Mac & Abby

This morning it was already sprinkling on my way to see the pups. They were bouncing up and down excitedly when I arrived! I took them outside for a little bit. Since it wasn't raining hard yet, they did some wandering around the yard. Mac found a rawhide to work on. When we went in, I got Mac all cozy in his shirts. There is a chance for storms this afternoon. I put them back in their room and got them each a chicken snack. This afternoon I stopped by to give them a potty break, since they'll be cooped up all day. The rain was coming down pretty good for this visit. They wandered to the grass just long enough to do their business. We sat on the patio a bit, and watched the rain come down. Mac worked on his snack again, and Abby came by me for some attention. We didn't stay out too long, since it was a bit chilly. Poor Abby was shivering a little. Inside, Abby snuggled up on the couch next to me. Mac was busy rolling around on the floor for his belly rub! Later, they must have heard something that got them all worked up. I think they thought mom was home. They barked and Abby looked out the blinds. After awhile, they settled down and sat with me for some attention. This evening we headed outside for them to take another potty break. The rain had let up some, so they did some wandering around tonight. Mac found the leftovers of his little rawhide, so he finished working on that. Abby wanted to go in after a little bit, so we did. I heard a clunk down the hallway and went to see what it was. I guess Abby decided to check out the bathtub! Haha! She hopped back out and returned to the living room. When it was time, I got them back in their space with a couple cookies.

Mac & Abby

This morning I could hear the pups rustling around in the laundry room when I got there. We went right outside, so they could do their business. I brought out their dishes and got them each a cookie. It was cloudy and pretty dreary looking this morning. The forecast said possible showers in the afternoon, but it wasn't raining at the time. I took a chance and wanted to let them get a little time outside at least. Luckily, it turned out to be a beautiful day! We didn't get any rain today, so they got to spend the whole time outside. When I got there this evening, Mac and Abby were bouncing up and down at the door. We spent a little longer out there, and I got them a chicken jerky treat to work on. Mac finished his pretty quickly, and made sure to check out the spot where Abby ate hers, to see if there were any leftovers. They nibbled on their dinner while we were outside. Later, we headed in and they went in their room for bedtime.

Shadow

This morning Shadow joined me in the kitchen, while I got his food ready. He didn't want any of his special food right away, so he followed me around for some attention. He curled up in my lap a bit, and walked circles around me, purring away. We played just a little with his feather toy this morning. I got him some yummy food, which he started working on as I set it down. Later, while I was in the kitchen cleaning his dishes, he got a little spunky! He raced from the living room to the laundry room, into his box, pawed around in it, then high-tailed it all the way to the bedroom. I wonder what got into him! This evening Shadow meowed at me while I got his food. He was being a little finicky tonight about what I served him. He turned his nose up at both foods, so I got out a new can. Shadow decided to check out the pantry while I was doing that. Something very interesting about those water bottles... haha. He came back out and went to town on the new food I got for him. When he finished, we went to the living room to play a bit. He was jumping and rolling and having a blast. Shadow would walk away, pretending like he wasn't interested anymore. Then, he would race back and pounce on the feather toy!

Jack & Tigger

This morning Jack was right at the door, ready to see who was here. I got him a little bit of food to nibble on, while I got him some water. I let him wander about the house, while I went to see Tigger. She was already down on the main floor area. I guess she heard me too! She was meowing away at me. I got her some food and fresh water. Next, I spent some time with Jack. He curled up in my lap for awhile to be pet. When it was time, I put him back in his room and got him some more food.

Bubba

This morning Bubba heard me coming and was waiting in the laundry room for me. I got him some fresh water and he rolled around in the kitchen to wait for me. He started eating his snacks right away, but hurriedly followed me to the living room. He dropped to the floor and rolled all over the place. I got out his toy and had him chasing around the living room after it! He had fun playing today. As I was leaving, he went back to nibbling on his food.

Mac & Abby

Mac and Abby were right at the door to see me tonight. We stayed outside a little longer, since it was so nice out! They both came up to me for a little attention. Once they settled down, they both curled up and enjoyed the evening air. As we sat outside, we heard and ice cream truck in the distance. That got the pups going! They took off to the corner of the yard to bark at it. Later, we headed inside. I brought their dishes in, then sat in the living room. Both pups came running over to snuggle up to me. Mac rolled over for a belly rub, while Abby got some back scratches. Mac wandered off, so then Abby rolled over for her tummy rubs! When it was time, I put them in their room and got them each a treat.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Stuffs was in the same place I left him yesterday. He was sitting up when I came in and gave me a meow. Oreo came in by us and started meowing at me too. Oreo was a talkative boy today! He followed me to the kitchen for his snack. He was already waiting for me in the living room when I finished scooping their box. I sat down, then he crashed next to me, with his heiny up in the air! He pawed at my hands for me to pet him, then he rubbed his face on me. Eventually, Oreo got bored with me and went to go eat some more. Since Stuffy wouldn't come by me, I went over to him and pet him a bit. Then, the boys switched places. Stuffy went to eat and Oreo came back in the living room. Oreo went and laid by the window though, so when Stuffs was finished, he came to sit by me again for awhile.

Shadow

This morning Shadow was right at the door to meet me. I saw he had torn off one of the cardboard pieces that was on the door. He watched as I put it back on. Then, we got him some breakfast. He nibbled a bit, so I cleaned his boxes and picked up some of his cardboard shrapnel. He came and sat with me on the couch for a bit. He hopped up behind me and rubbed his face in my hair. That made me laugh. Later, we sat on the floor and played with his feather toy. Several times he got crazy enough that he suddenly sped off! This evening Shadow was ready to see me. He rubbed up against my legs as I got his food ready, then sat and meowed at me to hurry up! But, he turned his nose up at both foods I offered him tonight. So, I went and got a new can of yummy food for him. He liked that one and nearly licked his plate clean right away. We took a break to go take care of his box. Then we sat in the living room a bit for his attention and play time. He got some more food before I left, and he went right to work on it.

Bubba

Today Bubba stuck his head around the door as I opened it. I gave him a pet hello, then filled his dishes. As I was carrying his water bowl back to the laundry room, he kept plopping down in front of me and rolled around. I would step over him, then he'd race in front of me and do it again! Haha! We moved to the living room and he commenced his rolling around. He purred and rolled all over the place. I got out his toy and he swatted at that awhile too.

Shadow

This morning Shadow met me in the kitchen as usual. He had eaten well overnight. He ate some of his prescription food right away this morning, before coming to see me in the living room. He laid on the floor a minute, then hopped up and came to sniff at my knees. Then, he suddenly hopped up on my shoulders! "You will hold me now." Haha! He sat snuggled up in my arms and purred awhile. When he hopped down again, I got him some more food to snack on. He ate a little, then it was play time! He rolled around on the floor, pawing at his feather toy. This evening, Shadow met me in the laundry room. He helped me pick out a couple new cans of food from the pantry. He ate some, while I cleaned his litter boxes. When I came back, he was ready to cuddle in my lap a bit. The rest of the time, we played with his feather toy.
