I'm sleepy...

Ladybug, Boomer, Bella & Bo
This afternoon the pups were happy to see me! We went outside to play for awhile, but it was kinda hot. Everyone did their business, then lounged somewhere in the shade, so we headed back inside the cool house. I got down a bunch of toys and filled them with treats or peanut butter. They licked the peanut butter out of one before I had the chance to set down the next one! Boomer and Ladybug were pretty sleepy, so they snuggled up in the crates and took a nap. The puppies played with their toys for awhile, then they were ready for one too! Tonight everyone was bouncing up and down at the gate, ready to go outside! They all ran out and went potty. Ladybug ran a few laps along the fence. Bella and Bo wrestled around for a little bit, while my buddy Boomer snuggled up with me. The pups ran around and barked at things in the darkness. When we went in, I tucked everyone in for the night and gave them their bedtime snack.
Maddie, Spencer, Izzy, Willy, Tilly, Natilie, Potsy & El Nino
This morning Spencer saw me coming to the barn right away and everyone got excited to get out and play! I let Maddie and Spencer lead the way to the backyard while Izzy, Nino and I followed. I let Willy, Tilly, and Natilie out next. They all decided they wanted some attention before they headed out! Willy hopped up against my leg to say hi. Tilly waited for her turn after the other two made their way outside. This evening I let the four out to play in their yard while I got everyone's supper ready. Potsy was very lovey tonight! She was rubbing up against my legs and purring away while I pet her! Nino kept busy chasing with the Corgis and running around the yard. Spencer and Maddie hung out by me for some back scratches! Maddie liked hers so much she was rubbing her face on my leg and Spencer did his little dance for more!

Maddie, Spencer, Izzy, Willie, Tilly, Natilie, Potsy & El Nino
Tonight I could hear the Corgis announcing my arrival as I started walking around back! I let the four little ones out to stretch their legs, while I got supper ready for everyone. Potsy came running in for her food as soon as the coast was clear! I spent some time up by the back of the house while they played. Nino wasted no time and was soon in my lap, kissing my face! Spencer and Maddie came over and got a nice back scratching. Izzy laid on the doorstep, waiting for mom and dad to let her in. Nino and Spencer ran off to chase back and forth along the fenceline with the Corgis for awhile. I let Willy, Tilly, and Natilie in for their supper when it was time. Then it was everyone else's turn. I let Spencer and Maddie go out without a leash for the first time, with a watchful eye, and they ran right into the barn for their dinner! Such good pups!
Dakota & Benny
Benny almost didn't hear me come in today. It took him a minute before he came to greet me, then started with his usual circles around the room. Kota, Benny and I took our nice long walk today! As we were walking, Benny was being greeted at his normal doggie friend's houses that we passed by. He accidently kept ramming into the back of Kota's legs because he was so excited! She whirled around and scolded him when she'd had enough, but in a playful way! We continued on our way, and later I noticed... I'm still not sure how, but Kota had gotten half way out of her harness! She's such a little Houdini! After I got her situated, we finished our nice walk and headed home. They were both pretty tired!

Dakota & Benny
Today Kota and Benny were excited for their walk! Kota did her woo-wooing at me while Benny was trying to sneak his ball out with us again! We took a slightly shorter walk today since it was pretty hot out. When we got back home, Kota and Benny played out in the backyard for a little bit. Benny enjoyed laying in the grass in the shade from the tree. Kota was ready to head back inside not too long after we went out. Inside, Benny and I played some fetch. He tried playing with that football today too! It was hilarious! He didn't want to let go of his other ball. He'd just shake his head around and paw at the football. Kota decided to join in the fun too, picked it up and ran around with it!

Dakota & Benny
Yesterday Kota, Benny and I took a nice long walk. Benny snuck out his ball without me noticing! All of a sudden after we had been walking awhile, he stopped and dropped it on the ground. Sneaky! I picked it up and carried it the rest of the way. As we were walking, an older gentleman was walking to his mailbox. Benny started to bark, then he laughed and asked the dogs if they were walking their servant! Cracked me up! It was bright and sunny out while we walked, but we got a little sprinkle shower along the way. We all thought it was very refreshing!

Chico, Chi-chi and Cali
This morning the pups were both sleeping when I first walked in. After I shut the door, they knew I was there and started barking! As soon as Chico's feet hit the ground outside, he took off running! He zoomed around all over the backyard and was hopping up in the air like a bunny rabbit. It was hilarious! Chi-chi hung out by me and got her morning attention. I decided to take a little walk around the yard and she followed me. Chico was having so much fun! Cali was peering out the door and wanted to come play too. She stretched up and batted at the handle. When we came in, Chico and Cali were chasing each other around while Chi-chi ate her breakfast. Cali hopped up on the back of the chair I was sitting in and looked down at Chico. I started to pet Cali and scratch her chin. She had pretty much kept her distance from me most of the times I have seen her, but boy was I her new best friend! I stopped petting her because Chico and Chi-chi were hopping in my lap. Cali moved down to the arm of the chair to start rubbing her head on me and let me know she was still there! Chico really wanted to go back outside to play, so we did for a little while. Cali followed me to the door and was rubbing against my legs the whole way. Peek-a-boo! Can you see me?
Toby, Tyson & Morgan
When I opened the door to come into the house this morning Morgan was right there to greet me and get some attention. Tyson was laying up on the counter in the kitchen and I went over and gave him some attention, with Morgan following behind. Toby was snoozing on the bed and I had to go get him up and going this morning! It took a little bit for him to realize it was time to go outside. But once he did, he was going crazy, running around and ready to go! We went out in the back for a bit and he did his business, then we went for a walk around the neighborhood. When we got back he was really playful and I sat on the ground and he wrestled around with me for a little while before it was time to go.
Is it that time already?
Mandy, Erin, Oscar and Izzy
After breakfast, we went back outside to enjoy the cool morning. I think both girls are ready for Mom and Dad to come home, as each little sound outside made them look to the door! I stayed a bit longer so I could say my goodbyes with lots of scratches and belly rubs! We had a great time; all four animals are loving and very comical!
Mandy, Erin, Oscar and Izzy
The girls were anxious for me to get back, so I joined them for more scratches and games with the yellow toy! Erin got so crazy with the yellow toy, she ripped an ear off! Then she couldn't decide if she wanted to play with the ear or the rest of the toy; it was great! Finally, she joined Mandy on the couch for some TLC! Before I said goodnight, both girls were getting their tummy rubbed at the same time, both with one paw up in the air! It was so cute!
