This afternoon I let Ruby out, then Rusty came running in the kitchen to say hi. We headed outside right away. It was raining earlier pretty heavily, but it had let up just enough for our time outside. It was still lightly misting out, but not bad. Ruby still wasn't too thrilled! Haha. She ran out and did her business, then came zooming back and leaping on the patio. She stood and almost looked like she was sulking behind me. I don't think she's a fan of the wet weather! Rusty was exploring for awhile, then he brought over his new red ball for me to throw. I tossed sit for him, but he returned with his old ball instead! Haha. So, he had two out there to choose from today. Later, we headed inside and I got them some fresh water.

Eddie & Butler
This afternoon I let Eddie out, then he came running along excitedly as I went to let Butler out. We headed outside to the patio. It was raining pretty hard while I was there. The boys came and said hi to me for awhile. Butler was standing on the table, slathering me with kisses, while Eddie was on the other side, pawing at me for attention. Later, Butler was laying at the edge of the patio just under the roof, where he couldn't get wet. He looked so sad! Eddie didn't care too much and was roaming around in the rain. Butler finally joined him out there when they heard the neighbor dog bark. That made them go crazy for awhile! Haha. Eventually we headed in and they went to their beds and got a snack.
Winston
Little man came walking out slowly today when I opened the gate. Then I realized, he was a bit tangled up in his harness. I fixed that for him and we got ready to go for our walk. Luckily, the rain had let up just enough in time for us to go out. So, we were able to get a decent walk in today! Winston did his business. While we were out, we saw a couple other pups along the way. When we got back, I set him free and he went crazy! Haha. He was zooming around the house and across the couch, then back to me. We had fun playing with his orange monster dude for awhile. When Winston started doing his shredding thing, I looked around and saw his rope was nearby. I grabbed that, then he raced over to grab the other end. We played tug with that for awhile too. Then, his ears perked up and he dropped his end to listen. I'm not sure what he heard, but he got all worked up! He started to bark and look around. Silly boy.
Daisy & Figaro
This morning Daisy was sitting quietly on the counter by the door. I got her some food and she sat up and meowed at me a bit. It took her a few minutes, then she finally hopped down to go eat. I had went out to call for Figaro, but didn't see her anywhere. It was raining pretty good today, so I wasn't sure if I'd even see her. After going in and out a few times to take care of her things, she showed up at the door. When I opened it, she started trying to walk in. "Don't mind if I do!" Haha. I sat out on the patio with her and gave her some chin scratches for awhile. After that, we had fun playing. Today she was sitting under the table sticking her paws up through it to catch the toy!

Daisy & Figaro
This morning Daisy was sitting in the same spot when I arrived. She was meowing at me again while I got her food ready. Figaro had been lounging on her chair, but was up and at the door when she heard I was there. No presents today, so that was good! Haha. She followed me around while I got her fresh food and water and scooped her box. She would wait by the door for me to return every time. We got right to playing today. Figaro plopped down on her side and was ready to swat at her toy.

Mac, Abby, Colt & Penny
This morning the boys were all excited when I got there. I lifted them each over the gate and they raced for the door. I let the girls out as well, who were happy to join them outside. I got them some fresh food and water for the afternoon, then brought out all their beds and toys. Colty hopped up and sat in my lap for awhile, giving me kisses. Penny was hopping around and chasing after everyone, wanting to play. She's so funny. Mac found a bone left from yesterday and went to work on that. This evening the pups all came running in when I opened the door. I had them come back out to play outside a little longer before it was time to go in. Mac was prancing around with his toy, making sure Penny didn't steal it as he showed off. Abby was nibbling on some dinner since she had company. Penny and Colty were having a blast running and wrestling around. Colty kept coming to me to "save him". Haha! He sure likes hanging out with me. He kept hopping in my lap to snuggle every chance he could. Penny was just busy having fun. She's more of a papa's girls I guess! She killed one of the toys and took out its squeaker, which I had to confiscate after she started tearing it into smaller pieces. She didn't mind, she just went and tackled Colt instead. Haha! I got everyone and their things in for the night. Penny kept hopping into the dog beds when I was trying to pick them up. She just wanted to go along for a ride! She cracks me up. They all got a jerky snack before I left.
Sadie, Zoie & Cole
This afternoon all the pups met me in the laundry room when I got there. Zoie ran off immediately to start collecting all the toys she could carry! I made her leave all but one back inside the house. Once we got out back, Sadie found a nice spot on the patio to sunbathe for awhile. Cole sat by me for attention. I took him out to the grass several times today. Zoie was off exploring, checking bushes for her bees. I tried to interrupt her as much as possible. Haha. She eventually wore herself out and sat by the bowl to get a drink of fresh cool water that I brought out for them. Zoie found a cozy, shaded spot in the plants by the fountain to relax. When it was time, we headed in and I filled up their water bowls.
Daisy & Figaro
This morning I heard Daisy but didn't see her at first. She was sitting behind the wall on the other counter, right by me as I was collecting her dishes. She got to work on eating as soon as it was ready for her. Figaro was already sitting at the door waiting for me. She was in hunter mode today. She left a lovely present at the door for me... haha. She hopped up to the table while I filled her dishes. Figaro laid on her back with her head hanging over the edge so I could scratch her chin for her. Silly kitty. We got her toy out after that to play for awhile. She had fun rolling around and playing, but then something caught her eye. She was chasing after bugs!

Mac, Abby, Colty & Penny
This morning the boys were hopping up and down at my legs as I walked in. I took Mac's thundershirt off and let them out. Poor guy had to wear it last night for nothing. So much for all the storms we were supposed to get yesterday! Haha oh well. Next, I went to let the girls out. I see someone got into some mischief last night. They had shredded up one of the rugs. :( I even had several toys in there for them last night. Little goobers. I let them outside, then I put all the rugs in the tub, so they couldn't get at any more. I sat outside with the pups for awhile, while they played. They took turns snacking on some food. Mac found a little piece of rawhide that he was working on. Colty and Penny were both trying to get my undivided attention. They're both just too darn cute. Before I left, I got them all a fresh rawhide for the afternoon. This evening the pups were pawing at the door when they heard me come in. I let them run around inside while I started to bring their things in. When I had their rooms all situated, I went to sit outside with them for awhile. Mac was prancing around with his bone that he had saved from this morning. He laid down to snack on it while I was out with them. Penny and Colt were over by me for a little attention, then they wandered off to play and explore some more before bedtime. Everyone got their jerky snack again before bedtime.
Chelsea & Beau
Today I spotted Chelsea running across the hall, as soon as I opened the door. Both kitties met me in the kitchen right away. I got them their yummy snack, then topped off their dry food and refreshed their water dishes. Neither one was interested at the moment, as they wanted attention more! I sat on the floor by their toys and they both sat with me. The kitties purred away and enjoyed their chin scratches. Chelsea eventually wandered over to eat her portion of the canned food. She ate until she was full, then she came back and rolled around on the floor by me. Beau found a spot just out of reach to lay down. His little motor was still running! He wandered off for a few minutes, then he returned to eat a bit as well. He didn't finish his food, so I left it out for them to snack on for later.
