Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I came in and got to the kitchen, then I heard somebody coming down the stairs. It was Oreo! He came and loved on me a little while I got him some dinner. Oreo met me in our spot and snuggled up next to me. He enjoyed his attention for awhile. A butterfly floating by the window captured his attention. He quickly sat up and watched it flutter away. I got out the little laser light after that and had him chasing that around a bit. It didn't take long before he pooped out! Haha. He wanted more chin scratches after that. Later, I headed upstairs to find Mr. Stuffs, since he hadn't come down. He got his share of chin scratches too.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

This afternoon Ruby zoomed out of her bed and raced for the back door. We headed outside with Rusty along behind us. Ruby hung around outside a little while today, then she ran in to take her nap on the couch. I didn't see Mr. Lance at all this afternoon, so he must have been out exploring. Rusty and I got a good game of fetch in. It was a bit warmer out today, so it didn't take him long to get tired. He took a few breaks between throws, then eventually we went in so he could cool down.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was right at the door to see me. Stuffy came wandering and stretching his way into the dining room as well. Oreo tagged along to the kitchen to get himself a snack, while I went to go clean their box. The boys joined me in the living room when I was done. Oreo plopped down next to me and rolled around. He purred away and enjoyed his chin scratches. Stuffy sat by the other end of the couch and just sat and watched us. He's so silly. I went to give him a few pets too, so he wasn't left out. Oreo was quite lovey today and stayed with me for quite awhile.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

This afternoon I let Ruby out, then she and Rusty followed me out back. The pups did their business. Ruby ran around a little, then she stopped to sniff at something. It was a little baby bunny laying by the steps! He didn't look too good, so I bet Lance brought him over there. :( I moved it to the other side of the fence, so that the pups couldn't get at it. Ruby lounged around on the patio and Rusty rolled around in the grass awhile. Then, he wanted to play some fetch. We played until he got tired, then we went in to get him some water.

This evening I came in and checked around for the boys, since I didn't see them right away. Oreo came running within a couple minutes. He rolled around while I got a fresh can of food ready for them. He came and sat with me in the living room afterwards. He laid next to me and purred away, enjoying every minute. Occasionally, a bird would fly by the window and he would quickly sit up to check it out. Stuffy hadn't come to see me, so later I headed upstairs to find him. He was sitting in his spot on the ottoman. I sat with him for awhile and gave him some chin scratches too.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning I let everyone out. Chico hung out in his bed again until I opened a can of food for Louie. Since he ran out, I went and shut his kennel door so that he would actually spend some time outside. I saw why he was so protective of his bed. He had little treat pieces hiding under his blanket! I let Louie out and fed him his breakfast. He only ate about half of it for me. I put the rest away when he was done. Bella and Chico snacked a little too. Bella came outside and licked up any small canned bits she could find on the patio. Louie was getting around ok again this morning. He was a bit more weak than last night. His back end would occasionally sink down when he was walking and he'd have to stop and sit for a minute. When it was time i tucked the kiddos back in their beds. I got them each their peanut butter snacks for being so good.

Oreo & Stuffy

This evening Oreo met me on my way to the kitchen. He commenced rolling around on the floor at my feet as soon as we got there! I got him some dinner, then took care of their things quick. As I was headed to our spot, I saw Stuffy had come down and was sitting on the stairs. He let out a little meow as I went to pet him. Oreo was waiting in the entryway for me and came running to meet me in the living room. He sat by me and purred away as he rubbed his chin in my hand. I heard Stuffs in the kitchen, taking his turn to eat. Eventually the boys switched spots. Stuffy came to visit me and Oreo went to eat some more. Oreo went back to his spot in the foyer when he was done.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This afternoon I let all the pups out of their beds. Chico sat in his for a little while and didn't want to come out. I'm guessing he had a snack in there that he was protecting! Once I opened a can of food for Louie, he came running. I got him outside with Bella, so that Louie could eat. He took several bites, then wandered off. I put the food up and let him out with the others. He made me a bit nervous, which is why I gave mom a call. When it was time to go I made sure and got him a small bowl of water to put in his bed with him. This evening Louie made me feel much better! He was far more active than he was earlier. I put him outside with his canned food again, and this time he scarfed it all down. He even ate some dry food too. Bella and Chico were busy doing their own thing. Bella wandered over now and again for attention, then she finally worked on dinner as well. Louie sat by me for quite awhile, then he roamed around again.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This evening the pups were quiet when I walked in. I let everyone out and we headed outside for awhile. Zoie brought out her bone, but then she was busy checking out the bushes. Sadie and Cole did their business, then those two were pretty much attached to me! They took turns pawing at my legs. "Pet me!" "No, pet ME!" Haha. Sadie would also get jealous if I was petting her and Cole at the same time. She wanted all my attention to herself! Later, we went in and I made sure they all had water. Zoie brought me her Frisbee to play tug with. Sadie just wanted her pets. Then Cole, well, he was busy being silly and hopping around, ready to play!

This morning I got to meet Stephanie on her way out. She was very nice! I came in and the pups barked to let her know someone was there. Good guard dogs! Haha. We headed outside for a bit so Rusty and I could play some fetch. Ruby sat by me and enjoyed some back and heiny scratches. We took a break when Rusty was getting tired, so I could take care of the turtles and kitties. Rusty also got his morning meds. Salem was just finishing up her breakfast. She stopped for me to pet her, before she went to hide under the bed. Rusty and I got some more fetch time in before I left. This afternoon I let Ruby out, then we went outside for awhile. Lance came out and was busy checking things out around the fence. Rusty played a little fetch with me, then the pups went inside. I found them both sitting in the front room, looking out the window. I think they're waiting for mom and dad to come home! They'll be very excited to see them.
