Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo joined me in the kitchen and rubbed against my legs as I got their food ready. He sat and nibbled a bit, while I scooped their box. I went to the living room and Oreo came running! He plopped next to me and started rubbing his face on me. He enjoyed a long session of back scratches. I still hadn't seen Stuffs, so I went upstairs to check there. Nope! I went to the bedroom then, and spotted him out of the corner of my eye. He was laying on the couch in the corner. He sat up when he saw me, and got some chin scratches. I went back to visit with Oreo some more. Stuffs must have been comfy where he was, as he didn't come out to see me. Oreo didn't mind getting all of my attention!

Shadow

This morning I walked in to lots of little pieces of cardboard on the floor in the laundry room. Someone was having fun while I was gone! Shadow had finished all his food from last night. Instead of eating right away this morning, he decided to tag along while I cleaned his box. He came running along behind me! That made me laugh. He was much more interested in being snuggly this morning, verses eating his breakfast. He kept climbing up in my lap for attention. He did eat some for me, but didn't take as many breaks as yesterday. This evening Shadow came down the hallway to meet me in the kitchen. He curled himself around my legs as I got his food together. He took a couple bites, then followed me to go check his box. I noticed his white bed had disappeared from the room. He sat on the counter and purred at me, while I got him some fresh water. As we walked into the living room, I saw that was where his bed had migrated to. Shadow was a snuggly little guy again tonight. He spent most of the time curled up on my lap. I got him some more food before I left. Since he knew I was leaving, he decided to go eat.

Shadow

This morning Shadow came wandering in to see me. He had cleaned his plates from last night again. Good kitty! I got him some food to work on right away. He nibbled a bit, then followed me around. He came galloping behind me as I went to go check his box. I noticed he had relocated both of his beds last night! After I finished scooping, Shadow came to sit in my lap a bit. He purred away as I pet him. All that purring worked up his appetite, so he went to nibble some more. When he had eaten enough of his special food, I got him some tasty stuff to work on. This evening I saw Shadow had only cleaned his "yummy food" plate. He seems to eat his special food better overnight than in the afternoon. He circled my legs while I chopped up his special diet serving. He promptly ate some, then joined me in the living room. He kept standing in my lap for some pets. Then, he would walk a circle around me. Shadow seemed rather interested in my knees tonight. He kept giving me light little licks on each knee. One time his little tongue got stuck out of his mouth! Haha! We had fun with his feather toy tonight in between his snacking. He was rolling around, biting and kicking at it! Before I left, I got him some more of each kind of food.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo came brushing up against my legs as I walked into the kitchen. I didn't even see where he had come from. Sneaky! He followed me around while I took care of their things. I saw Stuffy was all curled up on the bed, looking comfy. Oreo sat in the bedroom and waited for me to clean their box. He joined me in the living room and plopped himself on the floor. He kept rubbing his face on my knee, over and over again, as I pet him. Stuffs came in to see me shortly after. He let me pet him a little, then he laid down just out of reach. Oreo and I played with a couple toys next. I set the feather toy on his head and he sat like that for awhile. That gave me a laugh! Later, I got the boys their food, so they took a break to snack a bit. Oreo came back when he was finished, and decided to sit and look out the window.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

Sadie sat right up in her bed when she heard me come in. I let her out and she bounced circles around me as I went to let out the other two! We all headed outside for awhile. Neighbor dogs were out on either side of the yard as well. Sadie ran to the back of the yard to say hi to the pups. I carried Cole out to the grass, but he followed me back to the door. I sat down at the door step and he sat with me, enjoying some back scratches. Zoie was sniffing at the bushes, looking for her bees. Naughty! She got bored with that pretty quick though. She brought her toy over to me, and actually gave it to me for once! So, we played some fetch. A couple times Sadie saw her running after the toy and would get all riled up. She would race around the yard, leaping over the bushes and running as fast as she could! Sadie stopped by me now and again to give me a few kisses and to get some attention. When it was time, we headed inside. Zoie and Cole went in their beds easily for me. When I walked back to the living room for Sadie, she rolled to her back and flailed her legs around, being silly. I had to bribe her to finally get her to go.

