Susie, Katie & Blackie

This morning the kitties were happy to get some attention. I headed in to see the pups, who had already heard me come in. Blackie was curled up on the couch, and decided to head for the backyard right away. The girls and I went for a walk. We have been lucky to have such nice weather this whole time! A big garbage truck was headed our way, so I had the girls stop and sit in the grass, like we usually do for cars passing by. It made its loud "pshhh" sound as it passed us, which scared the girls pretty good. They settled down, then we continued. Later, it came by us again, but they didn't get scared this time. We got back and the girls worked on their breakfast, while I went to get Blackie. This evening the girls and I saw several other doggies out for walks as well. When we got home, I saw Blackie had cleaned his dinner plate. We all had some fun outside tonight. The girls did some exploring. Every time I knelt down to try and coax Blackie in, the girls came barreling towards me for some love! The kitties were picking on me tonight. My little tabby was playing with my ponytail while I scooped their boxes. Then, the little girl hopped on my back! She did that three more times. Then, another was curling around my ankles, play nipping at me. Haha! I noticed today was the first day they had taken the curtains down too. I couldn't reach to put them back up, so I put them in the garage instead. Silly kitties!

Noah, Henry & Harper

This afternoon the boys saw me walking up and got all excited. We all headed to the kitchen for them to eat their lunchea quick. Henry was more concerned with getting my attention. I let Noah and Harper out as soon as they were done, so Henry could work on his. It was so nice out today! They all did some exploring around the yard. Suddenly, all the dogs in the nearby area were going crazy! I walked around the corner and saw all three pups were racing along the fence. There was a chocolate lab running along the other side with him. It looked like his owner was trying to catch him. So, I got the boys inside for a few minutes. I got them each a treat while we waited. Later, we went out to play a little longer. When it was time, we headed in and I got Friday back upstairs.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came down from her chair in the dining room to come say hi. I gave her her medicine quick. Her lip does look quite a bit better. She came and got some food, while I went to look for Sadi. I checked in her two spots under the bed, but didn't see her. I checked the patio next, and still no Sadi. So this time, I went right for the opposite side of the bed. Yep! She was laying under the top end, snoozing away. I got her nose all cleaned up and gave her her medications. She wandered out to the living room, ready for her brushing. Stormy sat nearby and gave herself a bath. Then, she hopped back up on her chair under the table to take a nap. Sadi loved her brushing and attention time. I set her back in by the food again before I left.

Susie, Katie & Blackie

This morning the kitties surrounded me for their morning pets. I headed inside and got Blackie's breakfast ready, then leashed up the girls. I was suprised to not see Blackie snoozing on the couch, where I usually find him. As we headed to the front door, I saw him snuggled on a little bed in the bedroom. He saw me and started making his way to the living room. The girls and I took a long walk this morning. When we got back, I sat with Blackie and all three pups worked on their breakfast. As I was leaving today, the neighbor's black lab came running over to say hi to me! This evening the girls and I went for our walk again. When we got home, Blackie was already outside. So, I went to see and take care of the kitties. Almost every single one was huddled up next to the door waiting for me! Haha! Several decided it was potty time when I went to clean their boxes. They crack me up. I went out to go fetch Blackie when it was time to go. He was all the way at the back of the yard!

Susie, Katie & Blackie

This morning it was another cool one outside. It feels like fall has arrived! I sat in by the kitties to visit with them a bit when I arrived. They were quite snuggly, trying to fight for my lap and giving me kisses. I met the girls in the kitchen. They were ready to go! I got them hooked up, then we went for a nice long walk. When we got back, I saw Blackie hadn't eaten yet. So, I brought his food by me and sat with him. He finished off his plate. The girls were snuggly too! They sat on either side of me for some attention. And of course, for the opportunity to nibble on his food if they got the chance! I sat on the floor by the couch, so Susie kept hopping up there and was giving my face kisses. As I was leaving, I saw a skinny cat-like tail heading under the shed. I tried to call "here kitty", but none came. This evening it was still so nice out! I stopped by the kitties for a minute. My little tabby friend was waiting on top of his stand for me to come clean boxes. Haha! The girls met me in the kitchen again, ready to go. Susie was just crying with excitement! We took another nice walk tonight. We saw a german shepherd out walking his people too. I sat with Blackie again this evening so he could eat his dinner. He wandered outside, while I went to change kitty litter boxes. They all want to help me, but they're more in the way than anything! I had to keep picking kitties up out of what I was working on. Haha! Blackie was still outside when I finished, so I went to coax him in for the night. I'm not sure, but I feel like he's a being a little weary of the girls. When I was trying to get him inside, he kept stopping when he'd see one of them standing behind me. Once I got them inside, then he'd come to me again. Not sure, just something I've been noticing the past couple days.

