Jerrie & Kimmie

Today Kimmie came running out of the front room and gave me a purring meow. She went and sat on the back of the couch to wait for me. After I finished, she followed me to go find Jerrie. He was all curled up on the comfy bed today. I pet him there for a little bit, then headed back to their room. Jerrie followed and was happy to get his brush time. Miss Kimmie went and sat in her window behind the curtain. Jerrie had enough brushing for the day, so he went and wandered off. Kimmie and I played a little while she was "hiding". She playfully swatted at me from under the curtain. Eventually she was done playing too, and went to go get a bite to eat. Jerrie was in there too, snacking away.

Chloe & Bruiser

Today the pups heard me come through the gate, and I could hear them barking. They waited until I got to the porch to come see who was there. Chloe was of course wiggling with excitement! Bruiser barked at me for a second, then wandered over to get some attention with Chloe. We headed inside and I made sure they had plenty of food and fresh water. Then, I got them each a couple snacks! They were sure happy about that. Bruiser finished his, then went to go lay on the bed. He misses his papa already! Chloe was happy to have all the attention to herself. She and I went to sit on the patio for a little bit, since it was nice out. She made sure I never stopped petting her! She would nuzzle her nose under my hand to get all the love she could. Chloe was enjoying some chin scratches, like if she were a cat! She rubbed her face from one side to the other to make sure I hit all the good spots. Later we headed back in by Bruiser. He came and sat with me on the couch for a little bit. They each got a few more snacks before it was time to go. I gotta spoil them just a little! ;)

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was curled up on her chair on the patio again. I went out to see her for a little bit. She hopped down and did her usual rolling around on the floor. She was quite lovey today! I sat on the floor and she walked a few circles around me, rubbing up against my back as she went. She even leaned her face into my hand for a little forehead scratch. A couple more chin scratches, then I headed back inside to get their food ready. I was bringing to food into their room and saw Sadi lounging on the floor by the window, soaking up some warm sunshine. I sat down with her and pet her a bit before we got started. Her eye was looking slightly cloudy again today, so I stopped by later this evening to apply more ointment. Sadi nibbled a bit, but she didn't come to see me. I walked back to see where she was, and found her sitting in the sunlight again! We sat there today for her chin scratches.

Sadi & Stormy

Stormy was sleeping out on her chair on the patio this morning. She had the right idea! It was such a nice day out. I said hi to her and she plopped down on the floor and rolled around a bit. Next, I got their food ready and got them some fresh water. No sign of Sadi yet, so I went on the hunt for her. She was all curled up under the foot of the bed again. This time she heard me coming and was already awake, just looking at me. She didn't feel like getting up quite yet, so I had to get her out. She was pretty stuffy this morning, but her eyes looked pretty good to me today. She was very patient with me while I got her cleaned up and medicated. She ate a little food afterwards, then came out into the living room to groom herself. Since it was so nice out, I brought her out on the patio with me. She wandered around and explored a little. Then, we sat and she enjoyed her chin rubs. She purred away! Stormy even came to join us for a bit. She rolled around, then got comfortable on her chair again. When it was time I brought Sadi back inside.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I saw Jerrie lounging on his favorite chair when I walked in. Kimmie popped her head around the corner from the bedroom hallway to see who was here. She followed me to the kitchen and hopped up on a chair next to me while I read the note. She waited on the back of the couch, while I cleaned their boxes and got fresh food and water. I gave her a few pets there, then went to see Jerrie. He was now sitting on the desk, waiting for me! He hopped down and laid on the floor so I could brush him. After awhile he got bored and climbed back into his cat tower to look out the window. I called for Kimmie, but she didn't come. So, I went looking for her, but couldn't seem to find her. I headed back in by Jerrie and noticed a bulge in the curtain. She must have snuck in there somehow without me seeing! I played with her for a little bit too.

