This morning I walked in and heard Sara barking at the back door already. She knew what time it was! She came in and was running around the house, ready to chase after any fleeing kitties. I fed the pups their breakfast and Wyatt got his last pill. Once they were done, I went to check on all the kitties' food bowls. Bandit was lounging on the kitty tower in the spare room today. As I was walking in, I saw a flash of fur that ran for the back of the chair. I didn't think anyone could hide under that one, but then I realized there was more room at the back of it. I was curious if it was Gracee that I saw, so I slid the chair out far enough to peek under. It sure was! I guess that's where she's been hiding. She crawled out and sat in the room and stared at me a minute, before she made a break for the garage. I was just happy to finally see her! This evening I came in and the pups were waiting patiently at the door. Sara followed me around and helped me get dinner ready. We sat in the living room so they could get some attention once they were done. Bandit came wandering in and started playing and rolling around on the rug. The next time I looked up, I saw Gracee was standing in the hallway, staring at me! She sat there for awhile, before she went into the garage. Twice in one day!

Eddie & Butler
This afternoon I let the boys out. Butler ran outside right away, but Eddie stayed to say hi to me for a few minutes. We joined Butler outside for awhile. Eddie was busy howling at me again. Goofy boy! He stopped when he heard the neighbor dog behind the house come outside. Then, the boys had to go to the fence to check things out! They were busy exploring from one end of the yard to the other today, checking out every little noise they heard. Later, they were wrestling around and just being silly boys! They did take a break to lounge on the patio as well. When it was time, we headed in and the boys went in their beds for me.
Rusty, Ruby & the kitties
This afternoon I let Ruby out and she ran outside. I was calling for Rusty for a bit. I grabbed his ball right away and took it out with me. I sat outside with Ruby until she went in. Rusty still hadn't come out, so I went to find him. He was being lazy, lounging in his chair! Ruby went to sit by him. This time, I got them both to come out with me. I tossed Rusty's ball for him a few times. Otherwise, he was busy rolling around in the grass. I visited Ruby for a bit when Rusty headed back in, and she enjoyed some tummy scratches.
Winston
This afternoon I let Winston out and he was bouncing up and down at my legs. Then, he started zooming around and ran across the couch and back to where I was standing! I got him hooked up and we went on a nice walk. While we were out, we saw a ducky nearby. Winston saw it too, and wanted to go say hi! Haha. He did his business, then we made our way back. As soon as I sat on the floor, Winston instantly grabbed his squirrel toy and was giving me his big bad "grrrrr"! Haha. We played tug for a bit. Then, he was in sort of a snuggly, yet still playful mood. He kept curling up in my lap, but then he'd try to play bite at my hands. Silly boy. He got up and found his ball that we played with for a minute, but then he went back to his tug toy. He made me laugh today. At one point, we were busy playing. Then suddenly, he dropped his end of the toy and started sniffing at the air. He got the scent of his bone on the tv stand! After that he started crying to me to give it to hin, but I told him mom had to do that. It was time to go anyways, so I put him in his area and got him a couple treats instead.

Wyatt, Sara & the kitties
This morning I walked in and saw the kitties had had a little party while I was gone! The rugs were all rolled up and they had brought out a ribbon and some rubber bands to the living room. Haha! As I turned the corner, I saw Sara and Wyatt staring in at me from the back door. I let them in and they danced around excitedly, ready for breakfast. Some storms were rolling in this morning. Sara followed me to the garage to get breakfast. She was busy sniffing around, looking for kitties out there. We headed in and the pups waited for their turn to eat. Bandit was sitting in the window again. After they finished, I went to visit Amber a little bit. She enjoyed a few chin scratches when I delivered her breakfast. I spent some time giving Wyatt and Sara some pets too, before they returned to their area. This evening Bandit was lounging on his kitty tower when I got there. Sara was already at the door, and I saw Wyatt was on his way. They stared as I got their dinners together. The pups hung out in the living room while I cleaned out all the litter boxes. Shadow saw me from his window, and decided to come say hi. He was feeling lovey tonight! When I sat with the dogs to pet them, he came over for some pets too! Before I let the pups back out, Wyatt shook his head. He got his ears stuck all silly. I guess he was trying out a new 'do!
Rusty, Ruby & the kitties
This afternoon I let Ruby out of her bed. Rusty was snuggled on the recliner in the living area. He hopped down, then the pups followed along outside. Rusty sat by me for some attention, then he wandered out to the grass. Ruby did her thing, then headed right back in. I'm guessing she wasn't a fan of the weather today with the storms earlier. Rusty didn't hang out real long either, and returned to his spot on the chair. Ruby was hiding in the bedroom. Poor scaredy girl. I went to check on her and saw Salem was snoozing on the bed.
Eddie & Butler
Today I let Butler out, then Eddie when I got there. Eddie was very excited to say hi! The boys then went outside for a bit. I went out with them. Butler was messing around with his Kong toy. I threw it for him a few times to fetch. Then, he was being silly and standing on the bench with it. Eddie was just busy talking to me most of the time. Eventually, the boys both relaxed and lounged on the patio for awhile. The sun had actually peeked out by then. When they got too warm, the boys went inside and laid on the nice cool tile.
Winston
This afternoon Winston was looking at me with his cutie little face when I walked in! He came out of his area and was bouncing around happily. I got him hooked up, then we headed outside right away. We got a nice walk in today and he did both for me. Later, we headed back inside to play a little while. As soon as we got in, Winston started zooming back and forth across the house! What a crazy little man! Haha. He stopped as soon as I sat on the floor and he went right for his little squirrel toy. He brought it over and put it on my hand. "Let's play!" We played tug and he was just talking away the whole time. He would take a break to shred at it, then would want to play some more. He makes me laugh!
Oscar
This afternoon I walked in to see a happy little boy! Oscar was spinning in circles again on the way to the door. It was wet outside today from the rain, but luckily it was done in time for us to go out. Since it wasn't particularly sunny at the time, Oscar actually wanted to play for a bit! I grabbed one of his frisbee toys and threw it for him. Then, he wanted to play "keep away". Haha! I chased him around a bit and we had some fun. When he heard a dog barking nearby, he had to stop and check that out. Later, Oscar relaxed in the grass and was watching the cows that were by the fence on one side of the yard. Suddenly, he got up and ran over there. I went to see what he was up to. There were two squirrels up in the tree bickering with one another! They were squeaking and chattering and flailing tails like crazy. What an interesting day! Haha. Oscar didn't want to come in when he saw me holding the paw towel. He knew what was up! So, I had to kind of trick him by setting it down and coaxing him in. He was a good boy though! We spent a few minutes playing tug with his shark toy before I left. He also did some tricks for a yummy pupperoni!

Oscar
This afternoon Oscar was right at the door to greet me again! He started bouncing around and spinning in happy circles as we made our way to the back door. We went out back to enjoy the beautiful afternoon. Oscar did his business. I tried to get him to play with different toys, but he wasn't really interested again. Haha oh well! He laid on the patio in the warm sunshine for awhile. Then, he came prancing over for some back scratches. Later, his friend, the boxer next door, came racing over to the fence to say hi. Oscar had a blast rolling around in the grass today. Silly boy! When we went in, I got him a couple doggie cookies and filled his water dish. I think he was holding out for the pupperoni instead! He left his cookies uneaten for a little bit. When I made a game out of it, then he finally crunched on his snacks.