Bella, Louie & Chico

It was another cool morning for the pups to play. All three zoomed out the door to do their business. I got their breakfast ready, then joined them outside. Chico hopped up in my lap and snuggled with me a bit. Bella was having a blast running around. She and Chico kept hearing the birds squaking in the trees, then they would take off, thinking they could catch them! Louie was being a spunky boy again this morning, running and bouncing around. He decided to eat from everyone's bowl but his own this morning. They were busy playing anyways. Then, he dumped Chico's bowl over. I went to clean that up, and Bella and Chico came and helped by eating some kibbles off the floor. Silly pups!

Taz & Clyde

The boys met me at the front door this morning, sticking their noses out at me as I opened it. I got them ready for our walk, and this time both boys were whining with excitement! We took a nice long walk around the neighborhood and down to the pond. It was another cool morning. We saw several other dogs out walking their humans this morning as well. Clyde got all excited when he saw them. Once we got back home, the boys were checking the bushes for that kitty. But, it wasn't there. I dried them off, then let them play out back for a few minutes.

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty & the gang

This morning Moody was all curled up on a chair. He meowed at me quite a bit when I walked in! I stopped to give him some love before I went out to see the pooches. Freckles (I don't know her name so that's what I've been calling her haha) went around after I filled the bowls with food, and nosed through each one. What a goof! She finally settled on one bowl and started to eat. Sugar came bouncing over to say hi. Bradford and ZZ wandered over ti be pet before they went to nibble on their breakfast. Heighty found her ball and got me to play some fetch with her. Freckles went to chase around with her a couple times too. Moody was waiting on the back of the couch for me to return. I made sure he had enough food and he hopped up there to eat. Then, he followed me out. He wanted to be pet more than he was hungry.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning was very nice and cool outside. I let everyone out, then got them their breakfast. The cool weather must have been making them spunky today! Chico came in by me and was hopping around with his front end down ans heiny up in the air. He was trying to get me to play, so I stopped and we messed around. He took off outside, then Louie came bouncing in. He was zooming around the house, rolling up the rugs as he went! Bella was outside running laps. Then, she was prancing around with her nose up in the air, catching the scent of something. She saw some birds up in the tree as well. When I sat out there with them, Chico decided to hop up on the table next to me! I hadn't seen him do that before. Silly pup! This afternoon was just amazing out. All three spent as much time as they could out in the yard. Bella and Chico laid in the grass and let the warm sun shine on them for awhile. Bella and Louie also did some exploring. The pups all got their snacks before I left this afternoon. This evening was still cool outside. Bella was having a blast chasing after a grasshopper that was bouncing around on the patio! That was pretty funny. Bella and Louie were zooming around a bit in the dark, chasing after each other. When it was time, we headed inside for bed.

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty & the gang

This morning, as I walked into the garage, I heard little sniffing noses at the side door from outside. They knew someone was home! Moody met me in the kitchen and meowed hello. I stopped to give him some attention. He followed along to the door, as I went to see the pups. Bradford was bouncing around excitedly! Sugar got to work on her breakfast right away. Miss Heighty found a ball and kept rolling that to me to play. She wanted to play some fetch first! I tossed her ball for her a bit. Moody was laying on the back of the couch, waiting for me to return. I made sure he had plenty of food and water as well. He hopped right up and chowed down on his breakfast too. This evening when I walked in, I heard Moody meowing at me, but didn't see him right away. Then, I noticed he was still curled up on the back of the couch. He stayed put and waited for me, knowing I was going to see the dogs. Everyone was very excited to see me! Bradford was bouncing up at me for attention. I sat down after I filled their food dishes, and they surrounded me! They all wanted pets. Eventually, they wandered off to go eat. I filled their water bowls and made sure Moody had enough in his dishes for the evening.
