Chico & Chi-chi

HThis morning the pups greeted me at the door. They had their food all piled on the floor again! We went outside to play for awhile. Chico did his little bunny hops out to the back of the yard. Chi-chi zoomed around for a little bit with him, then came to me for some attention. Every once in awhile Chico would run up to us for some too! He chased around with the neighbor dog again for a little while. He even ran to the back of the yard and pulled up one of the tall branches that were growing through the fence! He trotted around with it, showing off. It was four times the size of him! I laughed so hard. Chi-chi and I went back inside since she was getting chilly. I cleaned up their food before I left and Chi-chi helped me. This afternoon their food was still in the feeder, yay! They must have picked out all the good stuff. They were anxious to get outside and play! It was pretty nice out this afternoon, so even Chi-chi had a blast running around and exploring. They saw a kitty on the opposite side of the fence, so they both had to run up and say hi. They were zooming around back and forth across the yard, under the porch and up to me for some back scratches. I let them play a little longer this afternoon since it was so nice out. Chico would've stayed out all day if he could!

Chico & Chi-chi

This morning Chico and Chi-chi greeted me at the front door. They raced me to the back door to go play in the backyard. It was a little chilly out yet this morning and poor little Chi-chi was just shivering away! Chico wasn't even phased. He was busy bouncing around the yard and running with the neighbor dog along the fence. Chico went potty near me and started flinging leaves at me with his back feet! Silly boy! Chi-chi and I went inside so she could warm up. She started crouching down and chasing with me! Chico heard us and wanted to come play too. This evening the pups heard me and started barking while I got the mail. They were ready to play as soon as I got inside! I noticed that they had pulled all the food out of their container and had it in a pile on the floor. We went outside and Chico started leaping like a little bunny as soon as the door opened! He looked up at the roof over the patio and started barking. I'm not sure what he saw, but he did it again later! Chi-chi was more comfortable this evening and even chased after Chico! We headed back inside so I could pick up their food. As soon as I got it all back in, Chico began nosing through and pulling it out again! I saw there was another kind of food in the bottom that he was searching for. We chased around some more before it was time to go.

Dakota & Benny

This morning I let the pups out in the backyard to go potty and play for awhile. They both raced around the yard a few times. Benny and I played a little fetch (when he'd give me the ball hehe) while Kota was busy investigating by the shed. She must have seen something under there! We came in so Benny could get his meds and Kota could work on her breakfast. Benny had to run back out quick to get us his ball. I tossed Kota's kibbles around for them to fetch for a bit. Later after she finished breakfast all wrestled around! This afternoon we went for our long walk. It was pretty nice out, so we saw lots of people out and about. Kota was finding treasures in the grass while Benny was people watching and saying hi to his friends. When we got home, they ran around in the backyard for awhile. This evening they were happy to run around in the backyard some more! When they came back in, we played fetch with food kibbles again. Kota was leaping in the air, flipping around in circles, and zooming across the room to get them! She tried to make sure Benny didn't get any that were near her. Benny brought his ball over and snuggled with me while I got his itchies for him. Later they chased each other in circles around the living room! Kota took a little break to lay on the tile and cool down from all the playing.

Maggie & Moe

The girls were jumping up and down at my legs to say hi this afternoon! We went outside right away so they could potty and run around. They chased each other around for quite awhile. Then miss Moe took a little snooze in the sunshine. Meanwhile, Maggie was busy hopping up in my lap for attention! She decided that it was time to get Moe up, so she ran and tackled her! Then Maggie found a rawhide and teased her with that. She crouched down hanging onto it, then ready... set... go! And off they went, zooming all over the yard again. When they were both pooped and ready to go in, they got their yummy treats and snacked on their food a little.