Buckley, Chloe & Bootsie

Today Buck and Chloe started barking when they heard me come inside. They raced me down to the sliding door, and zoomed out to chase after the birds settled in the grass. Bootsie was laying on the sidewalk, sunning himself. He gave me a big stretch and a meow hello. Buck and Chloe ran around for a bit, then they relaxed under their tree. We were going to head inside for them to get a bite to eat, but I had a hard time cleaning off Chloe's toes. So instead, I brought their food and water dishes outside for them to work on. Buckley snacked a little bit, but Chloe was more interested in the birds. Bootsie was enjoying some attention time with me. Buckley saw that and decided he had better come get some chest scratches too! Later Buck went to investigate under one of the other trees in the yard. Chloe and Bootsie snuggled up to me in the shade for a bit.

Today Buck had to stop and sniff at the other animal smells on me before he headed down the stairs. The rain had stopped for us by the time I got there. I saw some birds outside when I got to the door, and the pups got excited. They went shooting out the door as soon as it opened! Bootsie was right there to see me today. He meowed at me to pet him, and followed me around. Buck had fun rolling around in the grass. He got all nice and wet, then came by me for attention! He's so funny. Chloe sat at her post below the tree, watching for any birds or squirrels. We headed in for a bit so they could get a drink and a few bites to eat. Buckley saw the basket of treats on the table right away. He used the arm of the chair to stand up and get a closer look until I caught him! I gave them each one before we headed outside. Chloe went back to her tree and Buck helped her watch for a bit. He eventually got bored and found a toy to lay down and play with. They each got another treat before I left.

Sadi & Stormy

Today Sadi was sitting in the hallway when I walked in. She came and followed me as I put the mail on the counter. I saw miss Stormy was out lounging on her chair on the patio. I walked out there for a minute and she hopped down. She started rolling around on the ground near me, stretching her legs out. She and Sadi followed me into the kitchen while I got their food ready. Stormy was feeling kind of lovey today and was rubbing up against my legs! The girls followed me into their room and Stormy got working on eating. I scooped up Sadi to give her her medications. Her left eye looked a bit cloudier today, so I will stop by later to give her another dose of the ointment. Sadi came into the living room after she finished eating for her daily chin scratches. Stormy even wandered by once in awhile to sniff at me, and she brushed up against me as she passed. She eventually went to go lay out on her chair on the patio again.

Today I came in and didn't see any kitties right away. I started getting their food ready, and Stormy appeared from one of the chairs under the table. She wandered into the kitchen and stopped to sniff at me. I could tell she wanted me to know that she was hungry! Once I finished, Stormy led the way to their room and meowed at me to set the bowls down. She got to work right away. I still hadn't seen Sadi, so it was time to start checking her favorite spots! I found her at the foot of the bed, snoozing away. I started petting her gently so as not to startle her. She kept sleeping. She was in such a deep sleep that she had me worried for a second! I picked her up and she gave me a sleepy meow. She wasn't quite so happy when I woke her up to start messing with her right away! She was a trooper though. She worked on eating a little after we finished. Her eyes look about the same today, so far so good. She wandered out to see me when she finished nibbling on her food. She enjoyed her chin scratches. She even gave me some 'thank you' licks on my hand. So sweet!

Sadi & Stormy

Today I came in and Stormy came trotting through the living room. She meowed as she went by, then went and sat under the table. I went over by her and she gave me a good sniff. She rubbed her face on the chair a little, then hopped into the window to sun herself. I got their food ready, and as I started heading to their room, Sadi came out to see me too. The kitties followed me into their room and they got started eating. I had to interrupt Sadi to give her her medications. She was pretty stuffy today, but I got her little nose all cleaned up. Her eyes look better than last time I saw her. The left one is still just a touch cloudy compared to the right. I will check her again tomorrow closely. After her meds I set her back down to eat. Stormy had run out and went back to her window for a bit. She couldn't decide if she wanted to sit on the window or a chair, and kept hopping from one to the other to get the perfect spot. Sadi eventually came out to see me. She sat by me and enjoyed a long pet. If I rubbed her chest, she'd just close her eyes and purr. So cute! When I scratched her chin, she bent down and tried to decide which leg she wanted to help scratch with. I must have found a good spot!
