Daisy & Casper

Today Daisy was curled up in her usual spot. After I got their canned food ready, she hopped down to eat. I fed the fishies, who were making kissy sounds at the top of the water! Afterwards, I went on my search for Casper. His name fits him well! I searched everywhere, then again while clinking the food can. He really must have a good spot! Both their food dishes were licked clean when I came today, so I know he makes his appearance after I leave. Hopefully tomorrow!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny ran his laps around the house as usual. Kota was excited to go for a walk today! Everytime Benny would get excited at his friends, Kota would spin around in circles and then take off at a running speed! They both had fun chasing after robins that hopped around on the ground ahead of us. Kota kept stopping at each little puddle of water to take a sip. It was pretty quiet out today. Not as many of Benny's friends were out since it was a little chilly. We got home and Kota was ready for a nap. She went right in her kennel and curled up.

Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper & Princess

Today Sammy and Molly were peeking through the blinds at me as I walked up to the house! They had a little pile of stuffing from one of the toys that I picked up while they were bouncing up to kiss my face! We went outside and Couper, Gracie and Princess all raced to get my lap first. Everyone had tons of energy today, especially Princess! She was running laps along the fence with the neighbor dog. The rest were busy racing around the yard and wrestling around. Princess brought up a toy and started squeaking it against my leg! It was kind of chilly today, so after awhile we went inside. Molly, Gracie, Couper and Princess all piled up next to or on me, so Sammy was giving me sad eyes looking for a spot. Finally, he climbed up and squeezed himself in next to me! Princess and Couper were having a blast wrestling. We took a break so they could eat their dinner. I discovered the word "cookies" was better than "treats" as each one perked up and ran to the kitchen! They got a couple of those before more play time and snuggling. They each got one big cookie to work on before I left.

Casper & Daisy

Today I found miss Daisy in the same spot as last time I saw her! She was all curled up in her bed on top of the dryer. I said hi to her, then got their food ready. After cleaning their litter boxes, I said hi to the fishies and got them their dinner too. I still hadn't seen Casper, so I went on the hunt for him. I searched everywhere with no luck, so I made my rounds again, but this time clinking the can of food! He must have a new, really good hiding spot, so I will try again tomorrow.

Ginger, Scout, Tiger & Scotch

This morning I let everyone outside when I got there. It was a bit on the chilly side, so Ginger was ready to go back in shortly after. Scout hung out there for a little longer than the others. I fed Scotch his breakfast and refilled the other bowls. Then it was time for Ginger's meds. She snuggled up in her blanket and rolled around in it again. Scout just wanted to be pet! Tiger stood next to me with a tilted head, "What about me?". Ginger saw those two getting their backs scratched, so she came and stood against my leg for hers. They gathered together, ready for some treats! I gave them a rawhide stick before I left and told them mom would be home later!

Ginger, Scout, Tiger & Scotch

This morning I met three little sleepy heads in the kitchen. They each got up off their comfy beds to say hi once they saw me. All three followed me to hang out outside for awhile. The neighbor dog next door was out, so they all ran to the fence to see him. It was still a bit on the cool side this morning, so we headed back in. I gave Ginger her meds and Scotch got his yummy canned food snack. Then the pups all got some attention and a couple treats to work on! This afternoon everyone got in line to head outside again. This time a different neighbor dog was out to say hi to. The sun was nice and warm this afternoon. So after a little exploring, Tiger and Scout curled up in the grass. Scout even rolled around in the grass! Ginger found a nice warm spot on the side of the house. Later we took another nice walk! Tiger was having fun grabbing his leash and walking himself. Ginger led the way most of the time, but eventually lagged behind back by Scout. After we got back home I visited with Scotch, who was sleeping in his nice little house. Then everyone got some treats. Ginger started her collection when the others weren't looking! This evening I let the gang out back while I spent some time with Scotch. He kept pawing at me while I pet him. It had gotten cooler out, so the pups didn't stay outside too long. Ginger got her meds and then they all got some treats. Ginger had fun rolling around in the blanket. Silly girl! Scout was being a cute little attention hog, and would paw at my legs for more. Tiger came over occasionally for some pets too. Ginger and I played with her little sheep toy for awhile. She would run up and grab it from me, shake it around and tackle it! She had fun with her toys for quite awhile. When it was time to go they lined up for their bedtime rawhide.

Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper & Princess

Five happy puppies greeted me at the door today! They all ran with me as we made our way to the backyard. I got my puppy pile and kisses before they ran off to play. Molly was having a blast rolling around in the grass! Sammy was doing a little exploring while Gracie climbed up in my lap. Couper and Princess were wrestling around on the chair next to me. Later Princess brought up a bunny toy to give to me. She and Sammy got a little sassy when I threw it, so I kept an eye on those two. Molly led the pack and started a race around the yard! Gracie followed close behind. Sammy stopped to explore by the shed and the other two took wrestling breaks! We went inside for their supper and they took turns licking the empty bowls as they waited for Couper to finish. They snuggled up with me some more after dinner and lined up for their treats before I left!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny picked up his blue ball and started making his laps around the living room. I let Kota out, who started singing to me right away. She snuck some kisses in while I was getting Benny's collar on! It was nice and warm today and a little windy. Kota had fun watching plastic bags float past us! She was busy trying to hunt birds today too. A boxer was out walking its owner, and Benny didn't want them to get too close! We headed back home and they got to run around in the backyard for awhile. Benny raced around with the neighbor dogs until it was time to come in.

Ginger, Scout, Tiger & Scotch

I could hear the pups all announcing my arrival as I walked up to the door. Ginger and Tiger came right outside with me, and Scout did a couple laps back and forth until finally joining us! They did their business and explored around for a few minutes. They took turns coming up to me for some pets. Then, I said the "w" word! They danced around and ran to the door, ready for their walk! Tiger ran inside right to the box to show me where the leashes were. We took a nice long walk and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. When we got home I visited with Scotch for a little while and got everyone their treats! This evening we spent most of our visit outside to enjoy the warm evening air. They did a little exploring, then Scout and Tiger laid down on the patio. We came back inside and Ginger got her meds. I visited with Scotch again, who meowed at me as soon as I opened the door! All the pups got a rawhide stick to chew on for awhile. Then they got another bedtime snack before I left. See you tomorrow!

Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper & Princess

The kids were outside barking when I pulled in the driveway today! I got to the door and was greeted by all the happy puppies! We all headed outside and in no time I had a puppy pile in my lap! Gracie and Couper were both wrestling to get to kiss my face. Sammy and Princess were on one side and Molly on the other. Princess actually sat on Sammy and he didn't seem to appreciate that. But she didn't care! They took turns running to the fence and snuggling with me before we went in for supper. After dinner they piled up in my lap again. Princess brought a blue stuffed animal up for me to throw for her. Gracie climbed on the next chair and curled up on the pillow. Later, Princess and Couper were having fun wrestling around. They all mellowed out after some time and were happy just curling up next to me! I love how Couper just crawls up, sprawls across my lap and on top of any dogs that happen to be in her way! Everyone followed me into the kitchen and got a big treat to snack on after I left.
