Jack & Tigger

Today I heard Jack meowing in his room when I walked in. I guess he knew someone was home! I went to see him and gave him a little bit of food to work on. He started munching away, while I got him some fresh water. I pet him for a couple minutes while he ate. Since he was busy, I went ahead to see Tigger. She was sitting at the top of the garage, then made her way down the ladder. She sat and meowed at me while I got her some fresh food and water as well. She got to work on eating too. I went out to dump the chemicals in the pool quick. The color looked fine, even with the bad storms we had yesterday. I went back inside to visit with Jack. I sat in a chair and he climbed right up in my lap. He was so lovey! He purred away and enjoyed every second of his back and chin scratches. Eventually, I put him back in his room and got him a bit more food.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today Jerrie was sitting right in the doorway of the front room. As soon as I walked in, I noticed something didn't look quite right about his face. I immediately started messing with him, checking his mouth out to see if I could figure out what was going on. I left him alone for a minute, then went to take care of their things. Miss Kimmie was following me around at this point, and had jumped up to the back of the couch to wait for me. Later, I headed in by Jerrie and was looking at him some more. Finally, I saw the little spot in his mouth and decided to give mom a call. Meanwhile, he enjoyed his brushing. He was such a good kitty! Kimmie had wandered in to sit in her window for awhile. Eventually, she migrated to the top of the kitty tower. Jerrie had a busy day today. On the way to the vet he was giving me such a sad meow. I felt so bad! While we were in the waiting room, he seemed to enjoy the wire top of my carrier. He would stick his head to the top so I could reach my fingers in and scratch his forehead. He was the perfect little boy for the vet! We headed back when we were done and he was happy to get back inside his house.

Char, Z & Tilly

Char was sitting right at the door to greet me today! She followed me to the back door. I went right out to see Tilly and to make sure there was no damage from the bad storms last night. I noticed the east gate was open, so I went to try and close that. I didn't see Tilly again today and was starting to get a bit worried. I noticed someone had come to eat since yesterday again though, so I was just hoping it was her. I went back in to take care of Char and Z's things. Today Char went and sat by her string toy and waited for me to finish my chores. She was a lot more spunky today and was racing all over the place after the string! She'd hunker down with her heiny wiggling in the air, ready to pounce! We had fun today. Later, she got some lovin. Char was super sweet and purred away. I had been laying on the floor with her and she walked all along the side of me, rubbing up against me on the way. She came over and rubbed her head against my face. She's such a nice kitty! I love visiting with her. Z was in her usual spot, peering back at me from under the bed. I just let her be, but just like to check in every day. I was worried that I hadn't seen Tilly yet again. So, just for the heck of it I went out once more to look around the yard again. This time, she startled me as I passed the corner of the house! There Tilly was, just lounging in the grass. Yay! I was very happy to see that cute face. She was meowing at me and didn't seem like she wanted any attention, so I just let her be. All I wanted was to see that she was safe and sound. That made me feel so much better!

Char, Z & Tilly

Today I surprised Char when I came in. She came running as soon as she heard me, and talked to me all the way. She followed me around while I took care of their things. She rubbed up against me the whole time I cleaned their boxes. I went out to give Tilly some fresh food and water. I didn't get to see Tilly today either. I looked around the yard just in case, then headed inside. Z was hiding under the bed again today, and was comfy enough that she didn't come out to explore at all. Char happily took all my attention again. She got pet for a little bit, then I grabbed her string toy. She was a little lazy today and spent most of the time just chillin' on her side. She would stick out a paw at the string, occasionally catching it. Later, she made me laugh as she was thumping her tail slowly on the floor and staring at the string. She watched it go this way and that. Then... attack! She raced over and pounced on it. After we played awhile, she got a little more lovey time in.

Char, Z & Tilly

Today Char was sitting right by the door when I walked in! I pet her hello, then went about taking care of their food, water and litter pans quick. Char wasn't a fan. She walked along with me and kept pawing at my legs as I walked. "Hey lady, pet me already!" She just really wanted some attention. That made me laugh. I sat on the floor and scooped boxes with one hand, while petting her with the other. I went to check on Tilly next. I didn't get a chance to see her at all today. But, I noticed that Tilly had eaten some food while I was gone. Maybe tomorrow! I headed back in by Char and went to look for Z. I looked under the guest bed and saw two little glowing eyes under there. That's all I needed, just to see that she was ok. Char and I headed to the living room to give her some much needed attention! We played with her blue string a bit too. At one point, she stole it from me! Char grabbed onto the string and pulled it out of my hands, then ran it behind the couch. I guess that was her way of saying she wanted more pets instead! Z wasn't as social today. I saw her sneak across the hall to another room, but that was it. Char didn't mind having me all to herself!

