite comfy on his blanket. Oreo ate some dinner while I cleaned up quick. I returned and Oreo came to snuggle up with me. He rested his head on my leg and purred away, sometimes looking back at me to make sure I'm still petting him. Stuffy took a nap on his ottoman. I made sure to give him some chin scratches before I left.
This evening Noell came walking up to me in the kitchen to say hi. She led the way to her room where I grabbed her bowl. She hadn't eaten much of her breakfast. I got her some dinner and she worked on that while I kept her company. I saw she had all three of her mice in the bathroom! Haha. I brought them out to the living room with us. I sat on the floor with her for a bit and she enjoyed some pets. I tried to get her to chase her laser, but she just wanted loves.
This afternoon I came in and turned down the hall. Oscar was standing at the end of it waiting for me! He pranced over and got his heiny scratches. We made our way out back and he stood and watched me for a second. I called for him and he came running over for a few more pets. It was cooler out today and there was a light sprinkling of rain out. Oscar found a spot out in the grass and lounged. He was enjoying the refreshment! He spotted a guy out walking his dog today too, so Oscar ran over to the fence to check that out for a bit. When we went in, he got his paws wiped off, then he did some tricks for me.
This evening I came in and Oreo was already at my feet meowing at me. He led the way to the kitchen. I was surprised to see Stuffy already lounging in the living room. I got Oreo his snack and went to clean their box quick. Stuffy was still laying in the same spot when I returned. Oreo joined us when he was done. Both boys enjoyed their pets tonight. I had to scoot closer to Stuffy to reach him, but he purred away once he got his chin rubs. Both boys were sprawled out on their sides, completely relaxed.
