Kita & Kitten

This morning, Kita quietly greeted me by the door and yawned as she slowly went to the back door! She must have had a fun night with Kitten and her toys! While she was outside in the cool, morning air, I refilled her food and water dish, along with cleaning Kitten's litter box and giving her fresh food! I then went and layer down on the floor and talked to Kitten, who was resting in her usual spot under the bed! We chatted for a little bit, until Kita barked she was ready to come in! I could hear Kita greeting me as I was grabbing the mail! She was excited when I came in the house. She ran to the back door and did some little jumps! While she was outside, I prepared a few little surprises in her dinner bowl. When she came in, I had one little piece left so I asked her to do some tricks! When Kita shook my hand, she put both her paws in my hand at the same time!!! Then she tan back to her food and showed down! Then it was play time! We played with her toys and her red ball. I went back to the bedroom to say hello to Kitten and there she was, sitting on top of the bed!! She meowed and rolled over. I sat and she enjoyed some scratches and continued to meow. There were times she would almost head-butt my hand and flop over! Kita sat patiently in the room while I gave some attention to Kitten! It was then time for me to go! I said goodbye to both and wished them a goodnight!

Flax

I got a hardy welcome from Flax as I entered this afternoon! He met me with a wagging tail and more "hello"! I gave him a few scratches and then he headed towards the back door. We both went outside to enjoy the cool afternoon air. The birds were chirping and the sun was out, making it a peaceful time as we walked around. Flax then headed toward the open garage door and found a comfortable spot on his bed! He laid down and took a little afternoon snooze! I snapped a quick picture of him before he woke up and we went back inside. When I arrived this evening, Flax was drinking some water and came over with a wagging tail to greet me! After some scratches, he was ready to go outside. Flax and I walked around and enjoyed another peaceful night in the cool air. He would walk ahead of me and then come back for some more love and attention. Finally, he was ready to come inside and have some food. Flax picked the lamb stew for his dinner and licked the bowl clean. He then moved on to some dry food! After dinner, we went back inside and he enjoyed more scratches! He laid down on his bed and I snapped another picture! Isn't he so cute? It was time for me to go, so I gave him one more treat and said goodnight!

Daisy, Prissy & Ally

I found Ally lounging on a chair under the table when I arrived this morning. She stretched and jumped down to greet me! I sat and gave her some scratches and then we went on a little hunt for Prissy. We were unable to find her, as she must have found a secret spot to relax! Then it was time for me to head upstairs to see Daisy! When I entered the room, Daisy was patiently waiting to be let out! I opened the cage and out she went! She roamed around the bedroom, occasionally coming over to say "hello" and sniffed me with her cute little nose! She enjoyed running through her tunnel and chewing on the doorways to the tunnel! Next, Daisy jumped on the rocking chair and sat for a moment, then bounded off and ran under the bed! She came out a few seconds later and played hide-n-seek in the corner by the t.v.! After some time, she came over and closed her eyes as I scratched around her ears and neck!! It was time for me to go, so I filled her food and water dish up, placed hay in her pan and placed a treat on the top floor and she enjoyed another yummy treat on the way in! I went back downstairs and said goodbye to the cats! See you tomorrow!!

Kita & Kitten

Kita was excited to see me when I arrived this morning! She ran to the door and it took me three times to grab her collar because she was making circles around me so fast!! Finally, we went outside to say hello to the new day. The neighborhood dog was watching Kita and I, as we played in the back yard. I think he wanted to come over and play too! I let Kita stay outside, while I went into to see sweet, little Kitten. I found her enjoying the peace and quiet under the bed. We talked back and forth, but she did not venture out today again! I heard Kita barking, so I said goodbye to Kitten and let her in. Kita came in and grabbed a bite to eat and some water, then went to lay down in the living room. When I arrived this evening, Kita ran over to her squeaky toy and threw it up in the air, then barked! She didn't stay out too long tonight, as the air was cool. Back inside, she dug into her food, enjoying the few treats I hid throughout the dish. A few minutes later, she came into the living room and the bowl was completely empty! We played with some toys before it was time for me to leave! Sleep good, Kita and Kitten!!

Caleb & Charlie

As I entered the house, Caleb met me in the kitchen with his blue tennis ball toy, ready to play! He ran around the living room, changing from his toy to his bone! I then asked him if he wanted to go for a walk and he happily followed me to grab his leash. It was a short walk, as the weather was not cooperating with us today! We walked fast and Caleb greeted the neighborhood dogs as we hurried home. Then inside, we played with his toys until he ran back and forth from the living room to the back door. Caleb bounded out into the back yard and found another toy to play with! He rolled around on the ground as he tried to decide which toy to play with. As I turned around, I finally saw little Charlie peeking out the back door at us! I snapped a cute picture, but he didn't stay long as he saw us coming back inside. Caleb ran around the living room and around me as I was sitting on the floor! Finally, he sat down and enjoyed some scratches before it was time for me to leave! Thanks for a fun time!!

