Oreo & Stuffs

Today as I was walking in, I saw the tops of Stuffy's ears up on the stairs. I got a little close and saw him sitting there on the middle landing. Oreo came running from the bedroom and met me in the kitchen for his food. He came to see me in the living room next. Oreo laid down and purred, while he got some pets. I got his mouse toy out and we played with that for a few minutes, but he was more interested in his chin scratches today. When he got bored with me, I went up the stairs to visit with Stuffy for a bit. He rolled to his side and wanted some belly scratches. He sure loved that up! He kept sticking his paw out towards me. "More please!" Haha. He laid there like that the whole time.

Daisy & Figaro

Today Daisy was curled up on her towel on the washing machine. I got her food ready and made sure she had water and a clean box. She made her way down to eat, while I went to see if Figaro was around. I went out to the patio to fill her food dish, and sure enough, there she was! She was all curled up by the fountain. Figaro hopped up and came over to brush up against my legs. She was a hungry girl, so she nibbled a bit at first. She played a little after, and was happy for some attention. At one point, she must have seen Daisy through the window, so she went over to the door to get a closer look. As I was leaving, Figaro made an attempt to come in with me. Sorry kitty!

Rusty & Ruby

Today I let Ruby out and Rusty appeared behind me, ready to go out. I let them out and we carefully trekked our way across the patio area. I had to coax Ruby a little to follow along. She finally did and went to pee. Both pups plopped down in the grass to get a little sunshine. Rusty had a good pant worked up from just laying out on this hot afternoon, so he wasn't up for fetch today. When they were ready, we all headed inside to cool down. Rusty was moving from chair to chair to get comfy, and Ruby retired to the bedroom.

Winston

Winston was ready for his potty break when I arrived today. He waited by the door for me to latch on his leash, then away we went! He kept stopping to sniff at something on the steps today. Maybe another dog had just gone by? We got out to the grass and Winston roamed around awhile. We took a shorter walk today, since it was super hot and sticky out. Winston didn't seem to mind, and actually it was he who headed for the stairs! We got back inside the cool house and had plenty of time to play. Winston got his rope and was ready to go. He was quite vocal about it too! Haha. He was doing his little hoppity thing backwards, which always makes me laugh. We played some fetch with his rope for awhile too. When he got tired, he laid next to me and squirmed around while I pet his belly. Silly boy!

Eddie & Butler

Today I let Eddie out and he was very excited. I opened Butler's door and spritzed his chest quick before he came out. The boys went outside and immediately plopped down on the patio to get some rays. Neighbors and neighbor dogs were out today, so that kept the boys busy racing to the fence to investigate every sound they heard! Later, the boys went in to cool down. Butler was lounging on the table. Goofy boy!

Oscar

Oscar met me at the door today, as usual. He stopped for a "hello" pet from me, then went on his way to the back door. He went out and found a cozy spot in the grass right away, to sunbathe a bit. It was a little too hot and sticky outside to do much playing today, but he did enjoy his lounging time. Oscar moved around a little and went to relax and watch the neighbors work on their yard. Later, he came to lay next to me in the shade to cool down a bit. When we went in, I got him some fresh cool water, and a couple snacks!

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo was walking through the dining room to come see me. We stopped in the entryway to say hi a minute, then we made our way to the kitchen. Oreo waited patiently for his yummy snack. I didn't see Stuffy in the bedroom today, so I called for him a couple times. Oreo and I went to sit in the living room. He curled up next to me and rubbed his face in my hand. He enjoyed plenty of chin scratches! Later, I could hear Stuffs in the kitchen, getting a bite to eat. I got a toy out for Oreo and had him swatting at the mouse for awhile. It didn't take long for him to be bored with that, and he just wanted more pets. Stuffy never came to see me, so I went looking for him. He was now sitting at the top of the stairs. I went up to give him a few chin scratches as well.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let the boys out when I got there. I quickly sprayed Butler before he had a chance to run out. Haha. The boys then went outside to play a bit. They did their thing, then came over to say hi. Butler was full of kisses today! Eddie gave me quite a few too. The boys took a break to lounge on the patio awhile. They took turns going in to cool off and get a drink, then would come back out to soak up some more sunshine.

Winston

This afternoon Winston was sitting at the gate, waiting for me. I noticed he had a cute new harness on the stand! I got his leash on and we headed outside right away. Winston did his business pretty quick today, so we wandered around awhile after. It sure was hot and sticky out this afternoon. Winston got to explore and sniff around at some trees and bushes. We saw some other pups out as well. When we got back home, Winston was ready to play! He started talking to me while I went to find his rope toy. We played a gentle game of tug. He got bored with that pretty quick and ran to get a ball. I guess he was more in the mood for fetch today! I tossed it for him and he'd run to get it and bring it back for another. Later, he was being a silly boy and kept rolling around on the floor. He laid on his back for a short belly scratch.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was in the kitchen when I walked in. He came over right away and rubbed up against my legs. He sat in the kitchen in his spot to wait for his dinner. I went to clean their box and spotted Stuffy lounging on the bed. I went to say hi to him and give him a few chin scratches. I walked to the living room when I was done, then Oreo came running to join me. I sat on the floor and he snuggled up next to me. He was in a lovey mood today and wanted pets the whole time. He just sat and purred away. Eventually, when it was just about time, he got up and wandered off to go snack some more.
