Katy & Sage

Today the girls were quick to recognize me and didn't bark for long! They both were bouncing up and down in their kennels. The misters were going and are still working just fine. I let Katy roam around while I cleaned her side. She had some energy today and was zooming all over the place! Sage was trying to play with me through the fence. She kept trying to get her kong over to me and got it stuck in between the fences! Katy sat for me and got her eye cleaned out again. Then, she went and sat in her house for her dinner. Sage was excited for her turn to run around. She did a few laps, then came in by me while I was cleaning. I had changed out their water today, so she decided to take a dip while I was filling her bucket! Ahhh nice and cool! We played just a little fetch today. She was already panting and it was pretty hot out, so we didn't want to overdo it.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I spotted Stormy as soon as I walked in. She was sleeping on one of the dining room chairs. I started talking to her and she peeked out at me from under the tablecloth. She hopped down, so I picked her up and gave her her medicine right away. She wandered off afterwards, while I got their food ready. Stormy went to eat while I went to find miss Sadi again. She was just sitting out on the patio again this morning, just watching the world and soaking it in. She meowed when she heard the door open. She got her medicine, then I set her down by the food. Her eye is improving, slowly but surely. She nibbled away, then came out by me when she was finished. She sure never gets sick of being pet and brushed!

Katy & Sage

Today the girls barked a bit when I first walked up. But then, when I said their names, it turned into excited bouncing around! I let Katy out to run around the yard while I cleaned out her cage. She roamed all over and sniffed around. She found something especially interesting in the grass, but I couldn't see anything. I had her come sit by me so I could flush and clean up her eye. She was a very good girl! She went right to her cage when I got her dinner ready. Now it was Sage's turn! She zoomed out of her side and raced back and forth across the yard. I cleaned out her area, then washed off her kong. She and I got some fetch in today. She would race after it, then bring it back and would roll onto her back at my feet. She found that same spot in the grass too. I guess it smelled good there! She got her dinner before I left.

Noah, Harper & Henry

Today the pups all announced my arrival. I headed inside and got them all their lunch right away. Harper and Noah finished quickly, as usual. I had them go outside, while Henry finished up his. As soon as he was done, we went out to join the other two. Everyone gathered around me for some attention. Then, Harper and Noah wandered off to explore. The neighbor dogs were out on two sides of the yard. We didn't have any issues though. The one seemed pretty interested in what Noah was doing! Later Henry wandered out a ways as well. It was pretty warm out already, so when Harper came back I let him in. The other boys came shortly after to go cool off. Friday was downstairs with us, wanting a few pets too. I set him back on the stairs and he made his way up. I sat on the couch and Noah was being his goofy self. He was crawling around behind me and rolling around in the blanket! Then, he got a toy, so I tossed it for him a couple times. Henry kept going over by the gate and would sit on his hind legs. Someone wants a treat! When it was time, Noah went into his area and I got them each a snack.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was ready for me! She meowed and was standing in the laundry room when I opened the door. She wandered back and forth from the kitchen to the dining room as I got their food together. She followed me and got to work on eating. I found Sadi out on the patio. She was just sitting there and enjoying the weather. She heard me come in and walked over, then we went inside to get her meds. Today she ate some food right away when I set her down. Stormy was in there too, and sat and waited until Sadi was finished. Sadi came out when she was done for her brushing session. I set her back in by the food again before I left and she nibbled a bit more.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I mixed up some new cans of food when I arrived. I was a little surprised that miss Stormy hadn't come out to see me! I put their food in their room, then started to look for Sadi. She wasn't under the bed today, so I guess she was out on the patio with Stormy. I opened the door and Stormy was right there, waiting for me to open it! I picked her up and gave her a dose of her medication quick. Then, I went back to the patio to get Sadi. She was sleeping in her little kitty tunnel out there. There was all kinds of spiderwebs at the entrance to the tunnel, which she got all over herself when she came out. Oops! I wiped them off her, then we headed inside. She took her meds like a champ, as usual. Such a good little kitty. Her eye looks about the same to me today. Still just a little bit of cloudiness. I set her by the food, then checked the litter box quick. I changed it out today, and Stormy went to use it right away. Miss Sadi had wandered to her spot already, and gave me a couple meows when I walked by her. "Hey, I'm right here!" I came back, of course, and sat with her to pamper her a bit. Stormy went back and forth to go nibble a bit or to lay by her window. Sadi went in to go eat just before I left.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came and met me in the kitchen again. Just as she was headed to the dining room, I quickly scooped her up and gave her her medicine. Her lip looks good and seems to be getting there. I sent her on her way and finished getting their food together. I called her and she trotted along behind me to go eat. Sadi was busy napping under the foot of the bed. I got her up for her medicine time. She did well and her eye cloudiness seems to be continuing to improve. I set her down and she made her way to the living room instead of eating for now. She went and sat in her spot. Stormy went to her usual spot as well and sunned herself while she groomed. Sadi just closed her little eyes and leaned into my hands while I scratched her itchy chin. Later, I put her back in their room so she could eat a bit.

Riley, Hunter & Sadie

This morning the pups were bouncing up and down to greet me. I was happy to see that Hunter did well overnight. I let the three kiddos outside while I got their breakfast ready. They came in after a little while to eat. Since Hunter did well, I fed him his normal breakfast. He ate every bit of it. Miss Riley took a little convincing. I set her bowl on the floor and hand fed her a few pieces. Eventually, she started eating on her own and finished off almost all of it. She walked away when she was finished, and Sadie decided to eat some of her leftovers. Once Sadie was done, I let the pups all play outside for a little longer. They will be very happy to see their parents come home!

Riley, Hunter & Sadie

The pups were so excited this morning when I walked in the door! Hunter was giving me his "I wanna play fetch" bark and even ran over to the pantry. I let them all outside for awhile and did some cleaning. Hunter had another accident overnight. Poor boy! I got to work on that while they did their business outside. I came a couple times this afternoon to give Hunter an extra potty break, just in case. He sure wanted to play his game, but unfortunately for him, not today. He did well this afternoon and didn't have any more accidents. This evening I walked in to some happy puppies! And not any accidents... woohoo! I think we might be in the clear. Riley grabbed Hunter's red ball that he had brought inside the other day, and was prancing around with it. I let all three pups outside for their bedtime potty break. When they were ready to come in, Sadie got her meds. I fed the girls and gave Hunter about half of his normal meal to start with. If he does well overnight, then I think he'll be all better and can handle his normal meals again. We'll see! He gobbled his food right up, and the girls both worked away at theirs as well. As I was switching the tvs, Riley curled up on the bed. I've been trying to keep putting the blankets back on the bed, but she keeps pulling them off again. Silly girl!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came all the way to the door to see me right away. She started meowing at me. Then, she eas rubbing up against my legs and even gave me a little lick! I guess she wants her breakfast. I got out her meds and gave that before getting their food ready. Her lip is still looking pretty good, not a whole lot different than it has been. She followed along to go eat right away. As I walked in, I saw Sadi was busy eating some dry food. I put the bowls down and turned her to one so she'd get some of that. Stormy didn't seem quite as ravenous this morning. She just ate a little, then wandered off. Sadi got a good amount of the canned food today. I let her eat until she was finished, and changed out their litter in the meantime. She got her meds next. Her eye looks like its starting to clear up a bit today. When we finished, Sadi wandered out to the living room. She found a sunny spot and sat there to wait for me. Stormy found her own spot by the table. Sadi enjoyed her pets and brushes as always!