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon wasn't the nicest out, but we were able to get our long walk in before the storms rolled through! Benny was getting excited before we even got to his friend's houses today! It was funny because they could all hear each other and they knew we were coming. Kota didn't seem to notice and kept to herself, searching for things in the grass. This evening I let them both outside right away. When they came inside they chased each other around the house for awhile before Kota took a break to eat her supper. Benny chilled out on the back of the couch, then came to roll around by me for a bit. Poor itchy boy! Kota stopped eating every now and again to give me a bunch of kisses! After she was done they took to chasing around some more. They got to run around in the backyard a little longer. Benny found a ball to bring inside for us to play with. I tossed the ball for him while Kota was enjoying being pet.

Dakota & Benny

Today when I came in Benny was zooming around and up and over the back of the couch! He let out a little "roo-roo" after Kota's. It was another gorgeous day to take a nice long walk. The first half of our walk was pretty quiet. For the last part lots of doggies were barking in their backyards, which got Benny very excited! He and Kota were racing, trying to get to the fences. When we go home I let them run around in the backyard for a little while. Kota zoomed over and hopped into the pile of leaves under the tree! They came in after their fun to get a drink and relax.

Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper & Roly Poly

Everyone was at the door and ready to give me big hello kisses when I came in! It looks like they were having fun with someone's slippers after I left yesterday. We had a couple little poo poos inside today, but Couper's done pretty well all week! We went outside to play after I cleaned up. Couper ran into my lap and attacked my face with her little wet tongue! She's such a cutie. Roly disappeared inside and came out with her big rawhide. The rest all gathered nearby and started chasing around. Couper and Molly were rolling around wrestling with each other. Roly joined in too, then Sammy scooped up her bone! Gracie and Molly came over to snuggle up with me for a bit. Later we headed inside for their supper. Sammy and Couper did the same little happy dance while they were waiting! When we headed back out, they were a little more mellow with their full bellies. Everyone climbed up in the chair with me and made a puppy pile! Roly, Molly, and Gracie all took off running when they heard a dog barking nearby. Couper sprawled out across my lap and laid her head on Sammy. She really enjoyed her belly rub! She relaxed and closed her eyes, until I'd stop. Then the legs would go kicking! They all lined up for their treats later and each picked a safe spot to crunch on them before anyone else would get to it.

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Benny was actually crying since he wanted to go for his walk so bad! I hurried to get Kota out and leashed up so we could be on our way. It was an amazingly beautiful day out today! We took our usual long walk. Benny wanted to stop and pee on everything! Kota was even stopping to go a lot too, then of course Benny had to go over her spots then. Silly pups! They watched birdies fly out of a couple trees and chased after things rolling around in the wind. They were both tired out and ready for a nap after we got home.

Cali

This afternoon I noticed Cali finally had eaten the treats I put out for her! She did her rolling around, then rubbed up against my legs as I made my way to the kitchen. After I cleaned her box, she curled up in my lap for awhile. I think she knows daddy is going to be home soon! She seemed to be looking around the house a lot today. She disappeared around the corner, so I went looking for her. She snuck up behind me and made me jump when I turned around! She followed me back in the living room, but she kept wandering off into the bedroom. Not sure what she was up to. I kept calling her, then she'd come running down the hallway and crawl onto my lap.

Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper & Roly Poly

The gang gathered at the front door to say hi to me this evening! I bet they were all happy to see mom last night. We went outside to play for awhile before dinner. Couper zoomed up on my lap right away to give me kisses! Gracie was up on my lap next. Couper and Molly kept busy chasing and wrestling around with each other. Roly was going from one side of the yard to the other, barking at noises she was hearing. Sammy curled up with Gracie and I for awhile. They both enjoyed some nice tummy rubs! We headed inside for dinner. Couper was getting so excited and did a funny little dance while she waited for me to set the bowls down! We went back outside for awhile after dinner. Gracie and Sammy curled up with me again. Gracie actually laid behind me for a few minutes. I think she was getting chilly as the sun went down. Molly and Couper were nearby giving each other kisses. Roly came out with her bone after dinner and found a nice spot in the grass to gnaw on it. When it was time to go they all lined up for their cookies!