"Hey, I wanna come outside and play!"

Dakota & Benny

Benny said "hello" to me as I turned the key this afternoon! He then immediately ran into the kitchen as if to tell Dakota it was time for a walk! As I opened Dakota's cage, she was singing to me and wagging her tail! I found the leashes and we ventured out into the cool, afternoon air. During our walk, Benny greeted his usual friends and Dakota thought she saw something moving and was ready to go after it, until she figured out it was a plastic blag blowing in the wind! We made our way around the neighborhood and back home. Each took a quick minute to get a drink, then we headed out back to play a little fetch! Benny ran around with the green ball in his mouth, even though I was throwing different toys! He would try to growl and bark at me with the big, green ball in his mouth; it sounded hilarious! Dakota chased after the blue bowling pin and Benny tried to get it away, even with the ball in his mouth! Such fun times!! Thanks for a great time!!

Kita & Kitten

Kita's nose peeked around the corner as I opened the door this morning! She ran to the back door and jumped around in circles, excited to go outside. It was a beautiful morning outside and she said a friendly hello to the yellow lab next door. Back inside, I filled her water dish with fresh water and added some treats to her food, since she hadn't eaten too much. As I carried over the treats, she was barking and talking to me, excited for the yummy treat! I burried a few pieces in her bowl and when I returned tonight, the bowl was completely empty! I refilled her bowl and put a few more treats and she was ready to eat as I set the bowl down. While Kita ate, I went to talk to Kitten, who was chilling under the bed again! I tried to get her to come out tonight, but she was not ready! When I returned to the living room, Kita was laying on the floor. She wasn't interested in playing with any toys; she must have been full and ready for a nap! Before I left, I gave her a little treat. She did a few little tricks and posed for a picture!

Buckly, Chloe, Tizzy & J.R

As I turned the key, I could hear the welcomes coming from the bedroom. As I let them out of the room, it was a race to the door to get outside!! As soon as they reached the grass, it was time to play! They ran around for a few seconds, then all of a sudden, they came rushing back to say hello again! The welcome didn't last too long, as they all choose different areas to run and play. When the neighbor dogs came out, J.R. and Buckly ran over to greet them! Chloe and Tizzy laid down under the shade, while Buckly and Dad ran laps around the fence. After awhile, J.R. got a little lonely and wanted someone to okay with. First tried Dad, but Dad wasn't in the mood to play. So, then brother ran to his sister! Chloe ran around with him for a little bit, but then she got tired too. During our time outside, each one took turns coming over for a few scratches and then went back to running around! Tizzy came over and laid down in my lap. Chloe then wandered over for some attention and actually sat in my lap! It was hilarious! Now it was time to go, so I prepared the peanut butter toys and in the room they went! Thanks for a fun time!!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Charlie greeted me again this afternoon when I arrived! We talked for awhile, as he walked back and forth on his wooden bar. As I walked toward the bedroom, I could hear the dogs getting excited in their cages. I opened each cage and the boys ran toward the door, while Sugar went under the bed. She stayed there only for a few minutes and finally came out to join her brothers outside! It was a beautiful afternoon outside as we played around in the back yard. Jimmy watched as Buddy found something interesting on the ground! Sugar walked around, while the boys made a lap around the yard. Jimmy even stopped to pose for a cute picture; isn't he cute? It was time for me to go, so I put the red collar on Jimmy and said my goodbyes! Thanks for a fun time!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Charlie greeted me as I entered the home this morning! We chatted for a little bit before I found the doggies! He played with his bell and hung upside down, posing for a cute picture! As soon as I turned on the light, all three started wagging their tails and barking! I unlocked the cages and out went Jimmy and Buddy. Sugar was a little unsure of me, so she decided to hide under the bed. I went outside with Jimmy and Buddy, hoping she would eventually come out! The three of us enjoyed the beautiful afternoon air. I went back inside and finally Sugar came outside and joined us! We played for a little bit longer, then it was time for me to go! When I arrived this evening, Charlie was talking away, almost sounded like he was laughing! We chatted as I changed his water. He played with his bell and then tried to grab the water dish as I took it out of the cage; he is so funny! Sugar, Buddy and Jimmy were anxious to get out and all three headed to the door as I opened their cages! Sugar felt more comfortable and stayed with her friends! Jimmy raced around outside, while Buddy walked around and talked to some neighborhood dogs. Sugar stayed closed to the house and took a seat on her cozy bed while she waited for the boys. Back inside, it was time for dinner! All three anxiously awaited the three plates of yummy food! Buddy did find one of his pills, so I had to try and hide it again, which was successful! Jimmy scarfed his down, as did Sugar! We played for a little bit inside before they headed back inside their room for the night; sweet dreams!! See you tomorrow!
