Murdy & Charlie

Today I came in and Murdy came to see me on the counter. I didn't see Charlie like I normally do, so I called for him. I saw him hanging out upstairs. I got them some fresh food and water, then scooped their box. By the time I was done, Charlie was lounging on top of the kitty tower. He gave me the longest meow! He told me lots of stories today. Haha! Murdy came over to visit me and we played with their mouse toy a bit. Charlie eventually came down to go eat. He came racing over when he was done to join in and pounce on the toy! They both had their turns stalking, tackling and wrestling around.

Winston

It was a hot one today! I came in and let little man out of his room. He went and waited for me by the door. I got his leash on and we headed on our way. We wandered around a bit and he did his business. We kept our walk a little on the shorter side today since it was so hot out. We went back in to play inside the cool house instead. I grabbed his rope toy and we played a game of tug. Winston had some shreddy time with it too. Haha. He got bored with that toy, then went to go get his little stuffed animal guy next. We played fetch with that one until it was time to go. I got Winston a snack, then put him back in his room.

Bella & Chico

This morning I opened the door and Chico let out his loud little bark. Guess he hasn't seen me in awhile! Haha. I opened their doors and Chico gave me a laugh. He came out wearing his towel like a little poncho. Haha! I took that off, then he curled up back in his bed. He didn't feel like coming out this morning. So, Bella and I went out back for awhile. She was busy exploring. This afternoon, I made Chico come out, since he was trying to hole up and protect his treasures. The pups both came out to do their business. They took turns coming to visit me for some attention. This evening, Bella and Chico went outside for awhile. Chico was busy guarding the yard and walking the fence line. Bella chased around after some birds flying overhead. She later came inside to eat her dinner. Chico was still busy out there exploring!

Susie & Frank Fritz

This morning I came by to let the pups in. They were both out roaming in the yard. Frank came right in for me, but Susie was acting funny. She didn't want to come in and kept hiding in her bed. Silly girl! I later realized the fan was moved and unplugged, so maybe she got caught on the cord and scared herself. Or thought she was in trouble? I don't know. Anyways, I tried bribing her and everything and that silly girl wouldn't come in for me. I left them both out longer and came back again around lunch time when I could. This time, I caught her collar on her way to her house and then she went right in for me. The fan was knocked over again. I left it unplugged since they were going to be inside now anyways and would fix it later. This evening I came in and Frank gave me big hello hugs. Susie came over for some pets too. I got them their dinners and we headed out. I moved the fan closer to the house so it was out of their path. We'll see how they do overnight. After dinner, the pups each came over for a little attention.

Murdy & Charlie

Today I spotted Murdy in the hall when I walked up to the door. I came in and the boys were busy hopping up on counters to say hi to me. Charlie helped me fill their dishes and take care of their box. When I was finished, I stopped to give Murdy some pets. He was sitting on the top of the kitchen island. He did a great big stretch when I did that. They followed me to the living room to visit. Murdy hung off in the distance and Charlie was right next to me, rolling around and being silly. We played a little with their toys, then they spent some time chasing each other around as well. Murdy surprised me a few times by coming from another room to pounce on the feather toy! He was in a playful mood today I guess. Haha!

Susie & Frank Fritz

This morning I came in and the pups both came running to see me. I saw that they had been good overnight. Yay! We went outside for awhile so they could get their potty breaks in. Frank was busy checking things out in the yard and returned with a very muddy nose! Haha. They explored and got a little play time in, then we went back inside. It was going to be a very hot day today, so I thought it'd be best that they stay in the cool house. This evening, I returned. The pups had been good inside again. I let them out back, then got their dinners ready. They lined up inside their doggy houses, ready to eat. Susie and Frank will get to spend the evening outside tonight. I filled their bowl with fresh cool water and a bunch of ice cubes. I'll be back again in the morning. Another very hot day tomorrow.

Cate, Bella & Mio

This morning I got the hoses running to water the grass. I went in to see Cate and take her out for her potty break. We tried the leash again, but she just stuck close to me and watched me. Haha. We stayed out for awhile, then headed inside. I got them all some fresh water and fed Bella and Mio. Cate got to play in her room while I watered the other plants. Bella made sure to steer clear of the water, but was wandering around on top of the fence. When it was time, I took Cate out again once more then put her back in her bed.

This morning Bella came to walk me to the front door. Cate and I went out back for awhile to see if she'd do her business. Bella was roaming on the top of the fences. Cate went inside to play while I took care of Mio and Bella, then watered all the plants. Bella helped me in the front yard. When I returned, I saw Cate was having a blast with her toys. Haha! This evening, Bella appeared from under the car to say hi. I gave her a few pets on the way in. Cate was sleeping, but popped right up when she heard me. I took her out back quick for her first potty break. She didn't have to go, so back in we went and got her dinner ready. While she ate, I got Mio some fresh food, water and bedding. Mio got a little snuggle time next. I checked Bella ' s food and got her some fresh cool water as well. Cate and I went back out again when she finished eating. I took her out to the grass on the lead after awhile since she wouldn't venture out on her own. She actually went potty for me then. Yay!

Today I came in and the boys seemed a little startled at first. Haha. They quickly calmed down and were talking to me. Murdy hopped up on the table and waited, while Charlie was at my feet, helping me fill their dishes. I cleaned their boxes next. The boys were both lounging on the dining table when I was done. Charlie was rolling around and sticking his paws out for me, being silly! I got a toy out and he came to play a bit. He decided to sit on my shoulder awhile and snuggle too. He's so silly! Murdy waited for the perfect opportunity, then came racing in to pounce on the kitty toy! Haha. After a little while, the boys were being spunky and wrestling around with each other.

This evening I came in and read mom's note quick. I opened the door and saw Susie lounging on the patio in front of the fan. Frank came running up from a shady spot on the patio by the patio set. They came in tonight while I got their dinner ready for them. We headed back out and they ate quick. Both pups sat by me for some attention when they were done. I decided to bring them in for the rest of the day, since they both were panting pretty good. They were happy to come into the cool house. Susie got comfy and Frank followed me around while I Frank-proofed the house. Hopefully I got everything that he may have thought to get into. We will see in the morning.  :) Before I left, they each got a rawhide snack.
