Dillon, Ty & Boo

Rug curled up, boo freak out tail puffed this morning the boys were excited as usual when I walked in. I saw Boo must have had fun with the rug by the back door after I left. It was all rolled up into a ball! As I was letting the boys outside, something freaked Boo out. He raced off the table, knocking things over. His tail was fully poofed out! After he settled down he came over and rubbed up on my legs. I still don't know what he saw! I sat outside with the boys while they played. They were looking for more birdies this morning, and I heard momma bird somewhere chirping loudly to warn them off. They didn't find any, so eventually they explored elsewhere. When it was time to come in, they got right to work on breakfast. They will be happy to see mom today!

Titus & Angel

This morning the pups were quite calm when I came in. They both sat nicely to get their collars back on. After they did their business, they came in to eat. Neither was really too interested in breakfast. Titus just wanted to play! He kept sitting by me and would throw his head back and howl at me. He was quite the talker this morning! Since they weren't settling down to eat, we went out back to play. I grabbed Angel's toy and tossed it around. Titus would race around and grab it, but I'd have to go get it. Haha! Angel was too busy chewing on dirt from her hole. What a goofy girl. I made sure they had plenty of fresh water before I left.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Sparkles & Blackie

This morning Blackie wandered out of the garage when I came in. Sparkles met me in the kitchen, meowing at me. I let Hudson out and he decided to take me on a joy run this morning... I had him by the collar as we went out, but he heard a dog bark and pulled just enough to lose my grip. Off he went! I ran in the house quick and grabbed the treats and took after him. He was hanging out by Blackie in one of the neighbor's yards. It took a minute, but finally he came running to me and I carried him back home. Little stinker! I put him out in the yard and got the girls. They played awhile, then we wiped paws and came inside for breakfast. Sparkles was busy rubbing up against my legs for attention. After the pups finished, they went back out to play. This evening I saw Blackie lounging out in the backyard. He came wandering up to say hi when he saw me. I let the kiddos out one by one and we didn't have any more incidents! Haha! I let them play for a bit before dinner. They were all ready to come in when it was time. Gabby wasn't wanting to eat at first. She was more interested in playing. When I ignored her for a bit, she finally went to eat before Hudson could get it. Zel was busy chewing on her bone after she finished. I let her enjoy that for a bit before we went back outside. Hudson discovered a turtle in the yard and barked at it. He would prance away from it, thinking he was tough stuff! "I sure told him!" Then, he'd go and bark some more, until the turtle found a place to hide.

Titus & Angel

This morning the pups were excited to see me as usual. They went outside for a potty break while I got their breakfast ready. They came in to eat a little before we went back out to play. Titus wandered around after me while I refilled water dishes. Miss Angel was busy sniffing around like she usually does. Then she went to paw at her hole. I had her come by me for some attention instead. They had a beautiful day today. This evening the pups were bouncing up and down when I came in to see them. Titus was racing back and forth from door to door. I got them their dinner while I watered some plants. Titus was happy when I finished and messed around with him. Angel loved her attention and that of course made Titus jealous, so he nudged her over. He rolled over on my feet for some belly scratches. When it was time, they headed in and got their collars off.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Sparkles & Blackie

Tonight I met Blackie in the garage and gave him a pet before I headed inside. I let Hudson out first, and he bounced up and down at me all the way to the door. The girls came out next and they all did some exploring. I let them play for a few minutes before we went in for dinner. Zel was having so much fun outside that she didn't want to come in at first! So I got the other two started on their dinner. By the time I went back out she was ready for me. I sat in the kitchen and made sure Hudson didn't steal any of the girl's food. He was a good boy. When they all finished, we went back out to play. I got Blackie some fresh water and gave him a few ice cubes in it. Gabbie was having fun rolling all around in the grass. Hudson kept barking at something, but I couldn't see what. The wind maybe? Haha! Blackie sat by me for quite awhile to get pet. I saw Sparkles tonight on her way upstairs when it was time to put the pups back to bed.