Shadow

This morning I saw Shadow had polished his plate off and finished both kinds of food I had left for him. He ate much better for me today than yesterday! He met me in the kitchen, while I got his plate ready. Shadow followed me to the pantry to pick out a new can of food. He was happy to eat a fresh batch of his prescription food right away for me. He nibbled, while I cleaned his box. He came and sat on my lap a bit for some attention. He would take breaks to go eat a little more for me. After he ate some of his yummy food, we played with some of his toys. He chased after the stick toy as I moved it around for him. He tumbled around trying to catch it. Then, he took off down the hallway. This evening Shadow had left the special diet food alone, but ate everything else I had left. He ate right away once I got him some fresh food. He was being a little spunky tonight! He crawled up into my lap for awhile, then thought he'd give my arm a lick. Then I saw that look in his eye... as he started to try and give me a love nip. I was too quick for him though! Haha! I got out his feather toy and we played with that instead. All the while, he kept taking some food breaks, like a good kitty. Shadow would occasionally disappear down the hallway today. One time, I decided to go see what he was up to. Now I know why! He was sitting in the window, soaking up the warm sunshine. I gave him a pet, then got him a little more food before I left.

Shadow

This morning Shadow met me at the door. He followed me around to the kitchen and walked circles around me. I got his breakfast ready and set it down for him. He just kind of looked at it, then walked away. I sat on the couch and he curled up on my lap for a bit. I guess he just wanted some love first! After a little while he hopped down to go nibble on his food. While he was busy, I checked his litter box quick. I came back and saw Shadow was playing in his box. I got Shadow a little bit of some yummy food, which he went to eat right away. Then, it was back to my lap to be pet. This evening Shadow was making his way to see me when I arrived. I got him some of his prescription food, as he was busy rubbing up against my legs. He turned his nose up at it again at first. We sat down and he purred as I pet him. Then, he went to eat a little for me. Later, I got him some of his other food and he ate some of that. He laid in the bathroom and waited, while I scooped his box. Shadow did some wandering around, then laid on his box by the door. We played with one of his cat toys a little, but he was more interested in lounging around and being pet! He worked on his dinner a little more before I left.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I didn't see Stormy laying in her usual spot. I figured she was probably out on the patio. I got their food ready, then went to find them. Sadi crawled out from under the kid's toy in the corner. But, I still didn't see Stormy. I took Sadi in to give her her medicine. She sounded really good today. I set her by the food, but she made her way to the living room instead. I followed, still keeping an eye out for Stormy. Finally, as I sat down, I heard the jingle of her collar. I wonder where she was! The girls both sat in front of me and enjoyed some attention. Stormy was lovey dovey today, walking circles around me and rubbing up against me as she went. She kept walking under the arm that was brushing Sadi, trying to get me to pet her with that hand too. Both their little motors were running. When it was time, I took Sadi back in to their room, and she worked on eating for me.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning was a goegous one for the pups to play outside. They all raced out of their beds to go check things out in the yard. Chico was trying to be my lap buddy again this morning. I tried to keep him down a little, so that he would work on his breakfast instead. A couple times, he would hear a dog bark and would leap off my lap, and go into a full run towards the fence. Bella would join him to investigate. Mr. Louie kept wandering around, stealing bites from their bowls when they weren't looking. I walked inside at one point and both Chico and Louie came running out from the bedroom. I bet Chico had a treat tucked away in his bed that he had to watch! Louie came over, stood up against my legs and talked to me for a bit. When it was time, all three raced to their beds and enjoyed a morning snack.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning the pups had fun running around a bit outside before breakfast. Bella was running laps back and forth along the fence. Chico was my little lap warmer this morning! He hopped up and stayed there most of the time. He even crawled up and gave me a little hug. So cute! That, of course, got miss Bella all jealous. She thought she should come up in my lap too! She thinks she's a little lap dog like the boys. Haha! Eventually, she went to work on her breakfast. Louie was inside eating his food and taking naps on his bed. This afternoon was nice and breezy outside. All three spent some time in the yard exploring. Chico laid on his bed in the corner of the yard and soaked up some sunshine. Later, he came and snuggled on my lap some more. Bella worked on finishing her leftovers from breakfast, and polished off her bowl. Louie came over by me for some attention. I started getting an itchy spot on his neck for him. Then, he rolled over for a belly scratch and was being all silly! This evening was still very nice out. We heard a cat screaming somewhere nearby. It must have been getting into a fight with something. Boy, that sure got the dogs all riled up! Chico was howling and they all were racing back and forth trying to figure out where it was coming from. They had fun roaming around until it was time for bed.