Jazzper

This morning Jazzper sat in her little house a minute and looked at me when I got there. She got up, then went right for the door. I let her inside, then she stood in the kitchen and barked for her treat! I got a nice big gob of peanut butter on the end of her treat for her allergy pill. She worked on that for a little bit, then wandered in to go relax on her bed. She was happy to be inside to cool off awhile. Later, she sprawled out on the floor and took a nap. This evening I woke Jazzper up to go outside. She had been curled up and comfy on her bed in the corner. She hopped up and went outside with me. She came in and out again as I got her food and water. She had fun rolling around in the grass again tonight, in between coming to me for some attention. She will be happy to see her family!

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today Kimmie was sitting right by the front door, staring right at me as I walked in! She knew I was coming I guess! She walked along with me to their room and waited outside the door, while I took care of everything. When I finished, she gave me a meow, then did a big stretch against her scratching post. I stopped to pet her, then saw Jerrie standing at the entrance to the bedroom hallway, just watching. I grabbed his brush, then started walking towards their front room. He slowly walked behind me. When I stopped and turned around, then he trotted along faster. He enjoyed a nice long brushing today. He laid on the floor next to me amd rubbed his face against me. Then, he'd roll to his side and get comfy. Miss Kimmie wandered in later and crawled under the curtain, in her favorite spot. Jerrie eventually climbed up to the second tier and sat, looking out the window for a bit.

Char, Z & Tilly

Today I walked in the door and saw Char right away. She wandered down the hallway and was instantly friends with me. She was meowing at me, craving some attention. I stopped to pet her a bit, then went to check on their food and water. She followed along, and took a couple bites after I pulled the food down. Next, I took care of their litter boxes, and had to stop and take a couple breaks to give Char some love! She was following me around everywhere, and even sat and waited by the back door when I went outside. I made sure Tilly had enough food and water as well. As soon as I walked in the shed, Tilly went zooming out. So, I didnt have a chance for pictures today. I headed back inside to look around for Z before some play time with Char. I didn't see Z, so I figured maybe tomorrow. I got out the blue string on a stick and started playing with Char a bit, after more pets of course! Char was going crazy, rolling around and catching the string. While we were playing, I looked up and saw Z sitting in the hall, watching us! I laid down on the floor to get a little closer without scaring her off. She slowly walked over, and gave my outstretched hand a sniff. Z got closer and closer, and even enjoyed a few chin scratches! When she'd had enough, she went back to watching while I played with Char. As I was walking around to grab my things and leave, I noticed Z creeping around stealthily, like a little black panther. She was hiding behind the couch and peeking around the side to watch me. As I got to the door, she then went to smell the area where I had been. Silly kitty! I'm sure Z will get more brave each time I visit.

Jerrie & Kimmie

It was a rainy day today, so instead of watering plants, I headed right in to see the kitties. I didn't see either in the front room, so I went to take care of their things. Miss Kimmie heard me and came running along behind me. She was quite talkative today! She sat on the rug outside the door and waited for me to finish up. Then, she made her way to perch herself on the kitty tower. I gave her a long brushing while she laid there. She was quite into it, purring away and rubbing her chin across the bristles. First one side, then the other. Next, I went to see Jerrie, who was all curled up on the bed. He gave me a big yawn when I walked in. He enjoyed his attention time while I brushed him. Later, Kimmie wandered in and decided to join Jerrie on the comfy blanket.

Jazzper

This morning I came and let Jazzper inside to give her a break from the rainy weather. It wasn't supposed to be quite as hot today. When I got there, she was already up and ready to head inside. I grabbed the towel that was sitting by the table and dried her off. She did a happy little dance while I did that! We went in, then I got her her peanut butter snack. After she finished every last bit of her treat, she went and curled up in her bed. The rain had stopped by this afternoon and it did become hot and muggy out, so I'm glad Jazzper got to stay inside. She got up when I got there this evening and headed outside with me. She followed me in and out of the house as I got her bowls filled with fresh food and water. She came over and got pet while we waited for the water bowl to fill. Later, we headed outside and she had fun rolling around in the grass a few times. When she came over by me, I brushed her a little bit. She seemed to like that! Then, she went back to roll around some more.