Dillon, Ty & Boo

This morning Boo was sitting by the front window, waiting for me to arrive. I came in and pet him, before heading to see the boys. I had planned to take them for a walk again this morning, but Boo had other ideas in mind for me! As I let the boys outside, I saw the fish food bag laying on the floor by the back door... empty. I almost didn't even want to look! Luckily, the majority of it was spilled out on top of the tank. But there was a good portion spread all over the floor as well. He sure must have had some fun! I got the dust pan and broom and startes cleaning away. Boo laid at my feet, meowing at me for attention. Since the food baggie had all kinds of little bite holes in it, I looked through the cupboards for a container with a lid. I found one, and started transferring the food that was on top of the tank into the container. The food that was on the floor was cleaned up and disposed of. Little booger! This evening I saw the boys were good again as they headed outside. I got everyone their dinner and Boo pawed at my back while doing so. Maybe it was a 'I'm sorry' pat. Haha! After I finished I sat outside with the boys. They did their exploring and took breaks to come see me. Ty got all full of dried leaves again, so I would pick those out little by little whenever he'd come say hi. Just as we were about to head in, a commotion happened. It took me a minute to realize what was happening. I think a young bird had hopped out of a nest somewhere and tried to fly. It plopped down in the grass and the boys were right up on it. Then there was a big momma bird circling and dive bombing at them! They wouldn't come when I called so I ran over within seconds and grabbed them both to go in. It looked like it was already too late for the birdie. :( I got the boys in their room and cleaned up their eyes. While I was doing that I heard a loud thud! Boo had knocked over a chair at the dining table! I guess he just wanted to cause a little mishchief today!

Sophie, Kiki & Baby

Yesterday morning I let all the pups outside when I arrived. Everyone came to say hi, before running off to do their business. Sophie trotted along behind me wherever I went. I let both sets of chickens out next. They all wandered off into their own areas. I made sure everyone had plenty of water and refreshed the baby duck's little swimming pool. Kiki and Baby visited me while Sophie was taking a drink. They sniffed at all the other animal smells on me. That evening all three pups came running to see me again. I stopped to say hi to each. Sophie followed me everywhere as usual. I swear it was her goal to try and trip me! Haha! She would keep stopping right in front of me. I refilled water containers and noticed a little orange kitty hop in the window sill and start meowing at me! So cute! Kiki and Baby sat with me on the patio while we waited for the chickens to make their way into their house. Sophie even tried to help round them up. Later, I saw a little bunny sitting in the yard. Kiki saw it too! She took off to chase it, but luckily he was beyond her reach. The chickens started to make their way into their coops, and I helped the last few stragglers find their way. Before I left I got the pups into their house for the night too.

Titus & Angel

This morning Titus and Angel made their way outside while I got their breakfast ready. We switched it up today and sat outside for awhile first. Titus and Angel both came over to get their ears rubbed. Titus and I did a little chasing around. Then, he was intent on messing around with Angel this morning. He ran some laps around the yard while she sniffed around. Then, he kept trying to get her to play with him. She wasn't too excited about that! She came running over to me so I'd save her. Haha! After we played outside awhile, we went in so they could eat their breakfast. This evening the pups worked on their dinner while I sat with them. Ty kept bugging his sister and would try to claim whatever bowl she ate from. She would move to the other one, then he'd lay down with his head in that bowl. What a goof. Eventually they sorted it out and each stuck with one dish. We headed outside next to play a bit. Angel wandered around and sniffed around at everything. Titus followed me while I watered plants, and sat at the door waiting for me to come back out. They both sat with me and enjoyed a long neck scratch. When it was time they followed me inside for bedtime.

Dillon, Ty & Boo

This morning I let the boys outside while Boo and I got breakfast ready. Boo sat on his little table to get pet while I tried to fill his dish. He raced around like usual and today he jumped up on the chair in the bedroom, and hugged onto it. It was quite funny to see! He sat by me while I fed the fishies. I headed outside by the boys next, and watched them play for a bit. After I saw they had done their business, we decided to head out for another long walk. It was pretty quiet on our journey through the neighborhood. We saw the occasional pup in a backyard, but that was it. The boys enjoyed our walk, and even Dillon got tired towards the end. This evening I saw Boo peeking out at me through the front window! He was ready for me. I let the boys go have their fun in the back. Boo got some love before I got everyone their dinner. He must have been busy after I left. I saw little fish pellets spilled onto the floor. Boo had a blast rolling around trying to catch the broom while I swept up! Once I finished I sat outside with the boys. Ty had rolled around and gotten some weeds in his hair. He sat by me and let me pick out the majority of it before he ran off to explore again.

Sarge & Diamond

Sarge and Diamond both got excited and started bouncing around in their cages when I came in! I let them out and Sarge made his way to the back door. Diamond was busy just bouncing along with me, trying to get my attention. I waited until we were safely outside, then made sure to pet them both. Sargey boy gave me lots of kisses. Diamond tried everything she could to get up to my face to give me some. Haha! Eventually she settled down and they did their business. We sat out for a bit, then headed back inside when Sarge was ready. His coat gets warm quick in the sun! I gave them each a couple treats for going in their beds like good puppy dogs.
