Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I came in and got food ready for the boys. No one had come to visit me yet, so I went to peek in the bedroom first, to see if they were in there. Sure enough! The boys were snuggled up on the bed together. I went over and pet them for a bit. I went to clean their box, and they were still lounging when I was done. I went back in by them to pet them some more, and Oreo hopped down to go eat. I gave Stuffy some more chin scratches. When I went to go visit with Oreo, he was already waiting for me by the living room. We sat in our spot and he snuggled up next to me for some pets.

Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls were waiting at the back door for me. I let them in and they were very excited to say hi! The girls hopped up on the couch with me and were being silly. Sophie was rolling around and flopping herself across my lap. Roxy was pawing at my arm, wanting lots of pets. She buried her face when I rubbed her ears for her. Roxy took a break to go eat her food. Sophie joined her for a couple minutes. The girls returned and snuggled up on the same side of the couch with me. They were content just sitting there and getting pet today. I got them a couple treats when it was time to go.

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I came in and let Ruby out for her potty break. She quickly did her business, then she bounced her way to the back door. She was ready to go in and eat. She made me laugh! She was racing around the kitchen, leaping and bouncing like a little baby deer! Haha. The pups ate their breakfast. Rusty got his good allergy medicine this morning and Ruby got her treat too. It was a pretty chilly start to the day. I went to take care of the turtles and Salem next, while the pups did their thing. When I was done, I found them in the front room, working on their bones. This afternoon the dining room was a bit rearranged. I let Ruby out and followed her to make sure she went potty for me. I kept calling for Rusty, but he didn't come out. Once Ruby raced back in, I went in to see what he was up to. I found him, just chillin' in his chair by the front window. "Oh hi! Did you need something?" Haha. I got him to come out with Ruby and I again. She didn't stay long, but Rusty and I got a nice game of fetch in. This evening, both pups were at the gate, barking at my car. I got out and Ruby started bouncing around right away. "Yay! Dinner time!" Those two ate, while I went to feed the big kids outside. Justin and Chloe were already waiting for me. The rest were making their way over, when they heard the bucket. When it was time, I got miss Ruby tucked in for the night with a treat.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I got everyone up to go out for their potty breaks. Cole took his time to come out to the kitchen. Once he did, he and I went out. He hopped out to the grass on his own and did his thing. Everyone came in to eat once they were done. Next, it was back out for some lounging time. Zoie was inside with me, dancing around on her hind legs, carrying her bowl. Silly lady! When it was her turn to go out, Sadie and Cole sat with me for their attention. This afternoon it was a little drizzly out still. I let Zoie out first for awhile. Cole and I went out so he could go potty. When we got in, Cole pawed at me for his attention. Miss Sadie stood her front paws on my lap to get her kisses in! I went to get Zoie and she had herself all good and tangled up out there. Haha. She came in and went to work on her bone, while Sadie took her turn outside. This evening, Sadie was doing a big stretch when I walked in. The grass was pretty dry now, so I let them out back to potty. I got their dinner ready and filled up water bowls while they were out. Cole was ready to come in pretty quick, with Zoie not far behind. Sadie took her time and was busy exploring in the dark. The kiddos all got their dinners, and the girls were happy to get their treats.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let the boys out and they both did big stretches. They wandered outside to play for awhile. The grass was wet since it rained all morning, so they both had skinny little legs from their wet hair! Haha. They were having a blast out there today. A neighbor dog was out talking to them, so they both got worked up and were racing laps along the fence. Eddie came in for his pets. He ran back out to play shortly after. The boys were all excited about something they were hearing towards the front of the yard today. I had to go out and get them to come in for me. They were good boys!

Rusty & Ruby

It was storming and pouring rain out this morning. I let Ruby out and had her come out with me to do her business. She wasn't too happy about that, but she was a good girl. We came back in and they got their breakfast. After the pups ate, they went to sit in the front room. I took care of the other critters next. I didn't see Salem this morning at all, so she must have been hiding. I saw the turtles had eaten most of their food, so I got them a bit more. I sat with the pups for a bit, and they worked on their bones. This afternoon I let Ruby out and Rusty wandered out from the front room. It was still raining outside. I called Ruby out with me, and she quickly did her thing. She then raced for the dry house! Rusty didn't stay out long either. We all went to sit in the front room for awhile. The pups got all riled up and danced around for some heiny scratches. Once they settled down, they each had their bone to work on. This evening, I looked out in the yard and saw all five kiddos lined up at the fence, ready for their dinner! That made me laugh. I went in and fed the pups quick. By now, the rain had finally let up for us. The pups wandered out once they finished, to go do their business. I fed the other kids and had to dump out the water from their dishes first. Rusty and I got a little game of fetch in this evening. When we went in later, I had to confiscate a bone Rusty was snacking on. He kept trying to swallow it whole! He was an itchy boy this afternoon and evening, so I will give him the better medicine in the morning.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning it was storming and pouring rain outside when I arrived. I let Sadie out front and took Cole out back. He sure didn't want to go! We went back in and he was just shivering after I got him all dried off. I think the poor little guy was nervous from the thunder. I let Zoie out for a turn, then got everyone their breakfast. The girls took turns outside again after they ate. Since the rain wasn't coming down quite as heavy, I took Cole back out. It took him awhile, but finally he went. I don't think he was happy with me! Haha. This afternoon it was still raining outside. I carried Cole out and made him stay out with me until he pottied. He went a little quicker for me this time. The girls went out front for breaks. When everyone was in and dried off, we sat in the kitchen for some attention. Zoie was being silly, prancing and carrying her bowl around. Sadie kept trying to climb in my lap to steal her kisses! Cole got his heiny scratches, and would paw at me if I stopped, even for a second. Sadie and Cole went to the bedroom when it was time to go. I told Cole he couldn't go on the bed, since he was still a little damp. This evening the rain had let up in time for my visit. It was only sprinkling now. I let Sadie and Cole out of the bedroom. Sadie went outside for a potty break. Next, Zoie went out. I still hadn't seen Cole. Finally, he came to the kitchen with me. I think he didn't want me to make him go out in the rain again! Haha. I took him out and he did his business. The kiddos all got their dinners, then they got their pets in the kitchen too.

Ginger & Tiger

This evening Ginger came wandering over to say hi as soon as I got in. I opened their gate and they both came out of the kitchen. Tiger hung back a bit. I carried Ginger outside, then he finally decided he was ready to come out as well. Silly Tiger! The pups did their business right away. Ginger then came over to paw at me for her pets. Tiger wandered around a bit. Soon, he was pawing at the door to go in. I brought them in, got them some fresh water and their snacks.

Winston

This afternoon I got Winston ready to go for his walk. It was another warm day outside. We got out there and wandered around for awhile. Winston got to see a few different doggies on our journey today. He spotted a couple walking their two pups in the distance. He stopped to watch them for a bit. We cruised around some more and he was busy sniffing at the flowers and bushes we passed by. Winston had a fun romp in the tall grass today too! Later, he spotted a little terrier, who spotted him too! Winston couldn't take his eyes off that pup. He kept trying to take me over that way to go say hi. That doggie was doing the same! It was cute. We spent most of our time outside this afternoon, so when we got back it was just a short playtime.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon the boys came out and said hi. Soon, they wandered out back. It was a toasty afternoon, so the boys were pretty lazy. They lounged around on the patio most of the time today. Eddie would come in for a little attention, like usual. Later, Butler came in as well. I got them all riled up and they wrestled around. They would paw at me to mess with me too! Haha. After a little bit they relaxed inside and cooled down before it was time to go.
