Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I came in and Oreo was racing down the stairs! I don't know that I've ever seen him move that quick! Haha. He was already waiting for me in the kitchen by the time I got there. Stuffy was sitting at the top of the stairs again. Oreo started working on his dinner while I tended to their other things. He joined me in our spot when I was finished. Since he was done with his turn, Stuffy ventured down to eat next. Oreo was lounging, purring away as he got pet. Stuffy came in after he had his fill. He came and sat on the other side of me for some pets as well. Stuffy sat with his back to me so I would pet that side today. Haha.

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let Ruby out and called for Rusty. He came from the front room and grabbed his ball on the way. We headed out back for their potty break. Ruby was bouncing around all happy that it was time to eat! Haha. I got them their breakfast and they both went to work. While they ate, I checked on Salem 's things. She wasn't out again, so I went to feed the turtles next. They hadn't eaten much of their blueberries from yesterday. I got them some of their pellet food for today. The pups and I went back outside for awhile and Rusty got some fetch time in. This afternoon it was so hot out! I got Ruby out and made sure she did her business. After that, she joined Rusty and plopped down in the grass to sunbathe. They did that for quite awhile since it was too hot to do anything else! When they got warm, we headed in to cool off. They both lounged in the front room and took turns getting some pets. I stopped in to see Salem and she was actually out on the bed this time. She was happy for some attention too! I checked on the turtles and they'd finished their food from this morning already, so I got them a little more. This evening both pups came outside to bark at me until I got inside the gate. Then, they were bouncing around happily, ready to eat! They got their dinners while I checked water dishes. Rusty had been chewing his feet pretty bad today, so I gave him a Hydroxyzine this morning and again this evening. The pups came outside with me while I fed the others and got them some fresh water for their electrolytes. Rusty was ready for some fetch after that. We played until he got warm, then I headed in to visit with Ruby.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was already at the door waiting for me. He started meowing at me right away while I was stepping back out to grab a package. Oreo hopped up and led the way to the kitchen. I saw Stuffy was watching us from the top of the stairs. Oreo began to eat, then met me at our spot when we were done with our stuff. Oreo laid on his side and was loving up getting his head rubbed! Haha. I heard Stuffy taking his turn to eat in the kitchen. He came in, licking his chops after his yummy snack. Stuffy enjoyed a few pets, then laid just out of reach. Oreo got back up and went to eat his seconds, now that Stuffy had a turn. I scooted closer to Stuffy and he let me continue petting him. Oreo returned and snuggled back up next to me on the other side, ready for more pets.

Rusty & Ruby

This evening Rusty came and met me at the gate. I heard Ruby come out, but then she saw it was me and ran back in to go wait by her bowl. Haha. I had the pups come out with me for their potty break while I fed the others. I got them their electrolytes and filled up their water. Rusty had his ball and was following me around out there, so I would toss it for him as we walked. Next, the pups and I went in and they got their dinner. While they ate, I checked all their waters. We headed back out again afterwards and Rusty got some fetch time in. Ruby thought it was too hot out and went back inside. After Rusty was done, I went in by Ruby and gave her some belly rubs.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo came running down the stairs when I arrived. He ran ahead of me to the kitchen. I had stopped to close the shutters, so he came back to see where I was! Haha. I got him his food and he patiently sat there until it was delivered. I didn't see Stuffy on the bed today, so he must be lounging elsewhere. Oreo was waiting for me when I was finished with their things. He and I went to our spot to get his attention time in. I called for Stuffy. A couple minutes later, I heard him snacking in the kitchen. He ventured in by us when he was done. After a little bit, Stuffy wandered off. Oreo followed shortly after. I found Stuffy sitting by the bottom of the stairs and Oreo was getting a little sunbathing in by the entryway.

Noell

This morning Noell came running inside when she heard me come in. She started meowing at me right away. I turned on the water for the plants out back, then came in to see miss kitty. She was having fun leading the way to her bowls. Then on the way to the kitchen, she was behind me and swatting at my legs. Haha! I got her breakfast and she chowed down while I cleaned her box. She followed me out to the living room when she finished. We had fun playing with her fishy toy pretty much the whole time today. She wasn't too interested in the laser light. She wanted to run and pounce and tackle things today!

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I came in and started getting food ready for the kitties. Mr. Oreo hadn't come by to see me yet. After I checked their dry food and water, I went to the bedroom to see if they were in there. Sure enough! Both boys were snuggled up on the bed. So cute! I gave them a couple hello pets, then went to scoop their box. When I was done, Oreo was working on his food, so I went to our spot and he joined me when he was done. Oreo snuggled up next to me and enjoyed his chin rubs and pets. After a little while, he suddenly hopped up and raced over to the window. There was a little bird there, sitting on the window sill looking inside at us! He kept coming back too! So that kept Oreo pretty occupied. Haha. I ventured in by Stuffy, who was still lounging on the bed, to give him a little attention time too.

Noell

This morning I came in and went out to water plants. I found Noell out there on the patio. She got up and kept meowing at me and then would roll around on the floor. As I walked by outside to go turn the water on, she was busy following along inside the screen windows. Haha! She came in with me and I got her breakfast. She had eaten all her dinner and began to work on her breakfast for me too. She was following me around all morning while I cleaned up. Noell would lay down and just watch me. Then, I'd of course have to stop and give her a few pets! Such a cutie. This evening, after I got her dinner for her, we checked under the couch for her mice. I have to laugh because she always crouches down and looks under there with me! Haha! I couldn't see any under there, so she must have carried them off elsewhere. She got a few minutes to zoom around after her laser light too.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar met me at the door! He got his pets and heiny scratches on the way to the back. After we got outside, he stopped in the grass and stared at me. I told him to come here and he came bouncing over for more pets! He did his business, then found a spot to lounge around for awhile. He wandered up to the door to go in, but I grabbed one of his toys to see if he'd play first. Sure enough, he was in play mode today! We had fun playing keep away with his ball. I chased him all over while he was squeaking his ball at me. Haha! Soon, he was ready to head in. We continued playing a game of fetch with his toys inside until it was time to go.

Noell

It was unusually quiet and felt a little weird today. I came in and Noell was her happy little self, waiting by the train table for me. When she saw me coming, she quickly hopped up and led the way to her room. I picked up a few things, then got her her breakfast. She had finished all her wet food from last night, so she must be getting used to the new stuff. She actually chowed down quite a bit on her breakfast too. After she had enough, she followed me to the living room for some play time. We had a blast with her fish and her laser light. She would wander over now and again for some pets too.
